Loved It!!

Ravage is the VP of the Kings of Retribution MC had at one time believed he had found the love of his life. The same day he was ready to propose to her her father had made a deal with a seriously crazy biker by the name of Scar. Her life was outrageously abusive. For ten years she lived this way only hoping for her life to end until her sister came to the rescue. That’s when she meets up with Ravage again but she is nothing like the woman he once loved.

I really fell for the characters in this book and the action, love and survival is amazing. What’s not to love about Ravage because at some point he gives Marisole an Amazon gift card so she can buy MC books!! Lol I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next book in this series.

You Never Forget Your First Love
“Wait on Me,” Book 2 in Elizabeth Knox’s Knights of Retribution MC series, is edgy, gritty, and dark, but at its heart is a love story about second chances. Club VP Ravage, devastated when his love walks away from him on the night of his marriage proposal, has guarded his heart and steered clear of emotional entanglements for more than a decade. That is, until he is suddenly faced with the shell of a woman whom he once thought was the love of his life. Marisole, having been forced into an arranged marriage by her thug of a father, has lived her own personal kind of hell ever since she left her young heart behind with Ravage. There is so much going on between these two, and the novella addresses much of it. The story held me captive, and I feel as if I went through each twist and turn right along with them. My one issue with the story was that it felt a little bit...incomplete, I suppose. Don’t get me wrong: the epilogue ties it up in a bow. However, it just feels like there was something missing toward the end. Aside from that, though, it is a really good, quick read with lots of steamy chemistry and more than a few aww moments. I kinda love Ravage’s soft side that is such a contrast to his club demeanor. Looking forward to the next one in the lineup!

Ms. Hart brings us into book three in the Heroes of Daisy Hills series. This one you just want to grab and hug him and give him all the love that you might muster up. It is a love gone wrong story that has the potential for a second chance. You will cry your heart out and also want to kill a few of the characters. There are going to not want to put this story down just to see how each of these two lives go on for years while they are separated. So be prepared for your emotions to bring you to the edge.

Wait on Me Knights of Retribution MC#2 by Elizabeth Knox is a highly emotional, gut wrenching story that will have you in tears throughout this brutally frank story about the abuse and torture one woman had to live through and the one man she left 10 years earlier who will help this broken addict and bring her back to the living. Ravage VP of the Knights of Retribution MC is the perfect man for this job as his heart has been hardened and he is devoid of any kind of emotion by the loss of the woman he loved which haunts him still. Marisole loved Ravage with all her heart, but when her father informed her she is to marry another MC President she at first fights him only to be told he will kill Ravage if she refuses. Marisol for the past 10 years has been living a life of hell with her husband Scar, President of The Beasts of Brutality MC who beats and tortures her, has her hooked on heroin so she won't leave him. With all of the pain and abuse, this broken woman, is repeatedly raped by him and his men. Just wanting to die, not even an attempt to kill herself is enough to get away from him. This story will have you on edge from beginning to end with many characters from previous books making an appearance especially Boss & Cowboy and their daughter Destiny from Iron Vex. Wait for Me is one story that should not be overlooked in the Knight of Retribution Series, this is a must read, one that I highly recommend. Thank you Elizabeth Knox for telling this heartbreaking story of love, hope and redemption between Ravage and Marisole. Can't wait for the next book in this thrilling series!

Ravage is VP in the Knights of Retribution MC. He's on a mission to avenge a little girl and help his club recover from their recent troubles, unaware his world is about to take turn. Ten years ago the woman of his dreams broke his heart but he never forgot about her. She's back and he realizes he never stopped loving her.

Marisole Ramirez loved Ravage but when she brought him home to her father she was forced to break things off and enter into an arranged marriage to Scar, the President of the Beasts of Brutality MC. She's been living a nightmare of abuse, rape and drugs for the last nine years and isn't sure how much longer she can go on.

When Fate wants two people to be together she'll work her magic, even in the biker world. This is a second chance romance done MC style. Marisole was living a horrific life and Knox pulls no punches describing her situation before taking us on Mirasole's path to healing and a second chance with Ravage.

Quick read with a few quick cameos from other clubs, while we follow Marisole and Ravage's story. There's a lot of focus on the bad times, I wish the author had giving me more of the good and getting better times.

This story includes scenes that may be difficult for some readers due to violence, abuse and sexual practices, read at your own discretion.

Life does not always end up being how we plan it. If things had gone the way Marisol had planned, then she wouldn't be forced into a marriage she didn't want with a monster like Scar. She wouldn't be addicted to heroin, either... She'd be with the man she loved, the man she broke.

Ravage doesn't let many people close to him. The man he used to be isn't alive anymore, he died in Mexico at the hands of Marisol. So when she shows up 10 years later in Delaware, something deep down inside of him cracks apart. He'd still do anything for his Marisol, even drag her unwillingly through sobriety. Because men like him don't get second chances, and Marisol never had a first one.

I have to say that this book was slightly confusing at the beginning. I definitely recommend reading Axel and Rosa's book before treading into this deep ocean. While I enjoyed the story here, not knowing the history of Rage and the Reaper's Rejects ( which happened earlier in the first several Reaper's Rejects books) can cause even more confusion.

This is another great addition to the world of the Knights of Retribution MC and the Reaper's Rejects MC. You won't regret it.

Wow! Ms Knox leaves us hanging again. A sweet 2nd chance romance (well, sweet between Ravage & Marisole, anyway. Be advised, there's some very dark elements to this story) Marisole has been through some really dark and awful things for the past 10 years after her father Rafael Ramirez made an alliance with Rage (a total tip of the pen to Elizabeth Knox for bringing back 2 horrible villains as a blast from the past!!!). Rosa (Marisole's half-sister, from Axel) and the Reapers Rejects swoop in to rescue Marisole from the terror that is her life. Ravage and Marisole re-discover a long-lost love and grow together as Marisole heals and recovers. It's the Epilogue that totally gets me, though. We know that Scar has been dealt with, but we don't know who or how this was done. Now I can't wait for book 5 in this series to be released so I can find out what happened. There's also a cameo appearance by Ion Petrov (from Promised) and Vera (from Love Is War) and Boss & Cowboy (from Bossed Up). I just love how Elizabeth Knox weaves so many breadcrumbs to her other stories into her new tales. Great job!

Outstanding MC read and great addition to the Knights of Retribution MC series. The author has given us a well written, exciting storyline containing suspense, thrills and romance. Old issues are resolved as new threats to the club become known. Issues that not only affect the club but also affect a couple of the members on a very personal level.

Ravage and Marisole were young lovers. But when she calls it off for apparently no real reason, Ravage is devastated. Now years later, he is a hardened man who is closed off to personal relationships. This void makes him perfect for his VP job. But when Marisole walks back into his life, needing the club's help, she is nothing like the woman he knew. Her body has taken years of abuse and her spirit is broken. Ravage is there to help but at what cost? She’s not only the wife of a rival club’s Prez, she sparks feelings Ravage hasn’t felt in 10 long years.

I can’t recommend “Wait on Me” and the Knights of Retribution series enough. Grab them up ASAP, you won’t regret it. As for this reader, I can’t wait to see what happens next.

I am so glad Knox wrote this book! I should say, I like the way she wrote it. It was a unique way that made the story more impactful.
Marisole has always been this enigma for me. Her father arranges for her to marry Scar, who readers know is not the biggest fan of women. Marisole breaks up with Ravage and does as her father asks. Readers will get the answers they are seeking regarding this, and will see Marisole's true self. She remains a mystery to me because she appears to be aloof, like she doesn't know herself or her feelings.
Ravage is this sexy alpha with a quiet calm. He knows what he is capable of, and he is not afraid to get his hands dirty. When he sees Marisole after ten years, old feelings resurface. The problem is, she is a shell of the woman he loves.
Readers will love this one! It has all the nasty, gritty details that require the truth, honesty, and humility from bother Ravage and Marisole. I recommend this book!!!!!

Ravage met Marisole when he was ten years younger, they were in love and he was planning on asking her father for her hand when they went to Mexico on vacation...but her father was Rafael Ramirez and he had already planned to marry Marisole off to a protégé, Scar of the Beasts of Brutality M/C...so she told Ravage she couldn't to marry him to save his life, beginning her own ten years of abuse and drug addiction by a sadistic man...She has a sister Rosa who is the Ol' Lady of Axel of the Reapers Rejects M/C. She contacted Marisole to try to get her away from Scar...they were in Lewes Delaware with friends from the Knights of Retribution.,,but they find she is addicted to heroin and needs to get clean when she is rescued from Scar's club...Ravage almost doesn't recognize the woman who tore out his heart...but you will need to read the story to see what happens...I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Wow. Wow! Wow! This book is Spectacular! The characters and storyline are right on point. Once you start it. You will not want to put it down. The emotions are intense, gritty, raw, and not for the faint of heart. You will be reading and you will not want to be disturbed. There are times that you will be crying,wanting to scream at the characters and other times you will be sorely tempted to throw your kindle. So I prepare with tissues, a pillow and something nice and cold to drink. As you read you wil get to see their inner most feelings and demons. This is a second chance for Marisole and Ravage. Will they be able to get through the past wrongs and lies? Can their past be put in perspective and move forward from now? Is a HEA possible? Check this book out and see what you think. I loved this book and the series. It is well writtem and stays with you after you have read the last word. I can not wait for the next book!

Let's meet Ravage and Marisole. Now these two have a past that ended in a not so good way. It was not a terrible ending but hearts breaking. This was just the beginning of Marisoles nightmare. If she had known what she was in for she may have chosen differently. Her story is harsh and gut wrenching. She is literally living in hell until her sister comes for her. Ravage is with the Knights of Retribution and just closed himself off since the devastating night. That is til she shows up at his clubhouse. Well Reapers Rejects are allies with the Knights of Retribution and they brought Marisole there for help. So will Marisole accept the help she needs and will Ravage be there for her. This story will make your eyes sting and throat burn. It will gut you so be prepared if you have triggers. We do get a happily ever after for these two.

I absolutely loved reading this book.
The story was very well written and emotional. It has some triggers for some people.
Ravage is the VP for the Knights of Retribution MC.
Marisole is the daughter of Rafael Ramirez.
She is also Ravage's ex sweetheart.
Before her father was killed he arranged a marriage between her and a member of the Beasts of Brutality MC.
Marisole gets hooked on heroin. She finds out she has a half sister, Rosa and a half brother, Ricardo. Rosa is Axel's old lady from the Reapers Rejects MC in Montana.
Rosa comes to Delaware and rescues Marisole and takes her to the Knights clubhouse.
Ravage comes back from a job and finds Mari and helps her get clean. They reconnect and admit they never stopped loving each other.

Savage and Marisol dated in high school and both loved each other and Savage was ready to propose. On a trip to Mexico to visit her father, he planned to ask for his permission. What he wasn’t expecting was for her to break up with him and break his heart. Now 10 years later, he is face to face with her in his compound, but it’s a different woman standing before him thin, withdrawn, with bruises and track marks on her body. A heroin addict. .Her father had arranged for her to marry an alliance’s protege, Scar, and her life has been nothing but a nightmare at his hands. Good storyline that is emotional, dark and intense. The characters were believable and I loved Savage’s tender side with Marisol. Good read.

This is the 2nd book in this amazing series and is Ravage and Marisol’s story. Ravage is the VP if his MC, and always knew that the love of his life IS Marisol, who is the light to his darkness. On the day that Ravage was going to propose to Marisol, her father had made a deal of an arranged marriage to a rival MC, which had her living a life of unimaginable abuse for the past 10-years. When Marisol’s sister comes to her rescue she meets Ravage again, and she is a shell of the woman she used to be. Can these two have a 2nd chance, or is it too late? This is a well written story which is emotionally charged, and with danger, suspense, action, revenge, and love. I was totally hooked throughout this addictive page turner, and I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

For Ravage, there was nothing he wouldn't have done for Marisole, and when she no, it broke him bad. But Marisole had her reasons ones she had to face alone for years. Now she has a freedom in sight thanks to her half sister Rosa, but she's stoll in the sights of trouble and has only one person she can trust, Ravage. But will he become her savior, after all they went through is this their second chance? Filled with heartbreaking and melting scenes, the story grabs your attention from the start and holds it all the way through l, filled woth action suspense desires and more with. Also with scenes of abuse, drug use and r*ape.

This was a very hard hitting, emotional story that touched on some very delicate subjects but I felt that Ms Knox handled them extremely well. Ravage and Marisole share a history but Marisole married Scar and many years later Marisole is rescued from her marriage and is left in Ravage’s care. Ravage does all he can to help Marisole overcome all she had been through in life and slowly their friendship takes off again. This would have to be my favourite book by Ms Knox and I feel it is her best work to date. This story tugged at my heart strings and I am so eager to read more about Marisole and Ravage in future books to come because their story is only just beginning. Loved it.

3 1/2 Stars.....When Knights of Retribution MC VP Ravage was younger, he was dumped by the love of his life Marisole on the night he proposed to her. He was devastated and has guarded himself ever since. Ten years later, he finds Marisole a drug addicted, shell of the woman she once was. Her father "sold" her off in marriage to a brut of a man who abuses, drugs, and passes her around. She continues using to forget and deal with her horrible life. Ravage still finds he has feeling, but keeps them under wraps, but is determined to help her through sobriety and restarting her life clean and sober. The book is well written, has action, twists, steam, and action. Solid read.

Ok what horrors could this author scamper up for our reading pleasure? Oh I know! I know! Ravage and Marisoles story in the Knights of Retribution Series! Yes ladies and gentleman, Miss Knox has outdone herself with this Book! This book is brutal on the feels! Miss Knox does a miraculous job of steering this story right to where she wants us. This is a top notch series in and of itself but when you have crossovers and characters that are new but not well you are in for one heck of a treat. It has such fervently and grace the winsome is there but covered in a very deep layer of darkness. You better hold on because it will get only heavier from here on in. That is what you can expect from Miss Knox!

Ravage and Marisol were engaged 10 years ago before she broke his heart. Her father told her she was destined to marry someone else as he had committed to a contact. She broke up with him and ended up entering a prison as her husband was cruel and abused her. Her sister along with the Reapers Rejects breaks her out of her prison. They go back to the club rum by Gambke and she runs into Ravage. Will they reconnect? Will he be able to keep her safe? In true Elizabeth Knox style she jeeps you waiti.g for the shoe to drop. Great story with great characters with visits from old friends and name dropping of other authors and books.

This story had a good plot. It can be read as a standalone but it helps if you have read the previous books because the story kind of moves on without a lot of going back. Marisol was forced into an arranged marriage but when her father was killed the deal between her father and husband was gone. Scar is an evil man and treated her badly. Ravage wanted to marry Marisol when they were young but she broke up with him. Ravage never lets anyone get close. When their paths cross Ravage has to make a decision on helping her or walking away. I took a star away because I really wanted more details and felt the story had so much more potential.

Ravage and Marisole were in love years before. She cannot accept his proposal because her father has other plans for her that involves another man.

Years have passed when this pair cross paths again. At this point Marisole is not anywhere near the girl she was when Ravage knew her. Her husband turns out to a monster that mistreats her and allows other men to do the same. Thankfully, she receives the help to escape.

My biggest issue with this story was the brutality toward Marisole. To me it didn't have rhyme or reason. I enjoyed Ravage helping her mend.

Marisole has been to the depths. She trusted and it unfortunately cost her. She lost her love and definitely herself.

This story is about Mari - her personal growth, loss of self and her standing tall to those who tried to hold her down. Ravage may have loved and lost but found that 2nd chance with a woman who needed his shoulder, his heart and his help to see her true value.

Love and life are painful so it made me cheer for her all the more. It's a dark fall but the light at the end holds warmth and care that she hasn't had in too long. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.

Readers can expect all the feels that Elizabeth Knox puts into every story she writes. Ravage and Marisole's journey to finding their way back to each other is nothing short of heartbreaking. They find each other again ten years later when she runs away from her current life that her father chose for her. The horrors and abuse that Marisole endured during her marriage was enough to break even the strongest of humans. A bit dark with abuse and trauma, as well as twists, readers can expect a great ending for Ravage and Marisole. **I was gifted "Wait On Me" via Booksprout, leaving my review based on my reading.** 5 Stars!

This is a great book about first and lost,lasting love. It is so dark and slightly scary.
Marisole has been living in hell for years. She’s been used,abused and has almost died from her life.
Ravage had his heart tore out of his chest, when Marisoles father broke them apart with threats. He was mad and hurt, but never stopped loving her.
Years later they come together through Marisoles sister. When Ravage sees her in person , he can’t help but to remember the vibrant girl from his past that he loved.they save each other, and find out that their love is still there and going strong after all those years.
