The awesome subject of self-realisation needs to be rolling off people’s tongues more than the latest gossip and lists of personal problems.
You are not who you think you are and life is not what you think it is – self-realisation is what you need, it’s all you need!

•Just the book I needed to read right now. I am greatful that I came across this book.

•This book is a self help book that focuses on the aspect of living your life on your terms by being yourself.

•Be you consists of 3 parts and further divided into many chapters.
Part 1- Essential of being you
Part 2- Insights of being you
Part 3- The big picture of being you.

•Each chapter deals with a different emotion, feeling, social and mental things that stop you from being yourself and you will change on the way of being you.

•The book tell us how to see ourselves. How to tackle our feelings, emotions and social and mental pressure that stop us from being ourselves. The book contains many highlighted quotes that related to the chapter which give motivation to being yourself.

•The second part, insights of being you, was my favourite. It started with manifesting. It also discussed will power, depression, hope, self-love, healing and many other things.

•This is one of those books you keep within your reach at all times whenever you feel you are having a difficult time, when you have those moments of doubt and apprehension or when you worry too much about things

•Talking about the words and editing, I didn't face any difficulty while reading the book also the choice of words was really great.

•I'll highly recommend it to all the readers out there to must read it.

“I'm over here, and the good thing is over there.” This quote struck me and made me realize that why we always depend on external things or people for our happiness? Why we cringe over little things and hate ourselves? Well, different people will give you different answers and even different solutions but as the author himself admits that there is one true solution for every little anxious thought that runs in our mind and that is, Be you. Are you wondering okay but what’s the solution? Actually, this is it. You can get over anything by just being yourself and this book will help in in your journey.

Only a few people get a mentor or a guide that help them in their journey but even if you don’t have anyone. It’s okay, at least, you find your way back to this book. This is divided into three parts- the essentials, insights and then finally the practice of being you. This is a self-help book. So, you have to help yourself and at least take the first step in that direction by reading this book.

This book helps us in seeing our true self and what are we truly capable of. How to get over our emotions, feelings and mental health crisis. Each chapter will help you deal with one emotion or problem, one at a time. Be it- depression, forgiveness, loneliness, trust, faith, etc. This book will keep you motivated to get through life and most importantly, will help you in understanding and accepting your true self. As the author said, I quote, “Be happy. Be free. Be you.” Get this book now. I 100% recommend this. MUST BUY.

Evolution of humans is a wonderful concept and complexity of the brain is still a favorite topic for researchers to find something new & disturbing.

Humans have come so far. It is getting difficult to understand neural behaviour. In today's world, we thrive on different platforms to enrich and nurture our living; but we have forgotten about nurturing our soul. Falling in depression and anxiety is not less common these days.

We are running here and there to find out the solutions to our problems, and yes the solutions you will be getting from others are more acceptable than yours just because of foolishness of your brain activity.

Novel wants you to take that command right away and rule your thoughts. Listen to yourself. You own everything you are searching around. Just "BE YOU".

Chris Cirak is a writer. He is a very creative designer and researcher. Being good in multitask, he carried forward his career in teaching. He lectures at UCLAx on Design Thinking, a design methodology based on empathy, listening, mindfulness and human values.

The book is all about enlightenment and nurturing your brain with powerful words. The knowledge it shares with the readers is marvelous. It is a good counselling book to suggest.

The more you reach inside this book, the more you respect your self-esteem. It is filled with motivational quotes. Each quote is highlighting and shall connect your mind and soul.

The Book is very well arranged. It is covering various topics along subtopics, and it gives a reader more interaction with the text. Furthermore, it possesses the quality content a reader must be searching for. It is worth reading anytime of the day.

Life is unpredictable. Books like "Be You" are trending right now and helping you to become the best version of yourself. A numerous amount of workflow is available over the internet. Readers are accepting this new way of transformation. Let’s unlock and see how capable a being could be.

"BE YOU"
-Chris Cirak

My rating:4/5

Qotd: Fiction or non-fiction?

Anyone who knows me well remembers how much I loath non-fiction. I just can't read them. But I wanted to explore more of this genre this year and here is my 1st non-fiction of the year!

" Be you" consists of 3 parts. The first part discusses the essentials needed to be yourself, that is, the importance of listening to your inner voice, the need to travel the journey of life and so on. The author was even considerate enough to discuss life triggers, syndromes, stuck feelings etc. The second part, insights of being you, was my favourite. I mean, the part started with the topic of manifesting, which I do daily 🤭😌. 2nd portion also discussed depression, hope, will power, self-love, healing and so on. Last, but not least, the big picture of being you! The author balanced out the whole book by this part. This area majorly helped in using and applying all the facts and hoaxes in real life.

One major thing that I adored about this book was it talked about mental health. self-help book usually ignores to discuss on this topic. We all know how important it is to take care of yourself in this modern world. Also, huge gratitude to the author for not romanticising overwork.

I think that almost every reader out there would enjoy this one. It was a perfect mixture of knowledge, fun and was extremely thought-provoking.

Book : Be You
Author : Chris Cirak
Length :
Available: Kindle/Paperback

“To be you is to fulfil your life’s purpose and to fulfil the purpose of life.”-Chris Cirak

Be You by Mr. Cirak is all about empowering a reader to be their best self by regaining the faith in oneself. As I started to read this book that aims to take you on a thoughtfully crafted self-realization journey, I started to understand that the main aim of the book is to remind you that you are worthy of everything if you remember your self-worth. Many a times in the course of our lives we forget our self-esteem. This book in each step reminds you to brush that settled dirt away by motivating yourself.

The different chapters revolve around emphasizing on your core values, insisting you to understand your specific purpose of life, to achieve those goals being YOU and not forcefully change yourself like the world demands sometimes. I too believe that the first step towards life and success is to understand one’s own self. It provides ancient knowledge that improves quality of life.

It breaks down the basic knots and barriers faced in this path. Here author emphasizes on the importance of self-love and clearing stuck feelings.

The brief chapters on loneliness, depression, willpower, forgiveness, trust, coincidence, time helps a reader to get motivated, cultivate faith and remain hopeful in the path of betterment by increasing inner confidence. I really felt related to the “Nature” Chapter mostly because I feel very connected towards mother nature. I also liked the discussion on “Thought Awareness”.
I recommend this book to everyone.
“There is no doubt the world can make up happy. The issue arises from expecting the world to make you permanently happy.” -Be You, Chris Cirak.

Our society has created so much pressure on us that often we make our decisions based on society's judgments.
.
Be you is one of those books that will help you to become what you are and what stops you from becoming you.
.
The book is divided into three parts and further, these 3 parts are discussed deeply in chapters. The three parts are:-
1- Essential of being you
2- Insights of being you
3- The big picture of being you
.
All three parts have a motive and that is to help you become what you are. In the first part, the author has talked about how to control the emotions and social pressures that stops us from becoming our real self.
.
Whereas in the second part the author has discussed deeply willpower, depression, hope, self-love, healing, and much more.
.
I think this is one of the best books on self-help and irrespective of your genre, you must read it. This book is informative and some of the quotes and highlights are very inspiring and motivated.
.
The title of the book does justice with the content and I think this is the best title about the book.

The book cover clearly mentions *Be You* , and this is giving all the readers the message that there is no better and best way to embrace yourself than to accept yourself and become happy.

The content of the novel is point to point. The language is simple and decent so that everyone can understand it well. The title suits the story perfectly.

This book contains many chapters which further have 3 parts in it such as:
Part 1 essential of being you
Part 2 insights of being you
Part 3 the big picture of being you

Every part has its own meaning and own lessons . If you will read it with your full dedication I assure you growth, inner strenght and faith.

While reading this book I found alot of things relatable, how we feel and react to our emotions and feelings can be tough sometimes.

This is a really nice self help book which I came across this month. The concept introduced by the author are amazing, the thinking develops when you start understanding the words that the author wrote.
the book is divided into small chapters and each chapter offers something special.

The main idea of the book is finding the purpose of life, being yourself, to achieve your goals. The author shares the idea that we should not ourselves because of others, the way we are should remain the same, obviously the idea is not to be stubborn and repeat mistake, but the idea is to be the way you are comfortable don't try to adapt yourself as per the demands of others.

The book is written in a beautiful manner and i was so happy to read the book. If you want to feel motivated and optimistic then go through the book.

At the end when the author tells us How to be yourself , that is really very good. I feel so good after reading the book it is really amazing

1.You cannot find yourself outside of yourself. You find yourself by being you.

2.You can't be yourself if you don't know yourself. - Chris Cirak

Be You: The journey of self-realization is the path to unity with yourself and the world around you. You will learn how to change negative thoughts to positive ones, strategies to help your thoughts awareness and it provokes insights inside you.

The book is further divided into 3parts.

Part 1: The essential of being you -
It helps to focus on your stuck feelings, headspace, listening to your inner voice, how to tackle triggered feelings within you, to practice thought awareness and much more.

Part 2: Insights of being you -
It works on healing process like forgiveness, depression, fear and so on. It also gives the clear picture of self-love, change, truth, time.

Part 3: The big picture of being you-
It brings on the natural side of you to identify your soul journey.

The flow of language is lucid and everyone can relate to this content. All the chapters are short and crisp, it impacts you to be you. But it lacks somewhere, it would have added with real life example to give deep insights. Overall good book to get an excellent amount of knowledge about being you.

Everyone contributes to the world in different ways. Let what’s right for you be right for you and what’s right for others be right for them.

Your relationship with yourself is the most important relationship in your life. You are born alone and you die alone. People you meet along the way are co-stars in your adventure of self discovery. Love them with the fullest of hearts, for their journey is a part of yours.

In fact, a part of them is yours. This book speaks about you being yourself and following the path of your inner voice. It not only speaks about self love but it speaks on various different aspects from being born till our last dying breathe.

I enjoyed reading this book because everything that the Author has imbibed in this book felt like a reality. It was inspiring and moving and it even gave me answers that I had been searching in my life. I would definitely recommend people to read this one because it talks about letting go our stucked feelings and moving on with the direction of our inner voice.

Though there were parts which were repetitive and in the end the book also felt like drag, I would still recommend people to read this because it will definitely bring a shift in your life.

Chris Cirak's Be You- The Journey of Self-Realization is beautiful, inspirational, and motivational!

Chris explores numerous topics from Thought Awareness to Attachment to Suffering. And so much more! It is all broken down into sections, so whatever you need guidance in is very easy to locate. It is all easily explained. No complicated explanations or over explanations like in so many other self-transformation books. So if you are just starting on your self-transformation journey or need a great motivational lift on how to Be You...then this book is definitely for you! I wish I had this book when I first began my journey 1 1/2 - 2 years ago! I've been following Chris on his https://www.instagram.com/chriscirak/...

“A self help book that focuses on the aspect of living your life on your terms by being yourself.”

#Insight- “Deep down, you know there’s someone you’re meant to be.” The book tells how to see ourselves. How to tackle the feelings, emotions and social and mental problems that stop us from being ourselves.
The book tells us how the society has framed our minds towards different feelings such as change, attachment, loneliness, fear etc., and how these perceptions stop us from being ourselves.
The book also tells us how by being ourselves we can tackle the problems these feelings put us through and go towards a more happy and satisfactory life.

#Review- The Book is divided into 3 parts, and ends with the steps of how to be yourself.
Each part is divided into many chapters, and each chapter deals with a different emotion, or feeling, or social and mental things that stop you from being yourself and you will change on the way of being you.
The book contains many highlighted quotes that relate to the chapter and also work as motivation to being yourself.
The lack of any real life examples might make the book a little boring for people who like a mixture, but then again, its a “self help” book.

#Strength- Almost any issue you can think of in life is addressed in the book, so for people who are struggling to go through life this book can bee really helpful

#Drawbacks- For people who just pick up a book and start reading the book will turn out to be inspiring, but after a while the lack of any examples, or excerpts of life will make it hard to read further with interest.

#Target Audience- If you think you’re going through a rough patch of life or if you don’t understand what to do about a certain feeling an dhow to react, this book is for you.

#Rating- 3.8

👏Synopsis: This book is divided is three parts
The Essentials of Being You
Insights of Being You
The Big Picture of Being You

Though book is divided in these parts and was able to gauge my favorites as well. Those are black sheep, death and choice. The book flows with uniformity and grab the readers' attention throughout.

👏Novelty: As the book is divided into several chapters which are different than previous. I love the way author has maintain the range of topics which we rarely see in the self help book.

👏Guesswork: As every chapter is different from other , thus we are unable gauge what is coming into the reader's way.

👏Language: The I loved polished and range of vocabulary which has been used in the book, which is really commendable.

👏Final Call: Be You is not merely a self-help book, but it will compel you to reflect within ourselves and look around us. This book has mentioned & discussed many things which are of course not new however the approach of the book is really commendable. The quotes with every chapters serve as a bonus point to the reader. I will recommend this book to every reader who doesn’t like to read self-help book which are written in a typical manner. But I felt the length of the book could have been short a little bit.

"𝚆𝚑𝚘 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚊𝚛𝚎 𝚒𝚜 𝚊𝚕𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚍𝚢 𝚙𝚎𝚛𝚏𝚎𝚌𝚝. 𝙸𝚝'𝚜 𝚑𝚘𝚠 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚜𝚎𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚜𝚎𝚕𝚏 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚐𝚎𝚝𝚜 𝚒𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚠𝚊𝚢 𝚘𝚏 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚙𝚎𝚛𝚏𝚎𝚌𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗."

Rating: 5/5
Author: Chris Cirak.
This book Be You: The Journey of Self Realization written by Author Chris Cirak . Book is divided into 3 PARTS.
1. Essential of being you
2. Insights of being you
3. The big picture of being you

Each part has their own meanings and message behind them. I loved all the parts and can’t just choose out of 3. Mental health is an important thing and I’m so happy that the Author has talked about the same in this book.

This book will also motivate you to do better in life and how to tackle situations. As the title suggest Be: You the Journey of self-realization, different parts and quotes totally relates with the title of the book. Also, the book is not a lengthy one so you could read it in 1-2 days itself. Only 1 thing I wanted to point out that the cover of the book could have been a bit better.

I would recommend this book to everyone because this book will surely help you to evolve so much in life. I would like to thank the Author for giving me the opportunity to review this amazing book.

Be You: The Journey of Self Realization by Chris Cirak is a non-fiction book divided into three parts. This is one hell of a self help book which took me a long time to read it. Each sentence written in this book is very inspiring and motivating from within.

Be You is going to help you focus on managing your emotions & feelings, your actions, your mental health which in turn would bring a glow in your physical health as well. It helps you get over the social taboo's and labels that society has created and how we need to let it all go and just be yourself.

I would have loved if this book had some real life examples, it would have made this book a perfect one for me. The lack of examples make this books very monotonous and less relatable. But at the same time, I liked how the book focuses on diverse topics and not just one.

The short chapters makes the readers gain more insights and information about various concepts in one book. So, I know you are still confused, but pick this book up to know what I am talking about. It will somewhere help you find the bigger picture about Yourself.

Remember that you are not a random blob of cells. Every part of your dreams with intention. Your heart doesn't question why it beats. Your lungs don't get bored of pumping air. Each subatomic particle you consist of knows what role it plays in the great coming together as "you" is none of your building blocks waver about their purpose, why should you?

Be You by Chris Cirak breaks down several conceptual barriers and helps you to gain insights on improving the quality of your life. There are several aspects that have been broken down and discussed in this book.

Today when we are running to find a solution to our problems we are far from accepting that the solution lies within ourselves. We thrive to do better in life but we obtain forget about nurturing our soul.

Dividing the book into three parts, the essence of being you, the insides of being you, and the big picture of being you makes it easier to understand.

I like the choice of words by the author and how he has explained what he has tried to teach. I would definitely recommend it to beginners and nonfiction lovers.

Be You by Chris Cirak is, as the name suggests, a self-help book. The book imparts the wisdom of not pretending to be someone you are not. It goes in depth about the individuality of a person, the importance of being you.

Surprisingly, I never tire of self-help books. As many say, their content is just the same; and it is indeed most of the times. What I believe is, you can’t adhere to what is written by reading it just once. You need a reminder, a repetition. And that’s what these books do. They help in settling those values, those teachings deep inside me.

Be You has played it’s part in establishing the life-principles within me. The book has really short chapters, not making the reader feel as though they were reading something complex. The language is really simple, conversational actually, making it a perfect pick for beginner non-fiction readers. It was an easy-going book and I really enjoyed it.

In the world of social media we often compare ourselves to each other, aspire to be like others, want what others have and often this is the major reason for our miseries and worries. We try to chase happiness and meaning in things around us while it is within us.

This book talks about why self realization is important and how you can do it at regular intervals so that you don't get entangled in your thoughts and desires. The title very much summarizes the take away from this book which is 'Be you', you are unique in your own way and accepting that will make our lives so much better.

The writing style is very lucid and the book is fast paced. The author has also included many inspirational quotes. The book also talks about all the emotions that we feel in depth, because understanding what and why you feel certain emotions is the first step towards understanding ourselves.

Overall a good read!

Be You: A Journey of Self-Realization is such a gem to have on your shelf or your device. I feel this is the kind of book I will come back to when I feel low and forget my true self. This book helps one to remember, or for some, discover one's true self. It's a spiritual journey of self reflection, healing and growth. This book is full of positive reinforcement and healthy self love techniques. It is so easy to become pulled into the accepting crowd of conformity and pretentious replication of someone else. It takes bravery to say, no, this is not who I am, and standing against that in a healthy rebellious stance and being unapologetically yourself. This book has helped me to be true to myself and my purpose. It will go a long way in healing self image problems and insecurities, and once you are truly, authentically yourself, there is a inner peace that can't be matched. Love it. Thank you

There are many people who go through their daily lives very focused on the immediacy of the moment. They are thinking of nothing but going to work or what they might do this coming weekend. While it’s important to be present in the moment, it is far more vital to consider who you are as a person, your place in the world, and what kind of an impact you are trying to make.

This book will teach you about self-reflection and self-realization. If you stop to take a deep breath and center yourself, you can begin to break down the conceptual barriers that may be keeping you from gaining any real insight. The gaining of such insight can make you feel fulfilled and happy. Anyone who deals with issues such as depression, anxiety, or general dissatisfaction would be a prime candidate to read this book. Far too many of us are unhappy these days, and the step-by-step approach this book teaches can be the cure you’ve been looking for.

Be You: The Journey of Self-Realization by Chris Cirak approaches to inspire us to break down the barriers we create for ourselves so that we can gain a better understanding of our selves and as a result, a better control over our lives.

The book is divided into different sections and each parts talk about various, diverse topics but they all have the same meaning — how to be yourself in every walk of life. The thing about self help books is that some of them are indeed helpful because they tend to inspire by providing real life experiences of people that you can relate to even if you have never walked in the shoes of those people. This book was a miss because the approach it takes is unrealistic and not very ideal. The narrative isn't strong either and fails to leave an impact.

People who are looking for self help books might like this one but it wasn't my cup of tea.

"All this time, you've been blaming life for being difficult, wishing it was easy. When, in reality, life is easy, but you've been making it difficult."

• Be you is another book which we can list in the series of self-help books. It's another book that talks about self-realization, self-worth, self-esteem.

• This book is divided into three parts. In one book, you will find depression, hope, loneliness, faith, trust, and many more aspects of our life.

• The book has nothing new for me because I've a lot of self-help books but the writing style of the author is very effective.

• If you're someone who is dealing with any personal issue and looking for an easy motivational read then pick this book. Simple language. Easy vocab. Fast-paced.

• This book is highly recommended to beginners.

This was an important pep talk I needed. It really delved deep into self-realization. The authors writing was very beautiful and from the very first paragraph I was hooked. "You are not a random blob of cells. In fact, every part of you brims with intention. Your heart never questions why it beats. Your lungs don't get bored pumping air. Your hair doesn't stop growing when you have a bad day." Then continued on to saying this very important lesson "Each sub-atomic particle you consist of knows what role it plays in the great coming together as you. If none of your building blocks waver about their purpose, why should you?" This was thought provoking and beautiful. It felt like a pep talk to yourself.

An important takeaways from this book;
"Who you are is already perfect. It's how you see yourself that gets in the way of your perfection."

A rebirth

I think we rarely do the interesting analysis that this book brings us. Most books, talks or podcasts always try to motivate you to change, to be better or to work on those details in which you are missing something. Well, this book is more like an invitation to pure and simple acceptance. Imagine doing a ritual in which the next day you wake up being all those facets of yourself that you have kept to yourself for fear of being judged or not being understood and well, you realize that it is the best thing that could have happened to you. That's what happened to me with the book, I managed to remove the shell to many of my hidden corners and the reception of all my environment has been very, very positive. This book has liberated me, I feel like myself but in a thousand different ways.

Self help books have a reputation of being preachy. How clichéd it sounds when someone says that the answer you’re looking for is within you. People often look out for magical remedies or some one-size-fits-all advice. Oftentimes people forget that the real knowledge lies in simplicity. When you don’t overcomplicate things, you are meant to understand your feelings better.

Be you, divided into chapters that talk about emotions and issues that we face regularly. Each chapter feels like a cosy hug. The beauty of self reflection is that it works only when you experience a range of emotions. The best thing I like about this book is that it gets as deep as its reader. It depends on you and your mental state that how you perceive this book. For someone who is a beginner, this may seem like too much, for a person who has already been through things, it may seem relatable. If you think about attachment, relationships, purpose and seem to end nowhere with your thoughts, this book may serve as a good starting point.

Chris Cirak has covered almost all major topics that a person deals with. Simple, thought-provoking, and effective, this book is a great read and you can also take it as a workbook and come back to it, to add your thoughts and takes on the topics. The author Chris Cirak is already specialized in a lot of things, a book on self-realization is just another feather in the hat.

Self-care and self-reflection are never-ending. Cirak’s insights will make you think. You will stop and think about your emotions. If we start doing this, the bare minimum, the author’s job here is done. He literally kickstarted your life.

Really Good Stuff

I can see the difference in the mirror between days I feel less and days I feel more. On the best days I can see the sparkle and my face feels complete with mysteries hidden in my eyes. On worse days, everything looks so flat, dull and out of place like my sparkle was extinguished. Thought awareness is an excellent point. So far I have just decided that some things I think are horrible and I'm not going to listen to myself because I can be a better person than that. I'm really bad about trying to preplanned things even as small as what order I'm going to put my stuff away after I finish eating dinner. If someone's by the sink I try to throw my napkin away first, so I could really use some detachment in that area.
