This book has been very practical and provide really good frameworks and tools to make meetings successful in a corporate both physical and virtual setting. Especially the 4D framework is very well crafted and linked to the subject of holding meeting. It's intuitive, inclusive and help engage the audience from the start. I also like the summaries at the end which is really useful to retain the knowledge. Fantastic book for all especially who are involved in projects.
Now that I’ve finished this book about how to structure your meetings, I notice how well-structured the book is. Every chapter and section tells you what it’s going to be about, and at the end of chapter, there’s a summary in a table. And the content itself is pretty useful advice, too.
If you have any level of emotional intelligence or hosted a meeting before then this is not worth reading. If you wanted a complete beginners guide to hosting meetings then sure!
Essentially, the TLDR is: Have a purpose to your meeting, create a safe space for discussion, don’t have pointless meetings. This is all wrapped up in a classic office-talk superfluous model known as the ‘4Ds Model,’ which is the binding glue of this book.
Le contenu de ce livre est incroyablement inutile. Pour de meilleurs résultats, utilisez un moteur d'intelligence artificielle et posez la question : Quelles sont les règles pour mener une réunion efficace?
