Would you enjoy reading it again: No. It was a cookie cutter. There were no jokes. No good descriptions of environments. The characters were flat with no personality. - 1
SUMMARY: *SPOILERS* A guy is a billionaire because his family owns a publishing company; the family is upset with each other because the brother is lazy and doesn't want to work for the company anymore. The family goes to a Christmas Inn to celebrate Christmas where the owner is a woman who ends up falling in love with the billionaire. The billionaire keeps his money a secret because people treat him differently. She finds out he was keeping his money a secret and so they stop seeing each other. But weeks later he puts an ad for her inn in his publishing magazine, which drives up business. She realized the inn is so special because her grandparents did it TOGETHER and so she ends up marrying the billionaire.
Did you enjoy the plot: It was entertaining but I could have done better, potentially predictable. Despite being cookie cutter, I still enjoy these type of plots ~ but if it wasn't an audiobook then it would be a lot lower - 3
Did you enjoy the writing style: It stunk; no descriptive language and nothing to keep the reader guessing or intrigued - 1
Good ending? Very predictable and boring- 2
Format: audiobook (2x) while lifting Average rating: 2 stars.

This was about two people who did not know for sure how to trust someone. She was alone trying to run her Inn and he was finding it was hard to trust that someone would love him more than his money. He had been hurt in the past so he found it difficult to share his life. She was focused on keeping her grandparents Inn running now that hey were gone. He and his brother and their parents came spend Christmas and they really connected but he forgot to be fully honest about who he was. Eventually they found a way to make it work.
What a lovely tale. Stories about billionaires and their love interest who doesn't know how much money they have and only loves them for who they are rather than their wealth are my favorites, as are Christmas stories. I read this author's book for the first time, and I loved it. I have already ordered the next two novels in this series because I was enamored with this one from the first page. I heartily endorse this book. Hanna Jo Abbott performed admirably.
I don't know why she was so upset about his family money, I don't think that many people discuss their finances in the first week of knowing each other. Seems kind of childish to let that be a killer in the relationship department. It does seem to be a theme in other books as well. I am happy with the overall storyline and the characters. I enjoyed the first book in this series as well. Looking forward to the next book.
Sweet Christmas story with Logan and Eva. I get that Logan wants to be certain to find love for himself and not because of his money and is Eva enjoying Christmas in the inn that is left to her by her grandparents. They both have a hard time with opening up and letting others into their lives which adds some great moments to the story. Feels like a great story for Christmas that can read on its own.
The descriptions are so great that I'd love to call up & try making a reservation. She is running her grandparents inn after some major repairs and remodeling. She spent lots on Christmas decorations & working to make the Inn feel like home, friendly & cheerful. She succeeded.
When Holly is hired to do the Christmas decorations for Jordan's party, she shows him fun ways to decorate and how to dig deep for his creative side. Holly learns about how little some people have and she digs deep for her charitable side. I enjoyed how they both find joy in their lives and romance.
I really needed this book right now. It grabbed my attention from the first page, and I couldn't get enough. It was an easy read, the characters were intriguing, and the message was uplifting. What a wonderful story!
I liked everything about this book. Interesting storyline. Takes place at Christmas my favorite time of year. Obstacles were overcome in a realistic way. Who knew a kitchen appliance would lead to LOVE!
This story was very well written with delightful twists and turns keeping me glued to the very end. Such a sweet and clean story. You can’t go wrong reading this series. Hannah Jo Abbott is e very gifted writer, never disappoints.
