Okay, okay, I need a moment... actually, I need more than a moment because I have the BIGGEST book hangover after reading this!
Heather has created the PERFECT alpha here! Carlos is EVERYTHING!
I devoured this story with its twists and turns and my need to see if the couple got their HEA.

Another great book from Heather! This book definitely has a lot of sizzling moments and the chemistry between Carlos and Sophie was off the roof!! This was definitely a newish genre for me as it had of a more dark, mafia, age gap romance feel to it, with a bit of BDSM.
I found Sophie's character very similar to mine in terms of how naive and shy she was in the beginning and how her personality evolved throughout the book! Carlos definitely opened her up to stand her ground more up to her brother and family.
Carlos was definitely HOT! I mean there is no other way to describe him! He was a sexy, Italian man. His personality was definitely what got me. His demeanor and the way he treated Sophie and other people. It was just amazing, definitely would want to have someone like him as your boyfriend.
I also loved reading about Sophie and her interaction with Jess, Cassidy and Faith. You can definitely see the different personalities of the girls!
If you love an age gap/mafia/dark romance with a sexy man - then I definitely recommend this one.

Gahhh, I love Sophie and Carlos's story so much .
This seriously is a brilliant read .
The story never has a dull moment. You will not only be hooked on the story , but you will also get hooked on all of the characters.
I can't tell you how many times I wanted to slap Carlos, he is an arrogant man , but that is how he's been brought up .
He knows that he will be in charge of their part of the mafia when his father passed , it's what he was born to do .
Family is everything, nothing is more important than family .... Until he meets Sophie.
Sophie is strong and independent, but she is always overlooked by her family when it comes to family business. Little do they know that Sophie knows way more than they think she does.

Carlos and Sophie, what a story. Surely those who have already read the previous books of HL Packer, already know that once the first page is turned, the reader is absorbed in a world full of lust, intrigue, and curiosity. As always, also this time, HL Packer did not disappoint us, creating for us a well-written and detailed story to the right point, to make us fall in love with the characters. Carlos and Sophie, they knew each other from a very young age thanks to the affairs that bind their fathers, but he living in Italy with his family and she in London, causes the two to move away. When Carlos goes looking for her, trying not only to conquer her but also to work with her, as she is an event planner, the story comes to life. You won't be disappointed, it was a great read and I recommend it.

This is the 3rd book in this amazing series and is Carlos and Sophie’s story. Carlos is arrogant, mysterious, and possessive, while Sophie is strong and independent. To Carlos family is everything, and Sophie has spent her life being overlooked by family business, but she knows more than they give her credit for, and due to their father’s business dealing they have known each other since childhood but were separated as he lived in Italy and she in London. Fate has destined these two to be together, and Carlos will do anything for her. This is a well written intriguing story which has an in-depth storyline, and with family, loyalty, emotions, and love. I was hooked throughout this riveting page turner, and I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

The Shadow was a story that I never truly saw coming whatsoever, so man was I delighted to have such a good time with it. I don't mean that like it was all tip toeing through the tulips, but my dark & twisty soul was singing. Sophie is a smart & strong girl whose family overlooks her on a regular basis. Carlos is a man who is going to take over his crime family when his dad is gone. They've known each other for a long time, but due to him living in Italy while she was in London, they drifted apart. Now he's come back for her, and it doesn't take long at all to see they're perfect for each other, but life isn't always that easy. Luckily for them, fate is involved so it's only a matter of time, especially since the fierce Carlos would do anything for her. I promise you really want to see how it all pans out so you know what to do! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

There is never has a dull moment in this story. You will get hooked within the book along with the characters too. They knew each other from a very young age. Carlos is arrogant, mysterious, and possessive. While Sophie is strong and independent. You will be absorbed in a world full of lust, intrigue, and curiosity. Just like how I was. There are so many twists and turns in this book. What happens when fate has you destined to be together? If you love to read about second chance romance, then this is perfect for you. Loved it. I've volunteered to review this book for United Indie book Blog. This is the third book in the Fated series. This is Sophie and Carlos's story. There is never has a dull moment in this story. You will get hooked within the book along with the characters too. They knew each other from a very young age. Carlos is arrogant, mysterious, and possessive. While Sophie is strong and independent. You will be absorbed in a world full of lust, intrigue, and curiosity. Just like how I was. There are so many twists and turns in this book. What happens when fate has you destined to be together? If you love to read about second chance romance, then this is perfect for you. Highly recommend this book and the series. Keep up the great work. Can't wait to read more from this author.

Wow, what a book hangover, Heather has done it again. The perfect alpha, Carlos is now my favourite.
There are so many twists and turns in Carlos and Sophie's story, it had me hooked from the start.
I don't want to give the story away as it is best experienced Carlos first hand, with his arrogance at times. Along with all of the other characters.
Highly recommend this book and the series and the amazing author.

I enjoyed this SO much better than bk1. Carlos is intense and together with Sophie they are 🔥 and I loved them immensely

This is book 3 in The Fated Series by HL Packer and I would highly recommend reading them in order but definitely reading them!
This time is the story of Sophie and Carlos who we have met in the last book.
Although Sophie has been brought up in a world she knows and understands she is still quiet and nieve when it comes to some things. So when Carlos presents himself she's not quite sure what she's in for.
Carlos is taking over the family business for his father.. hes dark.. hes twisted and protects what's his at all costs.
I love these guys together.. the chemistry was off the charts for them.. and I think he's just what Sophie needs in her life.
Full of twists, turns, bumps and steaminess this story has it all.
Looking forward to reading book 4 of the series.
