It was as if his focus narrowed, the rest of the people in the room fading out as he took her in...

Jas has spent years regrowing her confidence after getting burned by her ex. Now she has great friends, a beautiful home and a successful career - everything she thought she needed. But two of her friends have recently been Matched, and their obvious happiness has Jas wondering if maybe it's time to put herself back on the market. An invitation to meet with an Intergalactic fitness company provides the perfect opportunity to dust off her flirting skills. But why is it that the gorgeous but surly alien who stirs up all sorts of memories Jas would rather forget is also the only person there who makes her heart skip a beat?

Nkarri is tired. Tired of his awful job, tired of the people he works with, tired of feeling like he’s failing his daughter by not providing her with the life she deserves. But as a single father without a Match, he doesn’t have too many options. So when he recognises his Match among the Humans visiting, Nkarri realises it’s his one chance for something better. For both himself and his daughter. Nkarri knows Jas is wary of him, and she has every right to be. As far as most people are concerned, Nkarri betrayed Jas before they ever met. But he’ll do whatever it takes to prove to her that they can be more than just a perfect Match – they can be a perfect family.

A steamy science-fiction romance featuring a sexy but jaded single dad and a woman who wants to open up her heart again, and might just find she has room for two...

I really appreciated how both lead characters were working through mental health and deviation from sociocultural norms. Both characters worked through feeling a lack of self-worth, which felt authentic and something that most readers can empathise with.

I deeply enjoyed learning more about the female lead who has been a secondary character in the two previous books and seeing the individual development and relationship development. The male lead’s daughter was a gorgeous secondary character.

The story was dual POV, well written, and engaging. I received an advanced reader copy and have presented my honest review.

Together they are stronger!

Jas works for a fitness company that is looking to expand with an Intergalatic company, Cingril Intergalatic Fitness. She has worked hard for years to recover from a very abusive relationship that totally destroyed her self confidence and self worth. Her boss is counting on her to check out the equipment and company to see if they are a good fit.

Nkarri is a physiotherapist that was pretty much forced by Cingril to “create” super fit athletes by somewhat questionable methods. He tried to get them to actually work out and use some of the equipment that Cingril wants to sell to the humans, but they refused. Nkarri is struggling as a single father to make a good life for his daughter Aivy, but its hard because she was born outside of a match. She would be considered to be illegitimate by our standards of today. He is struggling with self doubt and wonders if he will ever be able to find a match that will accept his daughter.

Jas and Aivy meet by accident and immediately become friends. When Nkarri meets Jas he realizes she is his match, but there are many obstacles in their way. The biggest one being his employer. Can they overcome their emotional baggage to become a family?

I received an ARC copy of this book and am leaving a voluntary review.

Really sweet romantic story.
The attraction the couple in this story has to each other is less sexual compared to the other books in this series and more of a practical relationship based on a need for support and growth with a family unit.

These characters are so relatable and have forms of post traumatic stress, anxiety, feelings of inferiority and other negative thoughts. In the author's note at the end, she takes the opportunity to educate the reader about verbal and emotional abusive relationships, and anxiety disorders and I loved that aspect. I also love that Nkarri is a single father with a precocious and amazing 4 year old who always brings Nkarri and Jas out of their negative thoughts.

Gave 4 stars because there was no great adventure, the "bad guy" was not brought to justice, and Jas accepted Nkarri's admittance to being her Match way too easily. I know they were both battling an inner turmoil but there could have been a bit more suspense!

I was sent a copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review.
Nkarri and Jas both have issues that deeply affect them emotionally. Jas was the victim of an abusive ex-partner who degraded her every opportunity he got to the point her self image was shot.
Nkarri was abandoned by his ex-wife who literally left him holding the baby - a lovely little girl by the name of Aivy.
They both meet on the space station they work on and immediately Nkarri recognises Jas as his Mate. The journey these two travel together is full of tenderness and self discovery. But can they find love for each other and how will Aivy feel about Jas becoming a part of hers and her father's life?
A delightful read that I heartily recommend.
I have also just added Annabelle Rex to my favorite author's list.

An enjoyable sci-fi romance.

This romance was sweet and slow, with a great cinnamon roll hero and a heroine that had put in the work to recover from trauma and come out the other side stronger. The characterization was excellent in this novel, and the development of the romantic relationship was sweet. There were no danger or adventure elements, so that was a little disappointing, but that was not the kind of story the author was trying to tell. This romance really reminded me more of a low stakes contemporary romance instead of the typical high stakes sci-fi romance or romantic suspense novel I usually like to read. This might be a good book to try if you like modern contemporary romance.

Perfectly perfect

What a wonderful story about a damaged couple who heal each other.
Jas was emotionally played by a man who enjoyed keeping her off balance and dependant on him. Getting counseling, finding her niche in exercise and positive self motivation, allowed her to be open to love.
Having a child, then having the mother walk away, was difficult for Nkarri. But being the best he could be and giving his daughter all the love and affection he had made up for what he thought she was missing.
Getting together took Jas stretching herself to let others in and Nkarri to overcome his guilt at having a child with an unmatched partner.
And young Aivy loving them both.

💖🧡💚 So cute !

Jasmine travels to space for the first time.
She accompanies her chief Faizal on a business trip.

Sick, Jas can’t wait to reach her destination : the spaceship of a merchant of "Cingril Intergalactic ".

Jas already regrets having left Earth ...

------------

A seventh novel in the "Intergalactic soulmates " series which is devoured with delight but far too quickly.

The two main characters are interesting, moving and well described.

The story is original and attractive.
The end is great !

I loved 🧡

Looking forward to the next book❤🤗

I love Annabel's world building and writing style. I particularly enjoyed Nkarri's style. I was very impressed with the accurate description of dealing with mental health issues in a positive way. I really enjoy romance's where both main leads have issues, like real actual people. It just makes the stories so much more engaging. The steamy bits were really well written and were hot without being sleazy which I also appreciate. This was such a great heart warming read. I can't wait for the next book.

Every single one is fantastic!!!

I ripped through the intergalactic soulmates book in under 2 days. These books are awesome and each one bring you true love and happiness and leaves you wandering if you have a perfect match to somewhere out in the universe!! I want someone that fits in every nook and cranny I have and make me complete. Who knows if we will ever get that kind of match dna program but at least reading these books I can fantasize that I is a possibility!!! Read this series and fantasize and dream with me!!

Annabelle Rex never going extinct for me!

Seven books in and still fresh, new storylines. Thank you Annabelle for giving us new characters with unique stories. I have been disappointed with other series, to the point I abandon a book after a chapter or two. I have never given up on any of your stories, therefore I have never have to worry about purchasing anything you write. I can't wait to read Divya's story, I am sure the series finale will be great!

Nikarri

The story was incredibly slow for about 30 or 40 percent of the story. I almost put it down for good but, I persevered. As the story continued it started to get better. Thank goodness. I hate a book that goes nowhere! The story of Jas, Nikarri and Avie was slow to start but eventually became worth the effort. I can’t say that I recommend it but if you’re willing to plow through the first part it will eventually get better.

This is a book about self discovery for both the main characters, of learning to be independent and strong after a history of being broken down to the point of feeling worthless, ugly and unwanted. It’s about taking a chance to love again and the author does this so seamlessly you can’t help but feel it’s true love too.

Loved It

I loved this story! It was so sweet and heartwarming. The author did a great job handling the ups and downs of emotional abuse survivors, I thought it was handled extremely well. And for the Nkarri to be trained and able to recognize the signs was icing on the cake. This was probably the sweetest book in the series.

A very sweet story. Jasmine's character shows personal growth and how one can build themselves back from a verbal and emotionally abusive relationship. While Nkarri's character shows the good that can come from the bad. This author plays with the gimmick of the fitness industry while also showing that not all are bad, you just have to look past the salesman to find the truth.

Sweet

Nkarri and Jaz’s story is a sweet, sweet one.
The perfect Match scenario in the Intergalactic Soulmates series is hard to wrap your head around especially from today’s perceptive were the divorce rate is over 55%. One can only imagine is such a thing were possible.
I like how Annabelle Rex addresses in her books the problems or other sides of the Perfect Match!

Great series

I love these stories. Strong women. Great men. I was a little concerned by some of the comments but although the characters come with some baggage. The story isn’t too angst filled and flows very nicely. I will read more by this author.

Exercise and the alien

Jas is on a space cruise to check a possible new Intergalactic partner when she is saved from a young alien not bright enough to understand the consequences of the gravity increase of the equipment on her human body and she is saved by Nikarri.

Wonderful sci fi romance

Jas's installment is a lovely "feel good" book featuring great characters with believable emotions. I am so glad I found this series. The lack of war/ violence/ death is such a refreshing change from the majority of current science fiction books.

Jas is a influencer and is along on this trip for her honest opinion on alien fitness tec. She is not looking for love and hasn’t taken the match test, she is healing from her previous relationship which has left her with anxiety.
Nkarri is hurting he’s was left holding the baby when his partner was matched he doesn’t want a human mate.
I love how this story has its happy ending but touches on mental health and how we don’t heal a the touch of a button but over time with love and openness.
