High school was a nightmare. I spent the majority of my time dodging the three bullies who delighted in giving me hell. Austin, Gavin, and Vaughn were so awful that just seeing them could ruin my day. It was a relief when I finally graduated and I knew I wouldn't have to deal with them ever again.
That is until I got talked into going to our ten year reunion. I had fantasies of seeing what had karma done to my high school enemies. I couldn't wait to see bald spots, beer guts, and delicious failure. But I didn’t get that. Instead, I got their attention - all of their attentions - in a way I didn’t expect. Now I’m caught in and unfamiliar relationship with all three of them and am unsure exactly where it will go.
A really good story with some dreamy characters you both love to hate and want to hug. Steam is off the charts at times with some very satisfying things going on.
My main problem is the grammar and the editing, this book seems to have failed it’s spell check exam and totally dismissed the need for an editor. It’s a real pity because with a little attention to detail I would have contemplated a five star review, instead I only felt a three was warranted.
It’s worth a read and I’m very tempted to continue reading the series even with the problems I’ve stated. Your choice, if you can make do, then give it a go.
I read the first two books & decided I was done a couple of chapters into the 3rd.
I see reviews from people who LOVED this book / series and I wish that could be me but…I just have too many issues.
1) Two books in and the characters have shown little to no growth. Their relationship makes no sense. These 3 boys actively tormented her (although to be honest, the torment that is described is silly, not sure it justified the strong reactions or 10-year long grudge she still has) and she just puts that aside to sleep with them and then randomly falls for them? The build up just didn’t seem believable.
2) Nothing happens. Like literally, there comes a point where there’s a little bit of drama but it just kind of falters and they move on.(The drama might continue into the next books but I’m honestly bored to tears so I won’t be sticking around to find out).
3)The boys & Nadia are self centered & immature. As someone who IS about to turn 30, I was unable to relate to these characters at all. Pretty much every character was “oh poor me, my life has no direction and no sense of purpose. Let me complain about it nonstop both in my inner thoughts & during conversations but then actively do nothing to fix my situation or make a change.” Literally toward the end of the second book I found myself rolling my eyes almost anytime one of them said or did something.
4) Grammar & sentence structure made some parts really confusing. There were a lot of times (more than I’d expect in a book that’s apparently been “edited”) where I’d have to go back and reread a paragraph, page or even several pages because it was hard to keep track of who was speaking or involved in conversations. There were a lot of inconsistencies & it got really annoying to have to keep rereading things to make sure I understood what was happening.
Overall, it was okay but not even close to great. I definitely won’t be finishing the series & I only recommend this to anyone that doesn’t care about riveting storylines, character development & anything aside from mediocre sex scenes.
I found myself to be back and forth on how I feel about this book. I enjoyed parts of it but at times the males tended to really irk me for the types of characters they were. The female seemed to be really wishy washy and I never really understood her whole trust issues as there wasn’t enough of the back story but was given sort of glimpses to it. It felt like she held a grudge over past events but never seemed willing to move past them. The plot was unfinished, which made sense as it being the first in the series. I’m just not sure the story was enough for me to want to read the next in the series. It was a good story but by the end of it, I wasn’t the most impressed with it.
I give this a three out of five stars. The plot was decent but the characters were kind of wishy washy and a little annoying at times.

POV: multiple HUMOR: yes F BOMBS: yes CLIFFHANGER: yes NEW AUTHOR FOR ME: yes
At the reunion, not only does Nadia get to see what her bullies look like (hoping they're bald with beer guts), she also gets to have a slumber party with her good friend, Mara. Win-win, right?
I liked that she had a normal body shape with "love handles and back fat," it makes her relatable. Loved when Vaughn asked what's the difference between him and Austin - Austin listed them off and you can almost hear the mic drop! Best part is that the guys were generous and considerate during intimacy.
Some parts (like the steps in applying make-up) seemed to have too much detail, if that's a thing? And since this book is a slower pace, it made the story appear longer. A little on the fence with Nadia; she was ok, but a bit bland personality-wise. This is a slow-slow-slow burn, enemies-to-lovers; patience is required and rewarded about half-way. And then... Oh my!
I was surprised that I was left hanging at the end... didn't realize it was a cliffhanger. Didn't feel the chemistry between Nadia and Vaughn; guess that's why there's a cliffy.

Hey there! It’s Veronica again and I have… stepped outside my comfort zone. Someone from Scarlet Lantern Publishing reached out to see if we’d want to review any of their books a couple of months back and I went ahead and seized an opportunity.
The thing is, BookTok is obsessed with reverse harems and I’d never read one. I’ll explain more about why later on, but I promise I have reasons.
Anyway, I asked the rep if there were any matching my criteria and she was like “I SURE DO” so she sent me two out of the four in a series called Nadia’s Boys by Alyssa Clark.
The order goes as follows: Reunion (the focus on this humble review) Austin Gavin Vaughan
I dug right in, eager to read something in a genre I hadn’t read before. Let’s get into it.
Top Bun: This book was hotter than it had any right to be. I kind of don’t know what to say about this other than the fact that it was hotter than I expected. Frankly, I didn’t know what to expect from it at all, but at some point, I expected a group sex scene, and well… I definitely got it. And then some.
There were absolutely times when I was shocked at how hot the book was, and others where I was cringing and questioning the laws of physics. (Can a neck actually bend that way?)
In the end though, I found it fascinating to see Nadia navigate these relationships with three dudes. Each of them had a different dynamic with her, and of course, polyamory isn’t really “the norm” in American culture. So she had some social interactions that made her wonder what people thought of her.
Regardless, I have a couple of friends who are into the polyamory lifestyle and I find it fascinating. I’m far too jealous to do that in my real life, but … a girl can dream.
Meat: Maybe Reverse Harems just aren’t for me? Again, Reunion was my first reverse harem. I have nothing to compare it to. Truly, I’m not sure this sub-genre is for me, but I’m not willing to count it out just yet. I will continue in the series because I want to see how things play out.
Will Nadia and Austin ever just be exclusive? (And along those lines, has my monogamy brainwashed me? Because this group dynamic seems to be kind of … awesome.) How will Vaughan entering the picture change things? Will we find out that Gavin is a big ole softy on the inside? (I predict the answer is a resounding yes, but only for Nadia.)
Also, the teaser for book 2 at the end… Austin’s crazy ex shows up and I’m going to need to find out what she’s up to.
They’re all questions I’m interested in finding out the answers to, and the whole series is published now, so I’ll finish it.
Bottom Bun: They’re not 19 years old! As I said, I had particular criteria for reading my first RH. There are some really popular reverse harem series that are centered around a 19yo woman (and others set in high school -- what the actual fuck?) and I’m just not into that. I’m not majorly into new adult romance anyway, but a 19yo getting into a reverse harem situation doesn’t interest me in the slightest.
My other main issue with reverse harems is that they’re so often set in a bully romance trope, which I’m never into.
I have no desire to have sex with people who were so mean to me that I thought of them as bullies, no matter how much time has passed. I know I talk a lot about how I love the enemies-to-lovers trope, but there’s a line for me -- bullying vs. just not getting along or having beef with each other.
Literally, if I saw some of the dudes from middle school who were horrible to me walking down the street tomorrow, my blood would run cold as their jokes about my eyebrows ran through my brain, and then my blood would boil and I’d probably try to trip them.
They surely wouldn’t recognize me, anyway (since I learned how to shape my eyebrows). I could just be some random person on the street who is clumsy.
And again, let’s go back to that 19yo thing. Listen, I’m not saying that I don’t think 19-year-old people can be adventurous -- of course, they can. I just don’t think that there are a lot of 19-year-olds who are thinking that having sex with two or three dudes at the same time is what they’re looking for.
Now, I could be totally wrong. This could be the final sign that I am, indeed, old.
But… come on.
Nadia and her boys are about 28 -- the main premise of the first book is that everyone is in town for their 10-year high school reunion. So we have three former football stars (two of which went to the NFL) and then Nadia, who is working at least two jobs at all times to scrape by. There’s built-in tension, thanks to their difference in socioeconomic status, and then there’s the awkwardness of the past-bullying situation.
And let’s be clear: she doesn’t just jump into bed with 3 high school bullies. She develops genuine feelings for Austin, and then… sort of feels attracted to the other two? That part is more difficult for me to grasp. But again, I’m new to the reverse harem genre.
Anyway, I was grateful to read a RH that didn’t involve a 19yo or a high school student (SERIOUSLY, WTF).
Bonus Bottom Bun: Sex Positive Book/Female Empowerment One of my favorite things about romance novels is that they empower women to embrace and explore their sexuality. Reverse harems offer another (super interesting and very hot) way to do so, which means I’m all for the genre.
Repeatedly throughout the book, Austin and Gavin talk about how they don’t want to make Nadia choose between them and Gavin just wants a chance with her. To hit a home run with her? (I’m literally giggling to myself at the high school euphemism.) Sure, yes. But mostly he wanted a chance to connect with her the way Austin had.
When Vaughan realizes he’s being left out, he’s annoyed and wants a chance with Nadia also. Again… he wants to butter her biscuit, but he also wants to get to know her better. And while Vaughan seems a bit cold, we do see a gentlemanly side of him early-on in the book, though even as I type this, I realize that THE BAR IS ON THE FUCKING FLOOR.
But trust that when he joins in… it’s worth the wait.
Overall, Reunion was enjoyable. As I said, I’ll finish the series.
And of course, many thanks to Scarlet Lantern for sending me a paperback (which you can see in a couple of our TikTok videos).
3.5 I liked this book, you know I’m a sucker for a good Rh. And I liked the fact that everyone was in their late twenties, it’s rare when it’s not students so I appreciate it
But when I started it I thought this was going to be a standalone and it seems there are 4 books. I don’t know if I’m going to read all 4 of them because it was quite long, I don’t particularly care for the last guy and based on the previews there’s going to be a lot of drama, I don’t know if I’m invested enough for all of it
Almost have no review for this. Because it's not bad but it's also not good. It's really slow and painful and cringy and awkward and nothing really happens.
So how they were like bullying her in high school. I don't f****** understand because they weren't bullying her as far as the book describes it. She says they are bullying her and they kind of admitted to treating her badly but always see in detail of their behavior in high school was that it was just a bunch of miscommunications about who like to. And then instead of anybody saying oh I like you. Hey I'm actually serious. She just cries and then they ignore her for 10 years. So where she's getting this bullying from? I don't get it cuz that's not bullying sis.
Then the whole reunion thing was awkward as hell. I honestly wish I could never read that again. But then moving forward It was kind of nice seeing her with Austin. I like that. I like that. She kind of brought him out a little bit. I was okay with her and Gavin, that just seemed like a weird one to me. And then once we brought Vaughn into it it just got weird. Like don't get me wrong, sex scenes were pretty good but that was it.
I honestly don't understand how we can get three more books out of the series because to me this is it. There's no mafia no biker gang know nothing to me that would seem to drive a plot point along aside to the fact that they're trying to open a bar and she may or may not get pregnant at some point. Which I assume that she will get pregnant. And you know maybe other than the fact that they deal with all of their personal issues.
But I don't know how much more further we needed to go into anything because this book already felt like it gave you every annoying little detail of their lives. Like in most books when you read you kind of get like a little bit of a time jump or like you understand that time has passed. They got to know each other better.
Now was it overall bad? No, but it was slow. A really slow and that might suck for some people, but at least it was kind of a quick read. Depends on how fast you read I guess. I am curious for what happens in the next three books. I don't know if I'm going to actually read them or just find reviews and be satisfied with that.
But yeah this really kind of felt like someone who is still in high school hoping to hell the popular guy like them in 10 years. It also it kind of felt like it was written like 20 years ago because we're using terms like I'm going to holler at you and my man. It just made it kind of uncomfortable.
It's a bully RH story and I thought there would be some good groveling but NOPE. It started great with all of them thinking she was hot shit and she gave them the cold shoulder, only to get wasted and then just let them get away with everything. We even get some gas lighting for their bullying
Austin is the only one who actually apologizes to Nadia, respects her wishes, and actively wants to be in her life more than sex. But he's also a huge pushover and trying to justify his friends words/actions.
I don't get why Gavin was given a chance. He stalks and harasses her at work, intrudes on their date, and then just barges into Austin's room to initiate a threesome. And Nadia just let's it happen??
Vaughn is by far the worst character and after the way he was a huge ass to her still after everything, he still expected her to be with him like his friends. The bedroom scene, when Gaven mentions a way to apologize I was ok, but then he demanded stuff back and was super rough. And Nadia once again let it happen!! Like he has done nothing to earn that relationship and yet she "feels" something kinda for him but regrets it all after and loathes the idea of him around?? Wtf, then don't! She doesn't owe him anything and it just turned me off reading any further books
It felt more like Austin was really into her and the other guys were more upset because they weren't sought after than them having feelings for her. It was more their competitiveness than finding her attractive, enjoyable, smart, interesting, etc.
Nadia felt bullied and tormented all through high school by three jocks. Not much else was memorable except a few teachers she really liked. So when her best friend, Mara, tells her she bought them both tickets for their ten year reunion, seeing those teachers is her only reason for agreeing. She hopes to find her jocks have gotten bald and fat. Her hopes are dashed when Vaughn, Gavin and Austin show up even more gorgeous than they were back then. A bottle of rum seems like a good idea to get through the night, until she wakes up in Vaughn's bed the next morning with no memory of getting there. Her morning gets even better when Austin pulls up and offers her a ride home. Nadia continues to get mixed signals from her boys as Austin apologizes, Gavin decides to lunch every day at the diner where she waitresses and Vaughn buys the building where the used bookstore is, her other job, with plans to turn it into a sports bar. She still feels tormented, but in a different way. What's to become of Nadia and her boys? I loved this book! Great characters and a wonderfully believable story line. I can't wait for the next book! 4.35 stars The anxiety of attending a high school reunion, should I stay home or should I go? I guess it depends on your overall experience while you were there and in Nadia’s case, it was the bane of her existence as she had to contend with three bullies: Gavin, Vaughn and Austin. However, not one to be put off, Nadia’s best friend Mara coerces her into attending with her leaving Nadia without much of a choice. A lot will change in the span of ten years, and the three bullies have changed but will Nadia have a change of heart? As Austin comes right out and apologizes for his behavior, Gavin utilizes humor and Vaughn just moves in like a bull in a china shop. Regardless of how it happened, the four wind up in a relationship but can they move forward together or will it be too much and tear them all apart? This is a drama infused reverse harem read with some powerful chemistry. The beginning was a little slow but once the storyline kicked in, it was an entertaining read and I look forward to the next book. The bullies who made Nadia's high school years miserable are back 10 years later and decide to pursue her. Austin, Gavin and Vaughn are back in their hometown trying to figure out their next steps in life when Nadia shows up at the 10-year reunion. Austin and Gavin individually decide to pursue their high school crush that in true teenager fashion, they tormented when they were younger. Nadia is just trying to survive in two dead end jobs not sure where she is headed. She is understandable wary of the intention of the two guys and eventually gives in. I appreciate that Nadia and Austin establish a friendship first, he is a bit intense and reserved. Gavin is an easy going guy that smooths out the uneasiness between them and lightens up the dynamic between them all. Vaughn is brought into the mix at the end and although its not a cliff hanger, I am interested in seeing where all of this goes with them.

Oh, the heat is HOT, and the physical chemistry is captivating so be careful you may just get burned all the heat coming off these pages. There were some "oh no" "oh wow" " what the what" moments and add in uncanny mishaps, and shenanigans the good kind that makes you keep turning the pages till last page has been turned. Enemies to lovers (yep with an s) story the four of them met in high school and they were her tormentors. High school reunion brings them all back together full circle Gavin, Vaughn and Austin all bullied Naida in high school and her best friend makes her go to the reunion and we know it is a hot mess when the three of them see her and all want her but let’s back up just a little, they all wanted her in high school but where dumb jock jerks. Of course, they are still jerks who want her to forgive but not really sure how to go about getting her to forgive so they do the jerk thing and start stalking her sort of so will she forgive them and is their happiness in the works for the four of them?
This is an unexpected path for a bullying story to go, but an interesting concept. Nadia’s high school days had been a nightmare where she had to stay out of the sights of Austin, Gavin, and Vaughn who enjoyed nothing as much as tormenting her. She figured that graduation would mean never having to see them again. But when her friend bought them tickets for the 10-year reunion, she agreed to go, only because she wanted to see how some of her favorite teachers had been doing. IF she saw those three swaggering bullies, she had high hopes that they would be bald and beer-bellied by now, which is what they deserved!
Instead of finding the three of them as she envisioned, she simply managed to catch their attention. One by one, they seemed determined to squirm back into her life and she wasn’t quite sure how to figure this out. What were they doing? And where did they intend for it to lead?
the heroine is fucking exhausting. very much a glass-half-full kinda person. every interaction she has with someone has the undertone of her wanting to be anywhere else. every thought she has about herself is negative. it's "she's a mess" and "muddy eyes" and all that, and then we get a scene where she spends hours dressing up and getting her hair and makeup done, and she's like wow who's that pretty stranger?? so it takes HOURS of effort for her to feel okay with herself?? that's kinda shitty. how about she go to therapy, honestly. it felt a bit like the author's point of that scene was that you need makeup and to be attractive in order to be happy and love yourself. it was so fucking weird.
i didn't understand why the heroes wanted her. but tbh i hesitate to say "want", because they were kinda... wishy washy, i guess. i didn't feel their chemistry at all. it really did feel like they just bumped into someone from high school that they never really talked to. nothing more.

Nadia was convinced by Mara, her best friend from high school to go to their 10 year reunion. Mara brought her a dress so she could not back out. Nadia runs into the 3 boys that tormented her in high school. They have all three changed since high school, but she still wants nothing to do with them. Austin breaks through her defenses first by apologizing for the way he treated her. Soon they are dating. Next came Gavin, but he used humor to get her attention. Last was Price, he just barged in. to see how it all plays out you will need to read for yourself. Characters were very different and their personalities came through, with each chapter. I really enjoyed reading this book and can't wait for the next book.

This is a slow burn game of a reunion that a girl wanted to avoid after graduation, but Nadia always seems to get the short end of the stick. Between Vaughn, Gavin, and Austin’s constant criticism, taunting, and chance encounters; figuring out what exactly these never ending men want from her throughout the many obstacles at every level seems to be never ending. Between the apologies, snide remarks and constant banter, receiving Nadia’s good grace and acceptance is something any of these guys believe to be impossible. It’s an interesting read if you don’t mind a slow start and an even slower ending, but if you enjoy a semi-good story of former enemies attempting to befriend the girl nobody ever noticed, then here you are, give this one a chance.

A Great Start Nadia was only going to the school reunion because a best friend to talk to into it she had no real good memories of high school she had been bullied by three guys and going back there now wasn’t what she wanted. She just hoped she wouldn’t bump into them or if she did at least please let them be overweight ugly bald question But that wasn’t to be because Gavin, Austin and Vaughn what anything but sex on legs. Her only hopes to get through is alcohol. But maybe that wasn’t the best idea.
A great start Gavin Austin and Vaughan are going to do anything to make sure that Nadia is in their life. I quite enjoy this book there was possibly some bits that didn’t need to be there but I enjoyed the banter the attraction the chemistry. Roll on the next book.

I wanted to like this. There are some big flaws. I usually ignore words and punctuation and won't give a bad review bc of that. But in this book it seems the word "seated" was replaced with the word "seethed". That makes steamy scenes awkward. Also, MFC always seems bitchy. I honestly don't like her. One of the guys is stuck in frat boy mode. One is stuck in jealous jerk mode, and one is emotionally damaged that gave up the chance of an exclusive relationship without a second thought ....just pisses me off. She blames them for having more opportunity instead of talent ....she's just a jerk of a character and it made me done with the series. That and the few steamy scenes seemed super awkward. I don't like to cringe when that happens....plot has a chance but currently isn't working with how the characters are written.

Now I’m caught in and unfamiliar relationship with all three of them and am unsure exactly where it will go.
So So good. I loved this book so much, I loved the characters and I enjoyed the speed of the story. The smut and banter was amazing.
I have mixed feelings about this book. At first, I felt like the heroine was a whiny, self pitying mess. She had things to be salty about, but she was also her own worst enemy. However, she grew on me, and I got to see other facets to her personality that I like. I love the one hero. He seems like a genuinely nice beta mail. One hero I like, but I.also am very uncomfortable with the way he pushes and speaks to the heroine. The third hero has been mostly a jerk, but there are hints of something more positive underneath...maybe. Two of the main characters talk to the heroine in ways I am not always comfortable with, and she does call them on it but also keeps giving in. Mixed messages. So, this is a series I may or may not continue. I haven't decided. I think it's different and worth checking out. I am glad that it's not just sex.
Going After What They Want - Nadia was bullied most of her senior year in high school by Gavin, Austin and Vaughn, but everything seems to change when she met them again after the ten year high school reunion. As the relationship between the four of them changes as adults, she soon realises that she there is a bond between them that she just doesn’t understand, but agrees to explore it. This book is addictive, engaging, steamy and sets your heart on fire.
This is the first book I have read from Alyssa Clark and I can definitely say she blew my mind and left me wanting more. I read the except for the next book end of this book and I am really looking forward to reading book two.
I received an ARC of this book from Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
My 10 yr reunion (I didn't go) would have been nothing like this. Austin, Vaughn and Gavin - HS bullies (or were they) left a wounded girl behind as they all went off to college and into the NFL. Nadia has feeling alright for these 3 guys but it isn't love. Her BF Mara forces her to go to the reunion not expecting to see them or to be approached by them hungrily. Naddy, Naddy Light even Nads can't stand the sight of them but ends up in Vaughn's bed. Is it what she thinks when she wakes up next to Vaughn? Everyone has their secrets. Will the guys realize the trauma that Nadia felt in HS or will they continue the assault now that they are back in town for the reunion... There is a cliffhanger and the preview for book 2 - Austin... just added fuel to the fire.
I enjoyed reading this book until the last quarter of the book. SPOILERS..... She let Price get involved in the morning sex even though she detested him and after what he had said to her (the effort quote)? No way would her character have allowed him to touch her. I was disappointed the book had no conclusion. A few typos. However, the rest of the book's storyline flowed seamlessly. The characters were easy to relate to. The emotions readers can experience range from compassion, to comfort, all the way to anger. I wanted to jump into the pages and slap one character! It is a well written book, but needs additional books in the series to complete the story.
This was an interesting start to a series. Overall I enjoyed it, with a few minor issues. The word seethed being used in the wrong place as one such issue. Nadia felt she was bullied at school but the only back story we are given makes it sound like these guys actually liked her, but we’re too clueless to just say it. Fast forward 10 years and they all meet up at the high school reunion. This time they all notice Nadia, and she notices them. First with resentment and anger but as time moves on her feelings change. As for the intimate scenes they had some awkwardness due to the conversation, but I felt this was appropriate for the situation. I will continue on as I want to see these characters grow.
I absolutely loved this book. The character building is amazing and the storyline has me hook, line and sinker!
It’s a enemies to lovers, slow burn Reverse Harem, but with a really good plot. The spice doesn’t start till about 50% through the book.
Nadia runs into the 3 guys, that bullied her in high school at the 10 year school reunion. After the reunion the guys don’t leave town and she’s worried they will pick up making her life hell again.
Eventually Austin apologizes and they become friends, eventually becoming more. And when his friend Gavin wants to join in and he has no issues with sharing 🔥🥵🌶
However I felt when Vaughan joins the group it didn’t flow naturally and was forced - maybe because he’s still a dick. I’m hoping he becomes nicer as the series continues.
Nadia couldn't wait until school was over. Nadia was always getting notes with phone numbers on them. She never called the numbers. Nadia's best friend Mara talked her into going to there ten year high school reunion. Austin , Gavin and Vaughn were Nadia tormentors in high school. Nadia didn't like that fact that they all moved on and made something of themselves or so she thought. One thing is for sure that they all want Nadia in there lives now. I can't wait to read the second book. I enjoyed reading this book. I loved the storyline and plot. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was surprisingly good. I enjoy a reverse harem as much as the next girl and this one reminded me why. I love that it was an instant thing for the characters. For the most part the men had to work for it. I wish the final friend was forced to work harder to gain Nadias affection before he was invited into the the relationship but other than that no complaints. I am hoping we learn more background about the guys in the next book. Especially Austin. I want to know why he doesn’t speak to his sister and why they lived with his Nan and not their parents. Seems like it matters.
This is the first time I am reading a story by this author. I must say that I was very happy with her story. I was up so late reading this because I couldn't put the book down. I needed to know what happens next. Nadia was traumatized by high school. She really didn't want to go to her 10 yr reunion but she went with her BFF. What Nadia never expected was the 3 people who made her life hell in High School to be there. From that reunion her life is turn around by those 3. Austin, Gavin and Vaughan are going twist her life around. I can't wait to read he next piece of this series.
