All I want for Christmas is to be home with my family.
Instead my flight’s been cancelled, and I’m stuck at the airport.
I love snow, but not when it’s making me late for a date with my mom’s famous mashed potatoes. And don’t get me started on the apple pie.
As visions of sugar and carbs dance in my head, I settle in with a bag of cheesy chips instead.
Then what to my wandering eyes does appear—a tall figure with unruly dark hair moving through the room, and oh holy night. My heart skips a beat when they meet his familiar, killer blue eyes and panty-melting smile.
Spencer Ward, superstar quarterback (and my first crush)—here inside gate eighteen among a gathering crowd.
He shouts in my direction and surprise quickly comes. When he offers me a place to stay, I think… well, this could be fun.
I’ve always been on Santa’s nice list, but maybe this Christmas I’ll give naughty a try.
Note: Snowed In with the Quarterback is a bite-sized steamy Christmas rom-com treat filled with heat, heart, and humor. Short and Sweet!

This is the PERFECT second-chance romance for the holiday season!
❄❤Combine a snowed in Amy, a hot football player named Spencer, an unforgettable high school kiss, some elves, a hot tub scene, and a drunk belligerent Santa…and you have this wonderful, romantic, heated, quick, holiday read by the wonderful author, Christy Pastore!❤❄
❄❤This romance warmed my heart and gave me all the holiday feels! The characters were wonderful, the setting and storyline were complementary to each other, and there was a good amount of humor and no angst…Like I said…PERFECT Second-chance romance for the Holidays! 5 stars for this snowy romance! ❄❄❄❄❄
White Hot Christmas! This is a fast paced, holiday read. First crush meets forced proximity via snow storm. There is cookie decorating, a scramble to decorate, a hot tub, and even hotter attraction. This book will make your heart flutter with the magic of love and Christmas!
OMG! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED this Christmas novella!!! First it was awesome to get a novella about Amy! The little sister of Alex from Bound To Me!! I loved that a lot! Add a HOT quarterback like Spencer and you've got me! OMG Christy Pastore I LOVE YOU! This novella was such a fantastic story!!! It was funny and hot as hell and just PERFECT! Okay?! P-E-R-F-E-C-T! I tried to read more slowly but that wasn't possible! A wonderful short story that put me even more into the Christmas mood! And now I'm waiting here for my own hottie! Thank you very much! LOL
Wow! This may be a short story, but it was full of a lot of energy. The intense emotions and connections between the characters flowed thru the pages of my kindle. I couldn't put this book down till I was done.
A fantastic second-chance romance read for the holiday season!
Amy Robertsen is a management analyst who is trying to get back to her family in Michigan for Christmas but just so happens to be snowed in an airport in NJ.
Spencer Ward is an NFL quarterback who is heading back home to NY/NJ and happens to be arriving at the same gate Amy is waiting at.
These two have a past, being high school crushes who shared a kiss back in the day. But someone, not sure who, Fate? Karma? Santa? –is tossing these two back together again!
Spencer invites Amy to stay with him until the blizzard is over. After they arrive back at his place the “old” chemistry starts to heat back up. AND as Ella stated let the “Sexmas Blitz” begin! I love these two together. They fit perfectly with their sense of humor and chemistry.
My favorite line in this short read – “Christmas came and so did Amy”. Not sure how long I laughed and smiled after reading that one!
Also – another favorite thing of mine is to find all the hidden easter eggs that Ms. Pastore is known to do. I did notice that Alex & Ella, Ronan & Holliday, as well as Dorito were all mentioned.
Amy and Spencer are off the charts adorable in this holiday shorty! What I love about Christy’s writing is her secondary characters are just as lovable as her main characters. Just an all around entertaining, sexy and sweet story! Just in time for the holidays!
This is a PERFECT read for the holiday season. It’s quick, cute, funny and kinda hot! For something that took me less than 2 hours to read, it’s full of everything you want in a novella. You won’t be disappointed!
This super cute, short holiday novella checked all the boxes for a snowy day cuddled up on the couch! As usual Christy Pastore gives us a sexy story, with a fun couple that you want to have as friends! She knows how to weave a second chance romance. Her side characters are fun, adding magic to the scene. I how Christy gives us little Easter Eggs from her previous novels .... but you don’t have to have read them to enjoy this story. Happy Ever After; just like a Hallmark Movie .... just a bit spicier!!
Eek! This is the perfect read to bring all the festive feels. It may be short and sweet but don't let that fool you, this novella packs a punch! It was fun and flirty and had me laughing my head off in places. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute!!
Amy is despondent when she realises that she won't be able to spend Christmas with her family due to bad weather. But a tall, dark & handsome rescuer in the form of her high school crush, Spencer, helps restore her Christmas cheer.
Spencer is excited that he gets a chance to spend time with Amy, the One That Got Away. He hopes this Christmas will show her that Santa brings more than presents under the tree.
Though fast-paced, this was an enjoyable novella. With lots of humor, heat & some helpful elves, it really is a good Christmas read. I recommend it.
Snowed in with the Quarterback by Christy Pastore is a second-chance holiday novelette told in first person, dual POV.
High school first crushes, Amy and Spencer, meet again years later at the New Jersey airport. Amy's flight has been cancelled, and Spencer invites her to stay with him to wait out the winter storm. It may be cold outside, but there are still plenty of sparks between them.
I enjoyed this story. It was a quick, fun read, full of humor, holiday hijinks and heat.
Amy and Spencer get a second chance at a relationship when they randomly meet at the airport, years after high school. Now, with a major snow storm standing them together at Christmas, old feelings and insecurities resurface.
This was such a fun story! Helpful neighbors, tree shenanigans and a steamy hot tub had me staying up to find out out how Amy and Spencer found their HEA. Loved it!!
This was a fun, sexy little holiday novella. I loved the second-chance meeting at the airport. I loved the idea of being snowed in with an old crush. I loved the Christmas spirit of the story. Spencer was not hard to love. He was sweet, kind, and could cook. Sign me up! Loved his and Amy's story!
This was the perfect, sweet, sexy, and funny Christmas treat. The longing that Amy and Spencer did for each other without coming off as "do-gooders" was great. You could feel their tension, but you could clearly see that they meant something to each other.

Spencer was a perfect balance of sweet ,as well as a dash of hunk vibes mixed in. Amy was so sweet & friendly to everyone . She also had a pinch of sass in her personality.
Sweet and steamy holiday read! Spencer is a dream man and Amy’s adorable! Happy to read her 2nd chance HEA! This is a quick holiday read with all the feels, sweetness and steam that you can handle!
I enjoyed this holiday story! I loved the second chance/school crush adorableness with the steamy side. This is my first story from this author and I plan to pick up more!
I loved everything about Spencer and Amy and they were perfect for each other. This is a quick novella and the storyline gives you just enough to warm your heart and make you fall in love. It was also nice to see characters from Christy Pastore’s previous books make appearances.
Star rating: ⭐️⭐️.25 Snowed in with the Quarterback is a novella by Christy Pastore. It’s very short and is a quick read. I loved the elements of second chances, running into each other at the airport vibes as well as the rekindling of feelings as they spend time together. However, the smutty elements of the book were not written well with some weird details that put me off. It also turned very much into an insta love story which I can sort of understand since it’s a novella but was not for me. I also didn’t like how Amy the FMC was supposed to go see her family on Christmas Eve and when the snow clears and she’s able to go, she decides to just ditch them and not even tell them she’s not coming because she’d rather shack up with her high school crush. Lastly the characters really didn’t have a ton of depth so it wasn’t easy for a reader to connect with the characters. I really wish the author would have made the book like 50 pages longer to really explore the relationship between Amy and Spencer. I think this is a good fluff read for the holidays but not one I’d say to run out and grab.
I loved this story. The characters were open and honest with each other and it was just meant to be. Throw in a disgusting drunk Santa, lots of snow and a hot tub and it’s the perfect holiday read.
