Three alpha heroes. Triple the trouble. From a USA Today Bestselling author comes a bundle with three first-in-series action-adventure alien romances featuring abductions and visits to Earth, shapeshifters, fated mates, and feisty bodyguards. Alien Shenanigans Snared by Saber, Middlemarch Capture 1 When a feline virus on Earth wipes out much of his race, Saber Mitchell moves his shifter family to the jungle planet of Tiraq. To provide an income—and keep the testosterone-fueled males from killing each other over the lack of mates—Saber opens Middlemarch Resort, specializing in women’s capture fantasies. Unbeknownst to the women, some captures will be more permanent than others. Janaya, Alien Encounter 1 Janaya is a bodyguard on a mission. She must protect her Aunt Hinekiri from mercenaries and return to Dalcon in time to take her captain’s exam. A simple assignment for an officer of her caliber—except nothing goes as planned. Their spaceship crash-lands on Earth. No spare parts available. Big problem. Captured & Seduced, House of the Cat 1 Jockey Camryn O’Sullivan is on a downward spiral after the death of her husband. When aliens kidnap her, she’s both terrified and reluctantly fascinated by Ryman Coppersmith. She’s positive the weird attraction to her abductor is an anomaly. Something to ignore. She’ll train the aliens’ horse, and they’ll return her home. Simple. There’s no need for sex or a stubborn male kitty-cat to replace the precious memories of her husband. You’ll love this paranormal alien shapeshifter romance box set because it contains sassy women who know what they want and strong, alpha men who will protect them to the end. Oh, and a little humor, a few secrets, and some danger and suspense to keep things interesting.
USA Today Bestselling author, Shelley lives in Auckland, New Zealand with her husband and a rambunctious puppy.
Typical New Zealanders, Shelley and her husband left home for their big OE soon after they married (translation of New Zealand speak - big overseas experience). A year long adventure lengthened to six years of roaming the world. Enduring memories include being almost sat on by a mountain gorilla in Rwanda, lazing on white sandy beaches in India, whale watching in Alaska, searching for leprechauns in Ireland, and dealing with ghosts in an English pub.
While travel is still a big attraction, these days Shelley is most likely found in front of her computer following another love - that of writing stories of romance and adventure. Other interests include watching rugby and rugby league (strictly for research purposes), being walked by the dog, and curling up with a good book.
First story was okay, once you get past the concept of a resort geared around abduction and rape... (Really?)
Second was surprisingly dull, just a horny cop and bickering aunt and niece who I assume were supposed to be funny.
Third was best, a complex story with a villainous brother and a difficult race (with hell horses? *snicker*) Ending wasn't much of a surprise but it satisfied.
Still, either I'm completely desensitized to the concept of aliens or these came from the most unremarkable quadrant of the galaxy.
This book is so much better than I thought it was going to be. I love this book! There is so much going on in it and there so many details. I love how everything down to food is different. I hope that others will read this book because the characters are full of life and full of it sometimes. My favorite characters are Saber and Eva. These two characters are in the first story in this book. Which is my favorite story out of all of them. This book is full of sexy times, fun times and funny times. It's full of love , sex, and weird times that become everything you want it to be and more.

Three books (first in different series) by the author, and all three were a pleasure to read. The first is about feline shifters who've opened a resort, trying to cater to female fantasies of capture - and planning to make some captures more permanent to counter the lack of mates. In book two, bodyguard Janaya wants to protect her quirky aunt, only to have her crash the spaceship on Earth, and then being discovered by a very handsome law enforcement officer. The last one is about Camryn, abducted by alien Ryman, to help him train hell horses, as he has to win a race - but what about that unexplainable attraction between them? All three stories have very likeable protagonists, and the female characters are not damsels in distress needing rescue (unless they so wish, of course), but strong women who deal with life's challenges as best as they can. Add to that good plots (yes, there are plots around all those steamy scenes!), a very good and captivating narration style, and lots of humour, and you cannot go wrong. I want more of this author, definitely!
What an adventure!!! It is 9:00 in the morning and I have been up all night. I just had to keep on r reading this story. I particularly enjoyed The House of Cat novel. It is my favorite one of the three. It had all the elements I enjoy. The suspense kept me on the edge of my seat until the end. There are surprises until the end. I won't say anything more. I don't want to spoil your enjoyment. I highly recommend it to the genre lovers. The only thing I regret, the link to join this author's newsletter did not work. I would have enjoyed reading other stories by this author.
SNARED BY SABER is about a black cat shifter from earth fleeing a virus that killed most of his clan. So they opened a resort hoping to ensnared mates. Eva is owner of three restaurants on another planet. Will this be Saber's mate?
ALIEN ENCOUNTERS : JANAYA is about an alien bodyguard wanting to save her aunt, Hinekiri. Janaya meets Luke, who is sheriff of a small town on earth. While the aliens tries to fix their spaceship, battle another alien's race, and run into hilarious troubles.
CAPTURED AND SEDUCED is about Ryman, a cat shifter wanted for murder, needing to win a bet kidnsppet Camryn, a horse jockey. She is training a hellhorse to win a race. Can she do it?
These different fast paced stories have characters that are unique, quirky, and hilarious. I enjoyed the quirky nature of the characters presented. Other readers will like this sampling of various series, too. Highly recommended for enjoyable entertainment value.
My favorite is the third story, where we learn more about Ry Coppersmith, a foundling raised by The House Of The Cat, and when he finds his mate, a woman kidnapped from Earth.
I enjoyed this collection, each story held my interest. I'm looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Shelley always pulls you in and keeps you interested. She makes get involved in the characters lives. I love her stories.
Enjoyable reads, each of the 3 stories provided a separate adventure. The stories were not cookie cutter stories but each had an adventure a different type of shifter, there was funny sections and great sex!
I couldn't read anymore after the "hero" laments all the suffering the heroine has been through (picked up by giant bird of prey, almost eaten by cannibals, etc) but says it was all worth it for them to be together. All her suffering was totally worth it for him to get what he wants! Ugh.
Two people who went together. They found a he'll horse and she was going to train it for the up coming race.. So much more happiness in this storyw it was a joy reading ig. I would. Highly recommend this box set.
Disappointing - great potential but needed more character development in all 3 stories. They read like outlines with the only thing fleshed out the sex scenes
This set consists of three first in series alien romances by Shelley Munro. I own all of these books separately, but I got the box set through Booksprout as an ARC)
Snared by Saber (Middlemarch Capture #1)
Great romance! Saber and his family of feline shifters have fled Earth due to a virus that was killing off their kind. Now they need to find mates before the male members of the pride kill each other. Starting a resort where they can attract single women that wouldn't mind being "captured" by the right man is a good start. Now they just have to find the perfect women to capture and convince them to stay and mate with them.
The first "capture" doesn't go very well. The two women they picked have no family to miss them if they disappear, but at least one of them is not going to be kidnapped without a fight. Eva already has plenty of problems and being woken up by a man determined to carry her off is not going to be one of them. Well, maybe it is, but he will know her wrath. Though Felix was supposed to be the one to tame Eva, it seems that Saber is going to get the honors when she is snatched by a huge bird while trying to escape. Saber grabs her legs and goes along for the ride. Now he just has to get them back to the resort, but not before convincing Eva that he belongs with her and she belongs with him. He is up for the challenge, and it will be a challenge.
Can't wait to read the next book in the series.
Janaya (Alien Encounters #1)
Cute story about two female aliens who are forced to land their ship in a field in New Zealand. Janaya is a bodyguard who has invited herself along on a trip with her Aunt Hinekiri to protect her from the Torgons who want to steal her star charts. When their ship develops mechanical problems they are forced to land. Unfortunately, their less-than-stellar landing is witnessed by some of the locals. Then she manages to imprint on the first earthling she sees because she didn't have the proper inoculations. Well, he is hot so that part isn't too bad.
Police Constable Luke Morgan has a lot of baggage in his past. Now he would just like to do his job and take up fishing. The reports of an unidentified flying object in the area are making him miss his steak dinner. What he finds when he gets to the scene is enough to stop him in his tracks. A space ship, two women, and a talking dog are bad enough, but when she almost shoots him and he falls over a cliff and she flies down to save him, he almost loses it. Then the purple guys with strange weapons show up. Watching Janaya dispatch them is just plain hot.
Can these two actually make a go of it or will the alien hunters and the UFO nuts spoil everything?
Captured and Seduced (House of the Cat #1)
This book has a little bit of everything: from an alien cat shifter to some horselike creatures that seem to like to fight and will eat anything, including humanoids. Ry and his motley crew need someone who can train a horse. After much research, they choose an Earthling named Matt, but somehow get his sister Camryn instead. To keep them from going back after her brother, Camryn agrees to train the animal. Camryn has a little bit of a drinking problem since her husband died. She is a jockey but has not had an easy time getting any rides since her jump off the sobriety wagon. She can't figure out why she is attracted to Ry when she has not wanted any man since her husband's death.
Ry is having a little bit of a feud with his brother. (Well, actually Ry is adopted so his siblings are really no kin to him.) Talor has framed Ry for murder and Ry can't return to his home to visit his family if he wants to remain out of prison. If he can beat Talor's horse in a race then his brother will get the charges dropped against him. (If you believe that I have some swamp land for sale.) Ry discovered that he is a feline shifter but he has no idea who his real parents are or where they were from so he knows very little about his condition. His immediate sexual attraction to Camryn seems different from his prior mating urges. His cat seems to calm around her and become more controllable. What does it mean? He needs her help to catch and train a hell horse and promises to return her to Earth afterward. (I still have that swampland for sale.)
I won't tell you more. The story takes a long, curvy road to the finish. Enjoy.
This bundle with three first-in-series action-adventure alien romances features abductions and visits to Earth, shapeshifters, fated mates, and feisty bodyguards. This is the perfect change to get a look at the three series books to see if you want to explore further and get the rest of the series! For me, it’s pure temptation! The blurb will give you a quick summary of the contents of each book. Titles included are: ** Snared by Saber, Middlemarch Capture 1 ** Janaya, Alien Encounter 1 ** Captured & Seduced, House of the Cat 1
These books have lots of action and intriguing characters within the fast-paced story lines. They hold the reader’s attention and provide a very enjoyable read which you can then choose to continue into the next book in that series, or go on to the next first-in-series included in this set. With this variety, you can pick and choose which to read first, read them all one after the after, or read one and get the rest of the books for later. The choices are endless!
Three and a half stars. This is a collection of three books that don’t really have much in common so I need to review each one separately. Before I do that you should know that all three of them are full of sex. Snared by Saber is a poorly conceived idea. There is no explanation why the brothers must kidnap their prospects instead of wooing them. They have access to meeting lots of women through their resort. Just no on this one. Alien Encounter is much better if a little silly in places. In this one the female is the alien and the hot guy is the human. A nice change of pace from the hot, hunky alien stories we are used to. Captured and Seduced is a mixed bag for me. Suspend belief and just go with it when Camryn is mistaken for her twin brother and kidnapped to help train a hell-horse. It dragged in places but also had me laughing out loud in others. There is a little something for everyone in this collection but I would suggest checking out the individual books if they are available.

This boxed set didn’t quite live up to my expectations. While I’d give the first of the three stories a 4, I wouldn’t be able to go that high for the other two stories. The Middlemarch book was the first in a series that definitely seemed like a series worth continuing. The book with the lavender space aliens kinda got old quickly. The talking dog shtick got old quickly. The third book of the series never caught my fancy sufficiently for me to call it interesting. Not sure if these were all Shelley Munro books or if this was just a group of books she pulled together with two other writers. It’s not something I’d keep to read a second time in the future.
