They thought escaping the undead hordes was their ticket to freedom. They couldn't have been more wrong.

Now Wren and Robyn must face a new enemy and a kind of danger like no other they have encountered.

Their success means a chance of survival for everyone they care about. Their failure means the end of everything they have fought for.

For these two sisters time is running out fast and the sun is setting on the longest day of their lives.

Just one question still remains, will they get to see the dawn?

I was born and raised in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Wanting to escape life in a big city and concentrate more on working to live than living to work, I moved to the Outer Hebrides in the north-west of Scotland in 2004 and I have lived there ever since with my wife and dogs.

I write post-apocalyptic, sci-fi, dystopian and horror fiction. I’ve released fifty one books across six different series - Safe Haven, The End of Everything, Unsafe, Relentless, The Burning Tree and Scares in Scotland.

In addition, most of my titles are now available as audiobooks narrated by Kim Bretton, so if you’re one of the many people who struggle to find the time to read, you can listen on the go.

This is my favorite in this series so far. 1 more published in this series. Then on to Safe Haven. Side note: read the epilogue. That ending was epic, leaves you wanting more. Like Gimme Gimme...

The End of Everything: Book Nine by Christopher Artinian and narrated by Kim Bretton is another great one! Recommend if you’ve been following the series and if you haven’t, what are you waiting for? Seriously, go pick up book one. Fast-paced action, twists and turns, strong sibling relationship, and more is what awaits you.

What’s it about? Book nine picks up where the previous one left off with Wren, Mila, and Robyn trying to survive the events of Inverness and attempting to make their way back to Safe Haven. A new enemy, TrueBit, comes into play. This is another fast-paced story of survival, the sister’s love & banter, and struggles. Who to trust or not to trust? Run from or kill the zombies? To fall in love or risk any feelings? What weapon to pick? So many choices…
I’m loving the dynamic Mila brings to the group. Despite the girls being in the apocalypse, there’s always a couple comments of theirs that make me smile. Another plus? You get Chapter One of Safe Haven at the end and yes, you should totally be listening to it if you haven’t.

The narrator, Kim Bretton, was fantastic as usual. I have no complaints on her narrations and I can’t imagine anyone else voicing the sisters. Kim brings something special to the story and helps make the series stand out.

I highly recommend this series and Christopher’s other series. For those who haven’t listened to any of the books, clear your schedule when you do decide to listen because they are difficult to put down.

“Everybody had to peddle in something and hate was her preferred stock.”
“People always wanted to blame someone else for their own misfortune, and if somebody could offer them a reason for all the things that were bad in their lives, they would grasp on to it with both hands and never let go.”

Parental guidance/trigger warnings: As I’ve said before with these books, this is the zombie apocalypse with not nice people doing not nice things. If you can’t handle violence, death, or like things, this is probably not the book for you. This chapter of the sisters story might hit closer to home than previous books due to the TrueBrit group- politics, religion, extremists (I will leave it at that). Language used- Sx15 in German, Sx25 in English.

This book is another great addition to a great series by an amazing author! It grabs you from the very beginning and the action doesn't stop until the last page.

Wren and Robyn have rescued their friend, Mila, from her captivity as zombie fodder, but now they have to get out of Inverness and back to Safe Haven. Of course, this won't be easy. Along the way, they meet a handsome young man and Wren is immediately smitten. Will this be a good thing or will things go south?

They also come upon a troupe of actors living in the woods and find a few eccentric new friends there. I enjoyed the inclusion of a young man on the autism spectrum along with his sister. I always find it interesting to imagine how people who are differently abled might cope during a zombie apocalypse.

And don't forget Wren's faithful canine companion, Wolf, who really shines in this book. Mila is becoming one of my favorite characters and I especially love her German snarkiness since I lived in Germany for 2 years. She fits right in with Robyn and Wren's back and forth chatter.

This book will keep you on the edge of your seat as you travel along with the characters. You never know when one of the undead is going to jump out to grab you or when another villain is going to try to enslave you.

The author is able to write an action-packed horror story, while at the same time giving the characters depth and emotion. I found myself laughing and crying at times and this book is full of angst. I have finally decided the appeal of this genre: In the face of almost insurmountable odds, there is still hope.

Kim Bretton is one of my favorite narrators and she does a great job with this book (as always). Perfect pacing, great accents/voices and an all around wonderful performance. I don't know how many books Mr. Artinian has planned in the Safe Haven world, but I hope he doesn't stop anytime soon!

Again and again !!!

Wow.

Amazing is a small word when it comes to this creation, to the awesome imagination of the author Christopher Artinian.
Every one of his books left me dumbfounded, its like every word was much thought about before using it.
His amazing characters, each so different from the other but the author made sure that you get to know them all perfectly.
The story is such a beautiful creation that you get to know each city, each forest, each village, farm and all the country side in between.
The decision for using Kim Bretton as a narrator completed the masterpiece with her perfect voice for each character, when the tense hits out of nowhere she never misses a beat no matter what, and her accent package it all together into the perfect audiobooks.

Fully
And absolutely
Recommended to you all !

This series is so damn amazing! Just finished book 9 EOE about 10 mins ago! I laughed several times and I almost cried a few. So damn good! These girls are the absolute best. I want to be their friend. I want to be them!
Seriously this is one of the best series ever. The Safe Haven books are just as good, only more testosterone! Lol
Kim Bretton is the best voice for these series seriously couldn’t imagine anyone else narrating them. I kind of love her too! I wonder if the smart-aasness of the girls has made its way in to her own personality!
Artinian is a genius! So glad I found out about both of these series and I hope they NEVER end.

I will not put any spoilers in, but I must say, it has been a long time since I got so absorbed into a story like I did with this series of books. I honestly spent 3-5 days reading it all, almost completely living out of reality and completely absorbed into a new world for a bit. It has almost everything in it.

I have teared up in this more than I should have I think. Some of the characters that I thought would make it, didn't. The nature of man, the twist and turn of a political agenda. The separation, the new friends, the lies and cheats, the surprises.

I thoroughly enjoyed these books. What a talented author. I hope to read a book 10 soon.

Loved it.

Wow!

Wow! What an ending! I really enjoyed the new characters from the acting group, especially Chuck. Its nice to read a little bit of his backstory to understand how he was able to know what to do in the big fight. I also like the addition of a developmentally disabled character. Tommy's character shows how hard it could be to survive with a disabled siblings but he's also very smart and I think he might have more to say before this series ends. It would have been nice to know what happened to Rosie but I'll assume shes fighting along with Wren and Robin. Of course Wren and Robin are amazing as usual. Great book! I would recommend this series to anyone.

The sisters have been through a lot on their journey and just when they were hoping that they could find some respite from fighting zombies, a newer threat raises its head. This newer threat maybe an even bigger danger than everything else the girls have overcome. I enjoy this series very much. I'm interested in finding out what more is in store for the sisters and their newest companions. I recommend this series for the characters, the fast paced, non-ending action, and the humor that lives in the pages of these books. Kim Bretton's narration is superlative and she adds her own entertainment by her oration. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily left this review.

Wren, Robyn and Mila are now facing a much bigger and dangerous foe than they have faced before, well, except for the undead. Again the people they have saved unfortunately pay the price. When Wren finds out that Safe Haven is in danger because of her slip up, she will stop at nothing to get there and warn her friends and family. This new huge group of waste of skin survivors is totally terrifying and surviving could come with a huge cost. Another awesome character driven, emotionally charged tale in this series that I highly recommend you read.

Unputdownable page turning roller-coaster

This series is an incredible story following two sisters treking across Scotland from Edinburgh. Its a never ending roller-coaster of events. Just when you think it's safe to breathe all hell let's loose again.
I found this author after reading the burning tree series which is absolutely mindblowing. I then read Safe Haven & The end of everything. This guy knows how to write & you have no choice but to get sucked into this unputdownable page turning nightmare.

Brilliant

Another fantastic book, this story just keeps giving. The characters are absolutely brilliant and the banter between the girls is hilarious. Mila is fast becoming a firm favourite with her bluntness and hilarious comebacks. This book is action packed and literally kept me in the edge of my seat throughout. Can’t wait to see how the story unfolds. Definitely a must read

Roller Coaster Ride

This series just gets better and better. Wren, Bobbi and Mila have wrecked havoc on a new enemy . This enemy is now out for revenge its going to be really interesting to see how all this pans out. How are Mike and the rest of Safe Haven going to take them bringing a new enemy to their door? I am really looking forward to the next book in the Safe Haven/ End of everything saga

Love the adventure of Wren & Robyn!

Two girls who have had to grow up much too soon. In the world before the virus, they had the usual sibling rivalries, but they have had to put them aside and grow up. As much as they have been challenged by the virus, their relationship has developed, revealing how much they love each other. It's a shame that it took the "end of everything" to make it happen. I love reading Artinian !!!

Fantastic

Wow, another action packed instalment to the series. You are thrown right into it from the very first page.

I love the characters in this series. I am devoted to their cause.

If you haven’t started this series of books you must, but only when you have a few weeks free because once you pick them up you will not be putting them down, until you’ve finished all books!

Love this series

So glad I found this series, between these and the safe haven series they have kept me occupied for the last few weeks. I really love the characters the places they visit. These books could just keep on going and I would keep reading. The enemies are well thought out. The books have a good balance of dialogue and action allowing us readers to get swept up in the story and hoping our fav characters make it out safe

Wow

Talk about taking it up a notch! With his usual narrative descriptive style Christopher Artinian’s eagerly awaited Book 9 ramps up the pressure on the 3 main protagonists who make a powerful new enemy, some new friends, and probably gives them trust issues with men for life! Well worth the wait.

The way the author wrote about each character, you feel like you really know them. Would highly recommend this series of books if you are looking for an amazing set of books to read

16 read and 5 to go

I would suggest reading these in the order that the author recommends. Lots of great charachters and lots of action. Surprisingly, even with so many books and characters, it's pretty easy to track. However, with 5 books left, I'm wondering how many different battles the author can come up. Hoping for a somewhat happy ending.

Almost The End

Wren, Robin and Mila were fighting for their lives out there. Well let's not forget Wolf then add Chuck in the mix. The rest of them took off when it was time to take a stand. Everyone can't survive the apocalypse. This was good. The action was nonstop and i'm left still wanting more. They're on their way to Safe Haven.

Another Edge of Tour Seat Great Read!

The worst thing about reading a book as your author is writing the series? The fact that once you’ve finished the latest book you’ve then got to wait until the next book is written.
