Living With Faeries invites the reader to cast aside the myths and folklore and get to the real essence of what a faery is and how humans can interact with them. There are rules of faery etiquette, lists of do's and don'ts, and many chapters on rituals and methods to invite the faeries in. The book contains faery essential oils, crystals, plants, herbs, and trees and how you can easily and respectfully create a faery garden for them to play in.
I love all things Faeries. In this new book by Kac Young, she shares beautiful sweet and often very funny faery stories. I could read them forever. I love to create special faerie gardens in my yard and I learned new and exciting ideas in this book to bring even more faeries to my home. I adored this book and everything she has to offer.
This was a fun read on a subject I have yet to delve into fully so it was a sort of introductory for me. Overall I like the information that was given but I something about didn't connect with me and felt off.
I'm a huge fan of the fae, and I loved reading this book. It was so pretty as well. Really informative, and based on the author's experiences, it was very interesting. Great for beginners and long standing followers. Gorgeous edition to the book shelves.
DNF I think after reading more than half that I can write a review. The cultural appropriation was very glaring as was her attitude to Fairies in general.
