Wait is a study that takes an in-depth look of Psalm 31-60. The study focuses on the character of God that is revealed in the Psalms and it encourages us to trust Him through seasons of waiting and suffering. This study is for anyone that wants to know more of who God is and see how who God is changes the way that we should live as His people.
The study is six weeks long. Each week contains five days of study including study questions. Each week also has a memory verse and a weekly reflection to help dig deeper into Scripture.
I started this Bible study well over a year ago, put it down for a long time, and just picked it back up last week to finish it out. I really don’t love the repetitive questions in this study. I wish they were a little different, especially in the weekly reviews because I felt like the same answers kept being written over and over again. I have the 3rd study in psalms from this author but may try another one of hers before I pick it up.
The writings about each of the presented psalms were very good, but the questions were repetitive or obvious and I skipped a bunch of them. The look of the book is beautiful, soft pastels, but the white font on glossy pastel pages made reading it difficult without just the right light.
A great companion study to Psalms 31-60! Concise, yet fairly meaty entries. The daily study questions had a little more depth than a typical Daily Grace study. I read this in conjunction with Warren Wiersbe’s commentary, which was often quoted, so at times the material was redundant, yet the study was solid and biblical. Only other critique was that the font color made it difficult to read!
I have enjoyed the study through Psalms!!! Some of the questions it asked in the devotionals really made me stop and think about things. My only fuss is that the weekly review questions do get old after a while.
Very shallow no spiritual depth. Majority of the questions don’t even pertain to the scripture read. Such a shame because the Psalms hold precious hope and encouragement
