Anatoly Vasilievich Mityaev. Soviet and Russian writer, screenwriter, executive secretary of the children's newspaper Pionerskaya Pravda ( 1950 - 1960 ), editor-in-chief of the children's magazine Murzilka "(1960- 1974 ), editor in chief of the studio" Soyuzmultfilm ".

After graduating from the 9th grade of school number 1 in the village of Klyazma near Moscow , he applied to the forestry technical school ( MGUL[ specify ] ). But the war began.

In the summer of 1942 he signed up as a volunteer, on the third day of his stay in the army he was in battle. He served as a gun number in the 513th Separate Guards Mortar Division. He held the position of assistant driver of the Park Division of the 9th Guards Mortar Brigade of the 3rd Belorussian Front . At the end of the war he entered the mortar school. Demobilized in 1947.

He published since 1947, began as a journalist for a district newspaper. From 1950 to 1960, Anatoly Mityaev was the executive secretary of the Pionerskaya Pravda newspaper, and then, from 1960 to 1974, the editor-in-chief of the Murzilka children's magazine.
