Oh yes, Santa came early to my Kindle! I have not found too many "holiday" books that live up to their hype but this one excelled. The book was so tongue and cheek with so many clichés that I normally would have rolled my eyes at but in this book, they were spot on. Poor Dex, life has dealt him a rough hand this past year and the only way he was been able to pay bills is by becoming an exotic dancer. Long hard fall for one of England's most elite ex special forces soldiers. Speaking of long hard falls, Holly never thought she would be stripping on Christmas Eve but turns out this is the only way to get out of debt. What starts out as a strange partnership between Dex and Holly ight become something neither of them expected, that is if the both can survive the night. Loved this book and it was just the story to get me into a sexy holiday spirit.

Every thought had a "fuck" on it, be it from her or him, didn't matter. I put that one aside and suck it up. She jumps the guy the minute she's out of the elevator but keeps saying she's not like that. Wrong. "Back when my college boyfriend had broken up with me, I’d woken up the following morning with the varsity quarterback... and his best friend. Years earlier, back on Long Island, I’d found my first serious boyfriend making out with some slut at a house party – and wound up fucking his brother in his parent’s bedroom." He was "premium British beef" - yes we know, you told us multiple times. And then, he gets out to bring back help and he starts making out with the girl. Ugh. "Oh, shit – was I really doing this? Making out with this fucking beautiful girl… …while men with guns stalked the corridors outside?" Yep, you are. I'm done.
