An Urban Love Story

Remember when Big Dre and Kara had little Dre? Or how about when Nas and Sara had Lil Nas and Tiny? If you don’t remember any of them, I know for a fact you remember when Calif and Natia had twins, right? And we can’t forget about sweet little, innocent Lupita, who loved her stepmother Kierra so much that she was able to see her even after Kierra’s death.

After the untimely death of Big Dre, Calif, Natia, Nas, and Sara decided to reside in the good ol’ mountains of Colorado in a beautiful, gated, and peaceful environment to raise their kids. Despite their trials and tribulations, they all succeed in doing what their hearts set out to do, all while raising their kids.

It’s always crazy how the universe works. You could be a good person, give, love, and do what you are supposed to, but there’s always a chance that fears can catch up to you, like the fear of somebody messing with your kids in any way, shape, or form. This is what happens to the gang as they watch their kids grow into young, talented, and beautiful human beings.

The thing is, when you stay ready, you don’t have to get ready, and the gang has been ready since Making Love to a Boss part 1. It’s the fact that they no longer are just protecting themselves; they have to protect everyone, and if anyone can do it, it’s definitely them.

Meet the kids and get acquainted with Lupita while exploring the personalities and ways of the next generation. Get to know them and why they are loved, envied, and turned on by their peers. Ease into part one, knowing that a wave is coming, and you will not be disappointed!

Couldn't get into it

I just could not get into this book. It was all over the place. Their were to many characters to follow and no real storyline.
