Not The Author For Me

To be bluntly honest, I feel like I read 8 different stories than all of the reviewers of both the collection and individual publications (I took the time to check) which was disappointing - I was looking forward to a new author to enjoy. While I did finish all the stories, most left much to be desired. First the collection is horribly edited to almost laughable levels. All of the stories seemed to follow a basic formula and frequently hinted at information for a character and never came back to it. Several situations were either so far fetched and/or poorly researched (even for a fiction book) it was distracting to what was decent. The adult scenes in the book were often sudden and read very awkwardly to cringe worthy levels. And possibly the most obnoxious feature was the rampant unprotected sex - for one storyline, I could maybe understand, but all eight?? Only one character ever commented on the error of their ways. To those who enjoyed the books, good for you, but I'm glad I only spent a dollar on the collection and don't see myself ever reading books by Crowns again.

I’ve been slowly making my way through this collection of romance fiction. At first I thought it was about four brothers finding love, so I couldn’t figure out why the first story only registered as six percent of the book. When I looked at the table of contents, I learned there were a lot of other love stories in the book. I was torn between three and four stars, so call it three and a half. They are entertaining, steamy, and fun, but desperately needed a better proofreader to look them over before they were released; to the point that it sometimes interferes with the flow of the narrative.

Gunky Mountain Men

The storylines were over all captivating! The first 5 books were all connected to each other through characters. I figured the entire collection was going to follow suit, so I was thrown for a bit of a loop when I started book 6. The last 3 books could have easily been their own series! The editing was also poorly done and made all the books feel rushed, this was disappointing!!!

Hot dam what a great story it had lots of elements like Mafia, criminals, drugs, alcoholic mother, prison time, opposites sides of the tracks and now throw in a baby as well could life get any harder for Jake. Cassie Lorenzo lives a high class life in a small town called Liberty where her family has a Law firm and she goes into law herself and comes back to help her best friend Madison’s brother Jack that’s in trouble and with the attraction between them boiling over in one passionate night results in a baby. Jake is shocked to see Cassie again in town very much pregnant and he knows that it’s his without any doubt. Now he must protect Cassie and his baby from the mob and gets the help from 4 brothers he never new he had. How does it all end I’m not telling get this book to find out for yourself.
This is just one of the books in this collection that is amazing and I know you won’t be disappointed in the rest.

Wow 8 amazing stoties

Thiese are pretty amazing men and women in these stories. The 1st is Brad and Angela's story. Brad is the oldest brother in a family that runs a mountain resort. Next is Cole and Lindsay's story he is the next brother. Each of the stories have believable characters and drama happen. 3rd is Dax and Oakley's story theirs is very exciting it includes an avalanche. Next is Cooper and Haily, they are spin off charactersfrom the previous story. The 5th story is back with the brothers and is Harley and Emily's story. This one takes place in 3 locations. The 6th story takes place in a nearby town called Liberty. This is Abe and Felicity's story and they have triplates! WOW! Book 7 is about Madison and Teddy who is the sheriff of Liberty. The last story is with Madison's brother Jack who is trying to take down crimmal ring. This is his an Cassie's story. They are all pretty amazing.

Hot Mountain Men for Christmas
I’ve already read and reviewed these books before, but tried and couldn’t resist buying this collection so that I’d have them all in one place to feast on. (It’s so much easier to read a single book than locate the next one, download it, and then read it-Lazy me!)
The best suggestion I can give you is to make sure you’re COMPLETELY ready for Christmas before you start reading as you won’t want to put down you Kindle, Fire, or in my case laptop for anything more than another cup of coffee.
DO NOT miss this terrific gift for yourself or for a friend who also loves terrific stories about hunky men (keeping in mind that age is relative and some of us are never too old!)

Finished book one. Little did I pay attention that this was several books included. This is not my style.
It was cute but very typical damsel in distress/former abusive ex.

I really enjoyed the first 4 books and how they were all related to each other. I wish the last four were spin-offs of the first set. That being said, I did enjoy the reads.

I liked the Hunter family, I like that they are mentioned in each of the first five books and that we can keep up with their lives.

However, I found myself reporting many errors in the book that it spoilt the flow. My biggest issue was that a child character was left out of the last Hunter story right at the end, where she was a more important character to that story than others.

Interesting storielines but predictable. Pity the editing and proofreading before release wasn't a better standard. The storied felt rushed in parts.

Did not finish

I read 5 of the 8 books included. While I like the Hunter family, I have a huge problem with the author's writing. It's immature and awkward. The books desperately need a good editor to help the author craft a quality final product. I recommend passing this by.
