I’m a dead guy. Before I died, I had dreams to heal the sick. I was also itching to start a family with my wife. But I died at twenty-six. That could have been the end for me, but the universe has an ironic sense of humor, and now I’m a ghost healing dead people. My people crowned me The Ghost Fixer. But something terrible is happening. Ghosts are disappearing, and we don’t know why. Meanwhile, my alive wife’s expecting, and we’re not sure if the baby will be a ghost or not. This is book three in the An OBX Haunting Series.
This is the fantastical life after death of a 26 year old. Yup, he was a ghost--but could occasionally become a breather (what the ghosts called live people, and thus was able to visit his wife. Somewhere along the line she got pregnant and was going to have his baby? A dead man and a live wife--oh well.
He was well known in the ghost community as someone who could fix things--thus his nick name-the Ghost Fixer. What he went through to fix their problems--well you really have to read it to believe it!
This was really so far out of the realm of possibility that I found myself shaking my head in disbelief and at times laughing out loud! There is a surprise ending--you simply will not believe it!!
A great love/ghostly story! It was so laugh-out- loud hilarious in many places and such a sweet story in others. Just hope it's not the last in this series. I really have been enjoying it and would definitely hate to see it end. I enjoy all the ghostly goings on and all the adventures that they get into. So hopefully I'll see more in this series with Jordan, Em and all the ghosts!
I found the Ghost Fixer to be an interesting take on death and the afterlife. It's an entertaining story of one man's experience from finding out that he is a ghost to discovering his niche in helping other ghosts in times of need. There are a number of characters that the protagonist comes into contact with. The author does a good job of pulling the reader into the tale.
