M/F Alpha Omega Romance.

Josie knew that there were consequences for taking a stand against the powers that be, but she never imagined the punishment would be being thrown to the alphas.

Welcome to the Boundarylands. It's where they are—the Alphas. They keep to themselves in the wilderness, and beta civilization knows to keep its distance—especially beta women…for fear they may not be a beta after all. Omegas may be rare, but every woman knows their fates are hellish—held captive, broken, mated, knotted, and bred.

Activist Josie Price has been a thorn in the beta government's side for too long. After her arrest, she's tested, and her dormant omega nature is revealed. Now, the beta authorities finally have their solution—toss her over the border into the Boundarylands and let the alphas have at her.

But when Josie lands at the feet of a towering beast named Knox, she soon discovers that the alphas aren't exactly the feral monsters she's been taught to fear. Knox might be dangerous and massive, but the wild charm in his eyes calls to her…a call she's powerless to refuse.

And when Josie finally gives in to the pull of her omega nature, everything changes. There's no way of knowing if Knox will be her salvation or her doom, but one thing is certain…the alpha is her destiny.

Knox is the twelfth book in The Boundaryland Omegaverse, a hot new ABO romance series featuring knotting, heats, and possession. Wear gloves, cause this sh*t is hot.

Knox de Callie Rhodes serie The Boundarylands libro 12

Argumento:

Josie sabía que habría consecuencias por tomar una posición contra las autoridades, pero nunca imaginó que el castigo sería ser arrojada a los alfas.

Bienvenido a Boundarylands.

Man, do I love this series!
Josie and Knox has this slow burning inferno building between them, yet they keep hands off, barely, until Josie can go expose the secret Gov't plot against the alphas.
This was a good one. They were stuck together, hands off, which allowed them to get to know each other and have their love grow organically without being mated first.
Knox was such a good guy and Josie knew she had to fight for the alphas and innocent women.
I just love these Alphas! I can't wait for the next one!!

An excellent m/f omegaverse short romance.

This novel was by far the best in the series so far. The hero was deliciously alpha, and the heroine was strong and passionate, with an admirable mission to take action and make the world a better place. I loved the fact that in this book, falling in love happened before the heroine was awakened to her omega nature. I am really liking the direction that this series is going in. The only flaw I found here was that the ending was a little abrupt. However, I am a fan of epilogues, so mileage may vary there.

A little bit long winded..

I do so enjoy this series, and we're in a way getting to know more about what's going on with the closure of borders and what the new Beta secret government has been up to, but this edition i found a bit disappointing.
It was a bit repetitive and I found myself turning pages without really taking much in.

It's always nice to see other Omegas though. :)

I wanted to like this story more because it actually had a willing omega. But this story kinda dragged in the beginning. Josie wanted to bring awareness to the forced sterilization and testing of dormant omegas. Her and Knox were adamant about her remaining a beta, so she could go back home. I wish we had more story of after she became an omega. But overall, a good story and it did further the plot of Alpha Control group that sent her there.

Wow 🥰 I think this one is my favorite in the series! It was really good!

Meet Knox, alpha badass. He is laid back, funny, smart and all wrapped up in alpha dominance and toughness. He likes to get in trouble, often causes it. He doesn't have a good reputation among his brothers. He has his own demons, he doesn't want people counting on him, avoiding any kind of commitments.

Josie, an activist fighting for women's rights. She is smart, strong, courageous, beautiful, independent, open-minded and the list of compliments could continue for a long time. 😂 A great character!

Josie finds herself in trouble in the Boundarylands and Knox is there offering to help her. They start as friends, but the attraction between them is unstoppable. They managed to keep their wits even when their attraction was undeniable and that is something I really liked. They wanted each other but they also were responsible, thinking of consequences and making the best decision in though moments. Well, I guess, with great suffering comes great reward. 😁

I enjoyed this story and can't wait for the next to come! ♥️

My favorite of the series…

(Possible spoilers)

This was my favorite of the series. I loved that the main characters became friends first.

He found her when she was dumped in chains in the Alpha Territory by corrupt government Beta’s, and despite himself, helped her. He knew what she was and explained her true nature to her. They agreed to keep their distance, but they couldn’t stop their growing feelings. As much as a jerk as he seemed in other books, we learned where that attitude came from in this one. The FMC was strong, smart, open-minded and genuine without being bitchy. She didn’t live in denial of her circumstances, or waste time fighting the people helping her. This is the type of FMC that I love and few authors write, and even better, the H actively appreciated those qualities in her. I also loved that he cared about her enough to let her go do what she needed to do, even though it hurt and he expected she wouldn’t return. I especially loved that it was her choice to return to him and to become what she was meant to become, Knox’s Omega.

Emotional and Capitivating

I’ve read this entire series in less than 6 days! Could not put a single book down!

Starting with Kian I have enjoyed each book with the feisty Omegas, the smoldering Alphas and the creative plots, suspense, romance and... friction ;)

These last 3 (so far), Gray, Ryder and Knox, have been the most emotional and moving of the series so far, in my most humble opinion. Not that any of the others have let me down in any way at all.

This particular installment with Knox and Josie had the push and pull that just had my heart strings pulled and wound up so tight I could have knocked an arrow loose from them. Gave me all the feels. Had to grab a tissue at one point; no worries there is definitely a HEA.

My highest recommendation is to start at the beginning of the series so you can follow along the sub plots properly. Cassie fails to disappoint with this novel and I’m sincerely looking forward to the next!!

Knox and Josie

I enjoyed this book. It’s a little different than the others in that Knox and Josie knew she was a dormant omega and literally chose not to turn her. The trials and tribulations of this conscious decision truly gets to them at times.

But you know, it’s the Boundarylands, and to stay, every girl is converted in the end and lives happily ever after with her Alpha. In this book, though, Josie takes a different road than the other women have travelled. Hopefully, it will lead to some interesting changes with Alpha-Beta relations in future books

As always, I look forward to the next book in this series. While these books are definitely in an Omegaverse genre, the Alphas are wonderful human beings, and becoming one of their Omegas seems like it could be a nice life...if they could just have electricity!

I’m tapping out.

I don’t know why I’m still reading this series to be honest. The prose is rambling and repetitive.

In fact, the non-dialogue could be skipped and nothing would be missed cuz everything is said 3x minimum.

This particular story is ridiculously slow and the spice? Where is it? 90%. No thanks.

While the beginning novels were stuffed (ending at 82%), this one isn’t.

It also introduces plot lines and intrigue for no reason at all. Nothing ever gets built on. What’s the point of world-building if there’s no actual building?

Josie is some activist that’s a dormant omega. Big surprise.
Knox saves her. Big surprise.
They don’t touch for 99% of the novel.
Then they do and tada! The end.

So much lost potential.

A bit different

This book was a bit different. Josie was arrested and taken to the Boundarylands in order for the Alpha Divisiom to get rid of someone who is a lead protester of certain laws. They believe that if they discredit her than they can push their agenda through.
Knox hears a helicopter and finds a woman in her pj's, standing in the middle of the road, freezing because of the snow and ice that she is standing on. He helps her but he in no way wants an omega.
The difference in this book is the way that they fight to NOT touch each other.
The ending was satisfying. And I can't wait to see how the Alphas have to fight against the beta world next.

Well, what do we have here? A beautiful cherry blonde with emerald green eyes that is young and unmarred with facial scars or wrinkles like the previous brunettes in the series. She doesn't come from the gutters, actually, she is quite famous. Knox is what I would call a repented alpha that has no desire to change his solitary lifestyle. Funny how almost all the men in this series are brunettes with dark features and their love interest are blondes or redheads. Naturally, if they have a son, it will be a brunette and if they had a daughter, it will be a blonde; because that's just how genetics work. lol

So maybe it is true? You don't have to touch to know your Omega!

This Alpha Omega story just made me fall in love withthe series all over again. I really hope Callie Rhodes keep writing because I never know what I'm going to read or who I'm going to meet when I start a book. Knox & Josie was so different I read it in one sitting, I had to know that they had an HEA! I also like the fact that they are finding more evidence about the Alpha/Omega relationship. This just proves that what Ryder felt for Mari could have been true in that he felt drawn to her before he touched her.

SLOW BURN!

The story building is incredible. I've red all the other Boundrylands stories; and while they all are part of a "bigger picture", this one builds so much on the others.

Also, watching the H and h relationship evolve is wonderful. This wasn't a "WHAM BAM THANK YOU MA'AM" right out the gate. This was a slow build that kept you turning the page to find out what happens.

It's GOOD!

ok

but as a rule,i don't enjoy books with an agenda,so i did not enjoy her activist status. i read for entertainment, not to be presented with someone's world views. and i especially expect my superhuman people fictionally uber men books to not try to present me with issues from reality. that being said,i docked stars for that, but still a decent enough read, though i still have major issues with the series. 13 down, one to go.

Nice change of pace but wanted more subplot

What happened at the hearings? What were the outcomes? How could she prove the beta plan? She didn’t record a confession! The primary love interest was good. It was drawn out since they knew not to touch, but you got to see them interact and grow to be a couple. It’s just that the subplot is more interesting than the main plot and I want more of it.

(4 ⭐️) This is definitely my favorite I’ve read from the series so far!! Josie and Knox were both such interesting characters and I loved their more “slow burn” (in comparison to other couples in the series) development from enemies to friends to lovers. Josie is also an activist and the plot surrounding that was a great touch. Overall, a super fun read that just got me out of a really bad reading slump.

HEA
Series, read in order

I enjoyed this book more than the last two. The unawakened omega worked hard most of her life to fight for the rights of women. She made enough noise that the gvnmnt basically threw her over the border to shut her up. Knox did everything he could to give her a chance to return, even when it broke his heart to see her leave. But she had a job to do, and he wouldn't take that from her.

The typos are getting more frequent, missing words and out of place order as well.

I really liked this one! I think because it was actually kind of a slow burn which is rare in the omegaverse. I liked how the hero and heroine got to know one another! And that the heroine stuck to her goals. Sure it was off-page because the continued narrative of boundarylands vs beta is not as important as the love story but I did like that she went back to testify.

Excellent series!

Josie is dropped off in the Boundarylands and Knox helps her. He refuses to to have an Omega and she wants to fight for women in the beta world. This is a little different because Josie does go back to the beta world. Don't worry there is an amazing HEA. These should be read in order.

Such a beautiful universe

It's the beauty of the Pacific Northwest surrounded by hot romance. My favorite line in this book, "Nothing could be different from that life from this place, with its towering trees, birds flying in formation overhead, the eyes of curious creatures peering out from the forest, the sun glinting off the snowy peaks of the mountains in the distance."

After 12 books to the series, you already know what to expect. This was fast and easy to read, especially if you don't have long hours to fully enjoy a lengthy novel. Great for a weekday night read, and hello~~ it's omegaverse, although as usual Rhodes's story only scratches the surface of the alpha-omega relationship. Otherwise, this one was cute and no insta-love.

As with all the Boundarylands books this one was a bit off the norm, I loved it. More sexual tension and unfulfilled desire. How can I stand it!!!! If you haven't read any of Callie Rhodes Boundarylands books. You can get them all at Amazon Prime for free. Can't wait for the next book..

Slow burn

Hot, sweet slow burn. Everything you’d expect in this alpha omega story. Hot bachelor alpha with a chip on his shoulder and a strong willed feminist beta. What you don’t expect is the instant intellectual connection and mutual respect. I loved this short little read.

These books are such a fun short read. Each book covers one couple and each are different. They all follow the same arch of the beta world working against the boundary lands.

I love this series and have enjoyed each and every book so far. There are a couple that do stand out and this was one. I felt you really got to see a tender side to Knox that was difficult for him to show. I highly recommend this book!! I’d give it 10 stars if I could.

Boundarylands

I loved it! I've enjoyed every single one of these books but this one was very unique compared to some of the others. I don't want to spoil the surprise, so I won't say how but it was a great change of pace. Not to mention sticking it to the betas!

Best book of the series so far for sure. I really liked how the hero showed respect for the heroine’s autonomy and didn’t put his desires first. 👏👏👏
The heroine was clever and strong too. Good ending.
