Sometimes all we can do is hope things will turn out exactly as they’re supposed to ...
A fairy-tale wedding in a castle should be a dream come true for Isla. Unfortunately, she’s not as taken with the idea as everyone around her. While her family and Logan organise everything, she’s left feeling that her opinion doesn’t count.
Meanwhile, Lexie is dealing with family problems of her own. Her dad doesn’t approve of her relationship with Nick and is determined to cause problems for the two of them.
Elspeth finally has everything she wants: Rory has moved to Skye and they’re living together as a proper family. But is that enough for her? Throwing herself into a new business venture stirs up problems in her relationship. Can she find a way to fix them? Does she even want to?
When nothing seems to go to plan, maybe the best thing to do is embrace the unexpected and hope that everything will be okay in the end …
Hannah Ellis spent many years working in childcare before deciding she'd like to write books. When she's not busy writing she likes to read, drink tea and eat chocolate. She also enjoys yoga and jogging.
If you love a wedding, then you won’t want to miss the latest book in the Loch Lannick series!
As much as I love a wedding, they are stressful. Well for the bride and groom and anyone organising one. Nothing ever seems to go to plan. The idea of having one in a castle was wonderful and this book is the closest I have gotten to being at one held in such an idyllic setting. Don’t get me started on the wedding cake! Elspeth could make me one any day. My mouth was literally watering every time the cake gets a mention.
As always it was great to catch up with everyone. Lexie and Nick are loved up and I couldn’t be anymore happier for the couple. Although sadly her dad doesn’t seem to agree and I kept wanting to give him a good talking to, to make him see sense. Poor Elspeth is having doubts of her own. My heart went out to this young woman who has had a lot to deal with for her young age and the insecurities that she is experiencing.
Finding Hope at the Loch swept me up in its pages and I didn’t want to put it down. It’s full of warmth, empathy and endearing moments. If you are a fan of the author’s Hope Cove series, you will be pleasantly surprised with a cameo appearance from two of it’s characters. I know I was and it made me want to go and revisit those books. Wonderfully romantic and uplifting, I can’t wait to read the remaining books in this series!
Possibly my favourite Loch Lannick book yet! When Nick and Lexie met Tara and James, I was so excited and happy to hear more about their future together! It's such a clever and lovely way to continue their story, and drop hints about Josie and Amber's lives too! Overall a beautiful book with an amazing plot and storyline. The writing skills just make this book perfect. Well done, this is outstanding! 💕

I love Hannah's books! I can hand on heart say she is my favourite author ever! This book was everything I wanted it to be.. But then to have Tara and James from the Hope Cove series in it too, well, it was just incredible! Cannot wait for the next books in both series! Read all her books that she's ever written and you'll be happy!
This instalment is full of ups and downs just like real life. However it was a great read. Hard to put down in some parts, and stressful in others. Just when you think things are settling into a well deserved happy ever after, the author throws a spanner in the works and creates a heap of drama. I'm not as impatient to start the next book, because I read the summary for it at the end of this book. I'm a bit sad at the direction it's going in.
As always Hannah Ellis has you continuing to turn the pages until you come, unwillingly, to the end of the book! As always, this book has lots of ups and downs for the Loch Lannick folk. I found myself getting frustrated with a few of the characters in this book - but not enough to put it down. It was an unexpected but welcome surprise to see some of the characters from Hope Cove make an appearance. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.
Without giving anything away, I loved the cross over bit in the middle of the book... Have loved all Hannah's books and have been hoping for another Hope cove book for so long. This latest Loch Lannick book didn't disappoint, it had lots of ups and downs and as usual left me wanting more.
All the family, friends, romance, and love you expect from Hannah Ellis along with the conflicts and misunderstandings you expect from the characters in Loch Lannick. Isla and Logan are planning a wedding, Lexie and Nick are figuring out what is next, and Elspeth and Rory are struggling to stay on the same page. Can't wait to see what happens next!
I have followed these books and enjoyed them. They are perfect to sit and read all day on holiday, by the beach, by the fire on a rainy day. Looking forward to the next chapter.
I love this series and this book did not disappoint. I enjoyed the characters maturing personalities together with the inter-twining story from the Hope Cove series. Lots of learning about themselves and a greater understanding of their ever-extending family.
This one felt a bit more tense than the others but wedding dramas will do that to you! Yet again sad for the series to be finished for now but looking forward to the new one.
The characters and humour always make these books page turners. The insecurities and the worries are a constant in the series, but the feel good endings save the day. Love the Hope cove connection.
I have loved reading the Loch Lannick series and feel as if I know all the characters personally. Couldn’t put them down and have read books 1-7 one after the other and can’t wait for book number 8 in August.
This book is very wedding heavy and you definitely shouldn’t read it without having read the other books in the series. That being said, I really enjoyed it! There were cute story lines with some drama but not too much. There was also a little surprise in it if you read other Hannah Ellis books which I absolutely loved!
Loved the story ovErdue and Nick going to Gretna Green and Isla and Logan getting married, lovely story and well written. I enjoy the characters in this series.
I loved this book, another great read I truly am in this book. I will be sad to cone to the end of the series of them. Can't wait to read the next one.
