Blaire and Austin finally get their chance to shine. This book has a lot of references to events in past books, as told from Blaire and Austin's point of view. It can be a little hard to keep straight, but hang in there.

Blaire ended up at a ranch in Colorado looking to mate with a werewolf due to a dare from her sister. Blaire has never been one to resist a dare or a challenge. She got into auto racing and made a name for herself until an accident ended her career. The tabloids have her listed as down and out but she is determined to start fresh, and a hot wolf who thinks she's his mate is right up her alley.

Austin has never thought that a human woman could possibly be his mate, but his wolf picked Blaire out of all the prospective werewife videos and he will do whatever it takes to save his pack's land. He has been the head of operations at the ranch since he left the service after 16 years. Lately, he has also been charged with the security of the ranch and things have not been going well. Someone is out to make them look bad, and he is not sure it is not members of his own pack. He feels divided between guarding the pack and romancing his mate. Can he do both things at the same time or does he need to concentrate on ranch security until the culprits are found? How can he be sure his mate will stick around he feels ready to claim her?

Once again we are with the Werewives of Colorado and I do think that you will enjoy this book a lot more if you have read the previous books as a lot of things that happened in them are brought up in this story but they are so good why wouldn't you want to read them anyway.

Austin is the wolf in charge of security on the ranch and he will do whatever he has to keep the pack and their land safe He is perfect for the job after serving in the military He is struggling though to keep everyone safe and is beginning to suspect that they have a traitor in the pack. he never expected that he would have a human as a mate but the first time his wolf saw the video of Blair he knew she was his. Blair only entered to be a Werewife on a dare from her sister she could never resist a dare that is how she ended up as a race car driver but after an accident everyone is writing her off. Can these two find a way to be together can Austin work on his mating and protect the pack at the same time You will have to read to see

Blaire and Austin click but Austin keeps getting pulled away by threats from another pack.
Werewife Blaire Bass had found fame at the wheel of racing cars but an accident cut that career short now she has become a Werewife after being chosen by Austin. Werewolf Austin is ex-military and the pack's expert on security knows Blaire is his mate but incursions and threats from another pack kept interrupting his courtship and casting doubts in Blaire's mind. The two vie for best date and this competition makes for some interesting evenings.The two struggle as the feelings strengthen and the trouble intensifies.

Ex-Racecar Driver and Wolf-Shifter Cowboy!!

The rapport and competition between Blaire and Austin are so much fun to read!

Blaire had a career-ending crash, but had never really been “accepted” by the racing world. Austin is in charge of Operations of the ranch – and security. When sabotage not only escalates the danger, but puts a halt to the werewife dates something has to change.

Another terrific episode in this entertaining series.

This is book number four in this fantastic series that I am so hooked on and can not wait to read the next story in this series. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about wolf shifters and paranormal romance.

Austin's mom was great! Jackson had "little wolf " syndrome!! Lol. What duplicity! I'm dead!! I liked the addition of 'Bibi' to the storyline because it added more dimension to it. I loved that after all the chaos and the dust settled there was a minor babyboom! Yay! Looking forward to the next couple. Sterling is one messed up wolfie as far as mates go! Wth????

A wolf in Colorado thought I might be his forever mate. This wolf made my heart race. I like the thrill of the chase. What about you? Every wolf loves the hunt. Game on, wolf. Ready for the ride of your life, cowboy? Challenge accepted. This is the first time that I have honestly said this about ANY character of Kristen Strassel's, but Blaire rubbed me the wrong way from the very beginning! Her arrogance, her over inflated ego, just her idea of how "important" she is, turned me off! But by the 2nd chapter, all was good & she warmed up to me. In fact, it didn’t take much longer before I was living the story AS her! But then who WOULDN’T want a Wolf like Austin?! I TOTALLY love, Love, LOVED this book with all of the twists & turns, ups & downs, surprises & SURPRISES!!! And boy do I have a love/hate relationship with this new twist that the amazingly talented Kristen Strassel has thrown in for this series & season! I am thoroughly enjoying the stories, loving this great new "batch" of new friends & Wolves, loving the main twist & way that the Real Werewives are done this time around, but I am a very impatient reader, so to have each book end with a cliff-hanger to setup the next book....well, let's just say that I hope Kristen is busy writing / finishing the last 2 books so that I don't have to wait too long for my new best friends to get their HEA! Okay, I DO like the cliff hanger because it allows for a longer storyline to be explored, while still giving each couple their HEA in each book, but I do hate to wait to keep reading! LOL

Blaire and Austin were off to a hot start. Their dating challenges have led to some interesting times like a drive-in movie and Blaire doing a burlesque dance for Austin. then troubles started happening at the ranch and Austin started to back away. He is worried that focusing on his mate is distracting him from his job providing security on the ranch. In the military one little distraction led to a mistake that got his teammates killed. Austin doesn't want to repeat that mistake. However his wolf is driving him nuts wanting to claim Blaire.

Blaire has a lot to overcome in her past. She made mistakes that hurt her career as a race car driver. It even led to a serious crash that ended her career and landed her in the hospital for months. Now she is ready to start a new life. The wolves of the pack were cool to her at first but they soon welcomed her. She wants to make a difference in the pack but she may never get a chance too because Austin keeps putting her off. Now she is wondering if his actions mean that she really isn't his mate. Dealing with Austin's hot and cold treatment is driving her nuts.

And would his mate be willing to stick around until he has time to claim her?

I loved this latest story by Kristen Strassel in this series. I have been a fan from the beginning. I loved that Blaire and Austin finally got their story. I couldn't put it down!

Blaire and Austin both have things to overcome but they are willing to for a chance at forever together. Blaire was a racecar driver before an accident ended her career. She is trying to find her new path. Austin knows that she is his mate. They are having great dates before they are put to a stop. He needs to figure out who is trying to destroy the pack. He is being pulled in two different directions. Will they be able to find happiness together?

Instant Mate is the fourth book in Kristen Strassel’s The Real Werewives of Colorado and the page count is a little longer in this book due to some recapping of the story arc and where we are so far. There’s no denying the attraction between Austin and Blaire early on, even though Austin has doubts that a human could possibly fit in his complicated life. But as the story takes hold and this compatible, but wary couple face communication and past baggage dilemmas, the depth of their attraction and what the future offers becomes more apparent. A great read and a fabulous addition to this thoroughly entertaining series.

This is a very well written book. It’s got lots of action, fated mates, steamy scenes and happily ever after endings for more than just Blaire and Austin. When Blaire’s audition tape for The Werewives is chosen by a wolf named Austin, Blaire tells herself she’s not going to make it easy for him, even if she is his fated mate. Both of them have a past with fears and emotions that come with it. Unfortunately there’s trouble on the ranch and the werewives are in danger, but their mates aren’t going to let anything happen to them no matter what.

These two have a lot of sparks between them. They are always challenging each other in the best of ways. The drama is keeping Austin busy and along with miscommunication, they have to trust in each other. I have enjoyed the Werewives series and this book was a great addition

So the story to save the ranch continues to our next couple Blaire and Austin. I am loving this couple. Austin realized right away that she was his mate and wooed her. I am looking forward to their dates, how they are going to top off their previous one. its become an adventure of sorts.

It's not all that light for this couple, they have their own issues to deal with, their past which affects the person they are now. But this couple knows what is more important: each other.

This is book four of five in the The Real Werewives of Colorado series by Kristen Strassel. This is the first book that I have read by this author, and I enjoyed it.

If you like people who do not give up, then this is the book for you. Blaire is wanting to start fresh. Austin is beginning to think that she is the mate he has been looking for. He is busy trying to find the one who is trying to make trouble for his pack. Will he be able to show Blaire that she is his mate and save his pack?

This was another fun story to add to the series. It had suspense and drama as well with provided excitement. I loved the interactions between the characters, including the supporting cast of characters. I was left hanging though as the mystery is still left unsolved in my opinion.
