Highly recommend if you, like me, are financially illiterate. Gives you a good starting point, or atleast a layman-like understanding of money, finances and financial planning.
Some things could be elaborated a bit more, like calculations to support some of the things he mentions. But, real world examples (with numbers) of some of the concepts in the book and numerical comparisons help you visualize or understand better. There's a bit of drama, fluff and supernatural element, which you can conveniently ignore :)
A pleasant reading and understanding of a subject that the majority of us do not want to delve into.
The book is written in mostly colloquial English and easy to grasp.I found all important fields of personal finance being discussed here neatly. Some parts though seemed to be repetative but those also came in different contexts. Sureshji showed how a particular financial tool can be useful for different situations. If we can take those Geeta Upadeshas in our lives as our booster life can be changed towards betterment. The real scenario of Indian financial and political condition that affects our lives have also been touched here. One thing to mention the character named Arundhati has been misspelt as 'Arundathi' in pages numbered 188, 286,288,299 and 341. It would be my pleasure to recommend this book to my friends and family members.
The author explained the financial concept with a flow to understand for the beginner ..as an investor, client or the new financial advisor. Nicely experience each and every aspect of invesment .a good portion was covered on retirement planning and the best part is it related with life management
Amazing book to read about all the investment options
It explains all the possible investment options in very easy understandable language with pros and cons I loved the way myths of real estate property investments was covered and explained
I enjoyed reading through the book. It's not that the book has introduced any new concepts around financial management but the author has been able to present across his viewpoints beautifully through different stories.
