Koji Kashin e Amado se afastam da Kara. Amado surge de repente na vila Konoha, faz Shikadai refém e reivindica algo inesperado. Em meio à negociação, muitos segredos são revelados e Koji Kashin e Jigen iniciam uma luta!!
Well, no one complain that the storylines are all of one note. I’m loving the new direction this is taking. And loving the speed, as well. Amado is turning out to be one hell of an interesting character.
Read this this morning before I had to be at work. Another great volume that explained a lot of the background. Kashin Koji I already knew the tea on since I’ve read spoilers, but it was still cool experiencing it first hand. Can’t wait for the next volume, I wish they would release them a little quicker
moja annual prednovogodišnja naruto opsesija ove godine udara malo jače - aka pročitala sam svih 52 poglavlja boruto mange što su do sad izašli za 3 dana. ubeležićemo poslednji dosadašnji volume u to ime. guilty pleasure, but a part of me will always belong to konoha.
This was a pretty decent volume. The Kara scienentist Amando appears, and gives some of information on both the Otsutsuki and Isshiki. Koji confronts Jigen, during which time Isshiki's tru appearance is reveled. And we learn Koji's true identity at the end of the last chapter
Major spoilers:
The scientist Amando deflects to Konoha, and places a bomb on Shikadai, as levarage to genrentee his asylum. Amando is taken into custedy and is interogated by Naruto, Shikamaru and Sasuke. During this time Amando reveles both he and Koji are working agianst Isshiki.
Amando explains alot of details about the Karma marks, such as thier function. Which is to allow for the rebirth of the otsutsuki clan memeber who placed the mark on thier host. He explains while many hosts can be marked with Karma when the otsutsuki transfers to one host all others are disconnected. This means if Isshiki takes on his full Otsutsuki form in Jigen his connection to Kawaki will be severed. Which is what occures during Koji and Isshiki's fight. Amando states now is the best time to kill Isshiki, since when he awakened his connection to Kawaki was severed and Jigen's body is severly weakened.
Amando also gives information about the Otsutsuki themself and thier plans. Such as they are parasitic aliens that go world to world growing Divine trees to harvest chakra fruit. The growing of the divine tree kills all life on the planet. To grow the Chakra tree a ten tailed beast is placed deep in the earth to act a seedling for the divine tree.
Amando also explain that Monoshiki will try to revive himself throught Boruto. With the Karma mark he placed on him. He also states that the karma mark is advanced alien technology and the personality is transfered thought data.
Koji uses one of his toads and Amandos glasses to allow Naruto and the others to view his fight with Isshiki. Naruto then starts to realize Koji's resemblence to Jaraiya. Koji is successful in forceing isshiki to fully awaken in Jigen's body which severs isshiki's connection to Kawaki and kills Jigen. Isshiki then attacks Koji causing his mask to shatter. It is then revealed that Koji is indeed Jaraiya's clone.
Fan Rant: (Koji is a clone)
When I thought Koji was a villian genuinely working with Kara I did not want Koji to be Jaraiya. But once it appeared Koji was working against Isshiki I wanted Koji to be Jaraiya. For a few reasons such as getting to seeing Jaraiya in the story again, having him see Naruto as hokage, and that fact that Jaraiya felt unfulfilled at the time of his death. Althought the story line of the hero who died is actually still alive but is a villian has been done with Obito; And the story line of the hero pretendeding to be a villian to gain the trust of the evil organization has been done with Itachi. Althought both these story lines have been used in Naruto before I would not have minded if it returned Jaraiya to the story.
I don't see where the story will Jaraiya's clone will go. Naruto and others would not have any reason to be attached to jaraiya's clone. Maybe Naruto will sympathesize with Koji's becuase of the fact he was grown to be killed by Isshiki, but it wont be all the story possibilities of Jaraiya returning to the story. Such as meeting Naruto as hokage, Seeing the other sanin again or rejoining the hidden leaf village.
It also does not make sence that Jaraiya's clone would have all his powers. Such as his summoning powers as they are not genetic. Also Koji's age does not make sense. If Jaraiya was killed when Naruto was 16 and Naruto is 33 right now the max age Koji would be is about 16-17 years old. The only way the age could make sense is if Koji was cloned to be an adult.
Enless maybe koji is cyborg like Delta. When Amando was defecting Delta caught them. So Amando gave a command to shut her down. Koji then wondered if he also had a similar shut down code. Does this mean Koji is also a Cyborg. It seems unclear.
Fan rant: (Isshiki's hosts)
It is reveled by Amando that Jigen is isshiki's first host. The one he entered after he was injured by Kaguya. It does not seem to make sense that Isshiki would go centuries without taking a anther host. You'd think since the time of Kaguya he would have taken hundreds of hosts. Why would he wait entill jigen is about to die to look for anther host such as Kawaki. What was Isshiki doing for all these centries?
Conclusion:
Sorry for the long rant about Koji, I think I was looking forward to Koji being Jaraiya and was disappoint to find out he wasn't. Also I did not like how long Isshiki has gone without taking anther host it just does not make much sense to me. Overall I do like when they give explanation but it seemed like alot of the information Amando gave about the Otsutsuki was already know, such as they are aliens and they gather chakra fruit.
The scientist and genius Amado escapes to Konoha and decides to talk for like 2 chapters which is fine by me because we learn a lot of things: Who really Jigen is and his purpose, Kashin Koji's identity and purpose, Boruto's Karma and Momoshiki and a lot more. The fight between Koji and Jigen was also super cool. I think they are doing a great job with the manga. The only problem I have right now is to wait for a month for 1 volume. I can't wait to see all of these in the anime.
FINALLY! Explanation behind what karma is and how to get rid of it. It is a bit convoluted, but was explained well enough to understand. I did not expect a jiriyah name drop but loved to see it
the karma and otsutsuki stuff was really cool esp now that there have been more explanation ab them. and i honestly didnt expect that to be jiraiya honestly! altho ive read before that he'll appear (??) as well in boruto but jus his clone. AMADO IS SUS ASF I DONT CARE I WOULD NEVER TRUST THIS GUY FR FR
A CLONE OF JIRAIYA SENSEI ???? Jiraiya was one of the best character in Naruto, he was a real mentor and was the key to defeat Nagato. I love to see that another incredible character such as him was created in this manga.

- Naruto, Kawaki and Sarada all undergo a treatment. Mitsuki have a conversation with Sasuke about what happened to Boruto. They assumed that Karma is a resurrection medium for Ohtsutsuki.
- Kashin Koji and Amado ready to start their plan. Kashin Koji send Amado to Konoha by using reverse summoning. Amado come across with Shikadai, Inojin and Cho-Cho who are in training.
- Amado take Shikadai as his hostage by installing a bomb in his neck. He wants to defect to Konoha. Amado was brought to Hokage's place to be interrogated.
- Amado shares an intel about Ohtsutsuki. Ohtsutsuki is alien parasites who devour the life of the planet. They will bring along a Juubi and it will become a divine tree. The divine tree will bears a chakra fruit by sucking the life of the planet.
- Amado shows a live footage of Kashin Koji vs Jigen. The battle of those two going on fiercely. Jigen's true identity is Ohtsutsuki Isshiki. He comes to Earth with Kaguya but she turned against him. Weakened, Isshiki possessed a novice monk body which is Jigen.
- Karma is a highly compressed back up file for Ohtsutsuki in order to resurrect. Momoshiki converted himself into data in form of Karma and implanted in Boruto. The Karma will slowly extracts over time and when the data fully extracted, Boruto's body will be over written by Momoshiki's data. Boruto will cease to exist. That's how Ohtsutsuki undergo rebirth.
- After losing to Kaguya, Isshiki is weakened and unable to implant a Karma. He used his special jutsu, Sukuna Hikona to shrink himself and infiltrated Jigen's body through ear. He absorbed nutrients and control Jigen's body. When he have sufficient energy, he implanted Karma in Jigen's body. The process to rebirth is going on.
- The most important criteria for Ohtsutsuki to be reborn is selecting the right target named vessel. Isshiki's chakra is to massive for Jigen so he passed through to be reborn in Jigen's body. The right vessel for him is Kawaki.
- The fight continues. Kashin Koji summoned a fire from Flaming Mountains to burn Jigen. Jigen cannot absorbed the fire as it is not made by chakra. Jigen was burned to death. Ohtsutsuki Isshiki was forced to reincarnate using Jigen's body. Karma in Kawaki's body disappeared.
Chapter 44: Genin acting rashly? So things haven't changed since we were brats. C'mon, it's like a Konoha tradition.
Chapter 44: Time to go sleep, Delta.
Chapter 44: To my eyes, it looked like Jigen himself was a vessel for yet another being.
Chapter 44: Whether you survive past today is up to your father.
Chapter 44: I, Amado, wish to defect to Konoha. In return, I offer intel to you. On Kara, Jigen, ten tails, and Ohtsutsuki. I'll share everything I know.
Chapter 45:
Chapter 45:
Chapter 45: Jigen is an Ohtsutsuki. Or rather he become an Ohtsutsuki. He originally was an ordinary human, just like us. What?! Let me start by explaining exactly who and what the Ohtsutsuki are. They are invaders from another planet. To put it plainly, they are alien parasites. They have but one goal. To devour life of a planet. What do you mean by devour life of a planet? As in, how do they do it? Via endlessly annoying gardening. They plant a divine tree in the ground, an enormously large tree. Its roots grow deeply, reaching every corner of the planet, just like mold in your bathroom and it sucks the chakra from all life living on that planet. These alien species, why would they do such thing? Because of what happens next. Once the divine tree is finished absorbing everything, it will bear a large fruit. The Chakra fruit. That's right. The Chakra fruit are lumps of tremendous energy and genetic information. Ohtsutsuki continuously update themselves by eating them. That's how their species evolves.
Chapter 45: Uchiha Sasuke, have you been there? To that place? Where do you mean? No need to play dumb. You ought to have learned its cordinates from the airship's data. That place that can only be reached using space-time ninjutsu. Don't tell me you... Yeah, I planted it there. In a way that would be easy for you all to find. I wanted you to know about him ahead of time.
Chapter 45: If you did go there, you should've seen that Jigen possesses a ten tails. It's a different specimen than the one you battled. Unfortunately, I don't know where this one come from. But Ohtsutsuki always utilize a ten tails when they assault a planet. For it is ten tails that becomes the divine tree. Ten tails is the seedling. First, they plant ten tails in the ground. It grows into the divine tree, consumes the planet and eventually bears the Chakra fruit. Once the harvest the fruit, they no longer need that planet. They move on to another planet, and repeat the same process. That's Ohtsutsuki for you.
Chapter 45: I was created to kill you.
Chapter 46:
Chapter 46: I'm fine with being a tool. For that's what shinobi are.
Chapter 46: Ohtsutsuki Isshiki? That's right. That is Jigen's true identity. Or rather it would be more correct to say his real form.
Chapter 46: Ohtsutsuki Isshiki. He came to our planet long ago. Along with Ohtsutsuki Kaguya. What?! As I mentioned earlier, their objective was to plant the divine tree and harvest its Chakra fruit. But the a problem arose. Kaguya suddenly turned against Isshiki. I don't know Kaguya's motives. Whether it was personal enmity... or wanting the fruit all to herself. There's no way to find out now, but the important thing is that it happened. Caught of guard, Isshiki suffered enough damage to be on the verge of death, but he managed to take over the body of a novice monk who happened to be nearby, and survived. That unfortunate man... was Jigen.
Chapter 46: During the battle, Momoshiki converted himself into data, replicated himself and implanted that into Boruto's body. Do you understand? In short, karma is a highly compressed Ohtsutsuki backup file. The compressed file slowly extracts over time. That is going on even this very minute. And when all of the data is fully extracted, Boruto's body will be overwritten by Momoshiki's data and Boruto himself will completely cease to exist.
Chapter 46: I'll teach all of you how to kill an Ohtsutsuki!
Chapter 47:
Chapter 47: The Sukuna-Hikona, Isshiki's secret jutsu. It can shrink almost anything. And restore it almost instantly too. The only exception is living things. He can shrink himself, but no other living thing.
Chapter 47: When an Ohtsutsuki dies, the transfer into one's vessel begins automatically. Even Isshiki himself cannot control it. It's a strict karma rule. And though Jigen and Kawaki are both vessels of Isshiki's. Jigen's karma has had enough time to have complated extracting, so Jigen is fully ready to be used as Isshiki's vessel at any moment. Whereas Kawaki has still not finished the process. Just like with Boruto, His ohtsutsukification is in progress, but won't be done for some time. In short, he cannot be used as Isshiki's vessel yet.
Chapter 47: It doesn't matter if it is a corpse burnt to crisp. As long as it's a body bearing a karma, it'll function sufficiently to be a vessel for reincarnation.
Chapter 47:
Chapter 47: When an Ohtsutsuki reincarnates using a vessel, all other karma implanted in other vessels are simultaneously erased altogether. No matter how many vessel exist. I suspect it's some sort of safety feature to prevent the risk of creating duplicate copies of the same personality, but well, that doesn't matter. What's key is that right now he no longer possesses even a single vessel for purposes of reincarnating further. Do you understand what that means? That's right. At the moment, it's possible to kill an immortal Ohtsutsuki for good.
Chapter 47:
Chapter 47: Is Kashin Koji all right?! What's your point? And why are you so bothered? I don't know. I truly can't figure out why I'm so concerned about him.
Chapter 47: All genes, all people have predestined fate. That man bore a mighty fate, a star of change. Now I understand. Amado had wanted to cling to it. To that man's mighty fate. To the minuscule possiblity of change. Kashin Koji, clone of Jiraya of the great three. That you shall die here was also predestined by your genes!
This manga volume was so GOOD! Probably the best by far because it has so much revelations, we have Amado kidnap Shikadai and when they take him in, his condition is that he wishes to defect to Konoha and he does sorta but wants reassurances from the Hokage regarding the same. He tells him the full history of the karma and what they actually are, potential vessel for the Ohtsutsuki's and their true nature. Like Karma is basically backup of them and they inject it into a person, so like Momoshiki did it with Boruto and in time Boruto will cease to exist and Momoshiki will take over, similarly here he tells more of the Karma functions and how Isshiki shrunk himself down and was controlling Jigen and in time made him into a complete vessel and how Kawaki factors into it and its just insane and its so good! We also have that live fight being frogcasted (bad pun I know) and its epic, and we see him destroy Isshiki until he reveals his true form until the video cuts out and we find Koji is actually a clone of Jiraiya and their final fight is gonna be epic! And there are some more revelations about the true nature of the Ohtsutsuki's and their real motive and that they are alien parasites and more and wow so much happens here its perfect and takes this series to a whole new level, it builds on top of already existing myth and its perfect! My favorite volume of the series so far!

They’ve gained intel from the Kara researcher and scientist, Amado. He speaks on the Karma, calling it an “Otsutsuki backup file.”
Otsutsuki Isshiki has been resurrected and shown his true form.
So Kawaki is saved, but probably just temporarily. What does that mean about Boruto’s karma if there’s only 1 vessel for Momoshiki?
Kashin Koji’s identity has been revealed as Jiraiya’s clone. I’m not surprised he has something to do with Jiraiya, it’s so fucking obvious. But what I am surprised at, is that Kashin Koji is a clone... I was hoping that Jiraiya had been resurrected, and made himself young again like Tsunade, somehow. I miss his battles in Naruto. But what does this say about Amado? Does he admire Jiraya as a hero? Where the fuck is this guy from? What are his views on Shinobi? What is his relationship with Shinobi, prior to Kara?

Volume 12 was a solid volume finally uncovering Jigen's true identity as well as the implications that identity and the identity of the major antagonist on Boruto, Kawaki, and others. It was a fantastic volume with a perfect mix of action, comedy, and suspense. I also thought it had a few heartwarming displays such as Shikamaru's hasty actions towards his son, Shikadai.
The only extra in the volume was the end of volume (5th time) Boru-fans content reviewing the characters we've met thus far.

Don't understand, but I mean... I love it. Miss you so much, Jiraiya Sensei ❤️🩹

There are lots of useful info dumps in this volume, but the reveal of Koji's true origins steals the show! Quite an impressive execution and foreshadowing!
In this volume, Naruto wakes up and learns what Boruto and his team did to save him. They learn more about the karma from a Kara traitor. #BorutoNarutoNextGenerationsVol12 #NetGalley
