Cody is finally getting a taste of revenge. A chance to turn the tables on one of the rich guests who’s used him.

A spoiled pretty boy just made the mistake of betraying his rich husband, and Cody’s been given the job of breaking the young stud and getting him ready for sale. But turning a stubborn rich kid into a docile slave is harder than it looks. And the new catch is going to fight Cody every step of the way.

Cody can’t afford to screw up. At the first sign of failure, the Boss will kidnap and enslave his brother. So Cody’s got to keep the new boy in line. And he’s got to keep the Boss amused— at least until he can figure out a way to kill the fat bastard.

But the Boss isn’t the only one making Cody’s life hard. For the last two years, Nick has been the Boss’s top boy, the one who trains all the new captures. Now Cody’s threatening his position. And there’s only room for one of them at the top of the heap.

Nick and Cody are after the same things. So will that make them unlikely allies? Or enemies battling to the death?

Bromance or brotherhood? What can go wro aftng?

Cody is trying to protect his unaware brother. And his ass. But many things happen at the resort that keep things in question. Rescue? Maybe or maybe not. Top Boy? Not after the auction. First Boy Investigations or Fine Boy Injections? Who do you trust? And how do you recover from new boy problems that bite instead of suck? New training assignment as the clock ticks down the rabbit hole to find another delay.

It was interesting seeing the role reversal in this entry, with Cody taking the role of groomer. Despite Dane being a complete asshole, it was still brutal seeing him being sold off as a sex slave by his husband, even though it was a really good storyline. Despite Cody having to adapt to his situation in order to save his brother, it was still eerie seeing Cody groom and punish Dane. I know that Cody was taking some of his anger out on him and trying his best to train him in the limited time limit, but Cody was cruel and almost enjoying it, and it was sad seeing Cody look so similar to how Nick was portrayed at the beginning of this series. Dane was an asshole and did use Cody as a sex slave, but seeing Cody like this was just another way of the Boss forcing Cody to fit into his new life, and it was working. Although, I have to admit that it was satisfying seeing Connor/Cody get some power and confidence back after so long of being beaten down. The small mentions of Jake were so sad, Cody feeling guilty for dragging him into this world and the pain of knowing he’s halfway across the world and they’ll most likely never see each other again was so brutal to read. I still believe that the last scene between Connor/Cody and Jake was Jake’s way of telling him that he really did love him. I loved seeing Mr. Smith’s introduction into the story. I liked finally seeing someone in Connor’s corner and I liked seeing Mr. Smith and Connor act for the cameras while they talked about the rescue plan. I liked seeing Mr. Smith and Connor pretend to have sex, and I liked seeing Connor try to actually have sex with him and Mr. Smith refusing and telling him that Connor was too brainwashed to properly consent. I anticipated the plot twist that it was all a test for Cody, but the author did an excellent job at making it more impactful by having Luca pretend like it was all real. It was so cruel and evil, but I admit that it was hot seeing Mr. Smith invite Luca inside to properly fuck Cody, and seeing Mr. Smith go from kind undercover FBI agent to just another criminal was darkly genius. The sex scene between Mr. Smith, Luca and Cody was one of the hottest so far. I liked the detail that Mr. Smith was an actual FBI agent, just on the Boss’s payroll. Every time that I think that Connor can’t be humiliated even more than he already has been, they manage to find a way to bring him down even lower. Every time I think he’s reached rock bottom, they find a way to go lower. Despite it all, there’s a piece of Connor still fighting back, and that makes me love his character even more. With only two entries left in the series, I’m worried for Connor.

1,5 ⭐️ i loved that ending, very tense and twisted! but the fbi guy bit was extremely disappointing. after getting my attention peaked for literally nothing, i had zero interest on reading yet another long scene of cody being violated, much less by the fucker himself. was that scene supposed to be hot? because, between my disgust for the guy and luca, one of the most insufferable characters of the series, i only felt bored and betrayed by the author – he'd promised way more interesting stuff when he introduced the fbi guy, and there was i, trapped reading one more repetitive assault that didn't need to be fully narrated.

not only that but, since dane's breaking was a control c + control v of cody's, i also had almost no interest on it outside the parts where different stuff finally happened. i started to skim dane's scenes at some point. should've done the same to fbi guy and luca's scene.

if cody's brother does end up getting caught, it'll be a chance to change things up, adding more horror, drama, and a relationship that matters! now, i'm the last one to shame people on their taboo kinks, but i truly dislike fraternal incest as a kink, so i hope the author writes it in a guilty, angsty, horrifying type of way instead of a "sexy" one if dylan is ever kidnapped.

I can't get enough of this series!

I love that Cody is so far removed from the jock that first came to the island that he doesn't hesitate to be just as cruel as any of the Boss' actual employees. He's been conditioned to obey and to provide sexual services, but he's also losing any connection that he had to his past and his sense of self. If he got off this island, what would he do?

I'm surprised that Dane proved to be as challenging for Cody as he did. Dane wasn't particularly strong minded, or smart. Certainly not as intelligent as Cody. But I think that this was down to beginner's overconfidence, and Cody isn't going to be making the same mistakes again. I think that the Boss is trying to groom Cody to become a bit of a sociopath. When he's done, will Cody willingly, and maybe even eagerly, cooperate?

Also, Nick's warnings to Cody seem really heartfelt. He told Cody that the Boss doesn't make deals with his slaves. He told Cody that Cody really doesn't want Nick's job. Is this a pattern that the Boss has used before? What happened to Nick, and what was he cajoled into doing, that might have given him this insight?

2 and a half stars. The writing is engaging and the story is entertaining, but not only does it cost you $80-$100 by the time the series is finish, it takes 2-3 years to actually finish something the size of a medium bloody novel. It's ridiculous. Does anyone actually know how many episodes there will be, and when the next one will be released? It doesn't really matter anyway. Connor has become as awful as his kidnappers and Jake has gone there is no one decent to care about. So this will be my last book from this author.

An exciting roller coaster

After having read all previous chapters, I can say Josh has a remarkable talent to drag you undoubtedly with him into the learning ride of Cody's life lesson. It is not repetitive, not only amusing but exciting and the twists of the story make it worth the time you take to rush among the text to know what follows. Eager to follow!

Another crazy hot mess for Cody and company!!

Just when you think this series can’t possibly become more depraved and hopeless for our main character you learn you are wrong. Josh Hunter has a wicked imagination and is dark and twisted. Can’t wait to see what happens next!!

Another great installment, another time this author led me by the nose thinking, oh now it's all going to collapse into a predictably lame ending...only to be proven wrong once again. This story continues crackling along, and the character of Cody keeps becoming more and more interesting.
