I have to agree with the blurb by Jo Brand on the back: "I was expecting this to make my brain hurt, but I was immediately hooked on it..." This book eloquently clears up some of the most pervasive misconceptions about mental illness and discusses how there remains many unknowns in medicine because human nature is elusive in nature.
I read two chapters of this and then realised I live it every day and don’t need somebody to tell me his perceptions of someone else experiencing it. Sometimes you do need to just read something not about your own life.
