The time has come for Evan to marry his princess, and not only that, the ceremony will also grant him a major power boost. But not all is well with the Breach, and King Rodion, Alyona’s father, is in danger. Evan is sick of the Green Glass Sect targeting his loved ones and family. It’s time this dragon finds that bastard mage Olivier and destroys the Sect once and for all.
Okay, let’s get my grievances out of the way first… now I’m a common sense kind of person. Let’s go down this road, shall we? Alyona does magic, she gets tired and fatigued. What do they do? What do they GIVE HER? Why the magic tea that peps her right back up… that brings back her colour instantly, makes me feel better and invigorates her.. tell me…. WHY DONT THEY GIVE RHODION THIS TEA? The man is sitting in a chair with bags under his eyes and his hair is matted to his face. He’s clearly drained and wiped out… they talk about how tired he is yet no one offers the man a drink… next, why for the life of me didn’t Evan clear the cave of books when they know he ran away and the portal was blocked? Chances are there was a possibility they couldn’t find their way back.. wouldn’t you want to deprive the enemy of all of his texts and Information he’s gathered over multiple millennia? He also found the rare animal that could change his scales, why not assimilate it? There was his chance… also, I know keeping your word to Valerra yadda yadda but if I had the sages back to me and he didn’t know I was there I would have dumped 5 tactical nukes into the cave while the man would poring over his table.. I’d have just said sorry baby I got him for you and let it be done. Also, again multiple times Evan just talks and doesn’t think for himself, he’s supposed to be able to use magic and instead of learning more magic he just hands off books etc and depends on others… I’d want to learn all I could besides just what I assimilated… there’s literally worlds upon worlds of spells out there… I mean he can’t even open a portal even though he’s the most powerful being on inati…. He just refuses to learn… he has an abundance of those coins too, think how much he could supercharge spells, he could even learn to possibly imbue his own mana into his own coins for later usage… does he attempt to learn? NOPE.. I mean I hate to say it but this is kinda typical Vall.. the series is phenomenal… I mean it’s superb, but he relies on his MC using bravado, ego and just being a super chad to get out of situations… granted he had enough women for situations but wouldn’t it be nice (sorry beach bois TM) 🤣 to be able to handle some things yourself too? I’m so happy about Emma making an appearance, the y2k earth was crazy… that was just so trippy! Also I’m a cat person vs dog so I’m with the king and disappointed in Evan 😂. To be honest, I’m glad we’re done with this portion of the story… I was tired chasing this guy around.. I’m ready for the next chapter.. let’s do this! Onward lads!

Book 14 sees Lord Evan tie up some lose ends and the conclusion of the first arc of this series. Some interesting twists and turns and overall a great addition to this series. It is Eric Vall's best selling series and this continues to be his best series IMO. With the first arc now coming to a close, the second arc can start and I cannot wait. Bring on more Dragon goodness.
Our dragon hero has finished his travels for the kingdom and now he is to be married to the priestess princess. The marriage ceremony is combined with an ancient ritual binding their souls together. Greatly increasing their magical ability, the happy couple embark on a new life. But the Green Glass Sect have different plans as they kidnap the king. A good read.
An enjoyable entry into the continuing saga of Rahma. A couple of nice surprises mixed in to change things up and keep the story from being formulaic which I really appreciate as it keeps my interest and wanting the next entry. I can see a few ways this ongoing saga can continue and I think I'd enjoy each of them.
I really loved reading this book. Evan and his group head to the Breach to aid the King. What they find is far more sinister and deadly than they imagined. The story and characters were interesting, intriguing, and engaging. I look forward to reading more about these characters and their further adventures. This book is definitely worth reading.
At last Olvide has been eliminated from the story… what a stubborn evil maniac dude. More importantly interesting revelation about Evan’s father been a world traveler and more stuff to come. The character development was good 😊 hope to see more. I cannot wait to see Alyona and other harem women have children that would be lovely 🥰.
This story never leaves you wanting, it delivers time, and time again! Incredible characters and a fascinating world with its own rich mythos that just gets better and better! Cannot wait for the next one!
I have loved this series since book one, and every book after that has only made this series better. But this one is by far the best yet! If you haven't read it yet, you better start, because I'm already raring for the next!
Evan and his harem have returned to the White Jade Temple and Palace, chased down Oliver and delivered justice. I am enjoying this series well done characters that are fun to read. I strongly suggest that you read this series!
From the beginning in book one of being thrown into another world, to the spicy scenes that are written in seamlessly, Eric delivers another amazing series that will have you turning the pages faster than you realize! A 5 star series for sure!
The first arc is complete and the way is open for the second. Lord Evan is powering up, but will it be enough? His wife, Alyona, found a magical spell to increase his power. Its crunch time with the Green Glass Sect as he and his lovelies take out the trash. I like the action, humor, and romance. I look forward to the next book.
Very good the entertained and enthralled for hours hard to walk away. This keeps getting better with every volume. On to the next volume and beyond. Keep up the great work and thank you for a very good story. Still saying it make a good anime.
I really love the story so far and am eager for the next book! I wish so if the audio was on audible instead of the audiobook guild but I make it work. Just have to read slower. Keep them coming!
