Not Much To It…

I have reviewed several other books by this author, and for the most part, I thought they were well done. Unfortunately, I am not a particular fan of this book. For one thing, it needs more pages. The PDF ARC copy I received is only 31 pages; however, this does not mean 31 Illustrations to color. The author has provided a page that describes the activity of the drawing to follow; a full page for a couple of words that can be traced. So, there are actually less than 15 pages to color. Surely, the author could have come up with more activities that families could do during lockdown (which is the theme of the illustrations) or included variations on the ones already in the book. The illustrations themselves appear a little crude compared to most illustrations in the typical children's coloring book. All in all, I do not feel like I can recommend this book.

I received a free copy of this coloring book, but that did not affect my review.
