All the world's a stage, and Blair is just a player.
No, seriously. She is.
Blair’s life becomes a show when her friends decide to turn it into a reality competition. It’s lights, camera, action for this college witch. Now men are fighting each other gladiator-style in order to become one of her mates.
The bad news? It’s a recipe for disaster that is sure to leave hearts—and maybe a few necks—broken in the end.
The good news? At least they’re no longer fighting her.
This leaves Blair free to worry about all the other things in her life, like the person trying to read her mind, the people trying to kill her, and the problems with the men who are already on her roster.
At least she’s passing her classes. That’s something, right?

I started this series and really enjoyed it but they have turn into a very poor knock off of the Laurell K Hamilton, Anita Blake series. I'm done no more for me.
The series is not complete. I would not have started reading it had I known, so heads up.
The books are good enough to hook you into the story line and keep you reading if you can stand all the errors.
You will have to wade through all the extra, wrong or misspelled words . Sometimes this is really confusing, she when it should be he, etc. Occasionally the wrong character's name gets used. Extra words that should have been removed. There's a LOT of this sort thing. I am pretty tolerant, but I almost quit reading a dozen different times in the first book alone, mainly every time a character felt a shutter. To be fair it is spelled correctly each time, unfortunately people don't have windows on their bodies. The problems do not get better in any of the books.
Over a year ago, the Order of the Kingsmen witches had killed hundreds of people to get to Blair. Most of the dead were now vampires living in Colt Valley, Virginia, which is where Blair should be right now. But the Order put a curse on her which transported her to their club, this one in Greenland, whenever the mundane phrase “I’m hungry” was uttered, But even sitting before a huge feast in the club, she would not touch a bite of that food.
A man at the head of the table made a loud sound and all eyes turned to him – to her brother, Milo, her true enemy who wanted her dead! Her cousin, Queen Lorena, had imprisoned him after finding out he’d murdered so many people, but his freedom apparently was because of her curse. When she was transported, he was as well. Dominic, a Kingsman imprisoned with her brother, was also brought there. And, of course, he was glaring at her, even though he was the one who had kidnapped her a week before. Milo drew their attention to Fenn, the Prince of the Fae Seas, and asked his name. When he defied him, Milo told a girl to kill him. She shot him but nothing happened. Before her second attempt, Blair put up a protective shield, the bullet ricocheted, and the girl was killed with her own bullet.
Fenn had been born a Fae shifter, a merman, but after the explosion, he’d become something else. A vampire hybrid who now wanted blood. As the light suddenly went out and put them in darkness, guns fired and Blair was sure the Kingsmen were shooting themselves to death. Finn came behind her and she opened her shields. With his arms around her, he told her to go and they ran. The Kingsmen came after them. Then Dominic walked toward her, stopping anyone from chasing them; he was letting her go. Why?
Just before they left the hall, Blair stopped, realizing Fenn would burn to death in the sun. But Sirius, one of Lorena’s husbands who could see the future, must have foreseen this and gave Fenn a Marco ring to protect him from the sun. They walked to the water and Fenn put out his hand and Orcas came to them. Because Blair couldn’t hold her shields underwater more than 8 hours, her mother heard and created a portal for the whales to jump through. They finally made it back to Virginia.
Blair asked Bree what was going on. She said the chaos was Blair’s fault. Bree crossed her arms and told her she needed to choose three more mates to complete the circle. Her friends decide to turn it into a reality competition and men are fighting each other gladiator-style in order to become one of her mates. What she’ll do when they are finished, she isn’t sure. But she for now can try to figure out who is trying to read her mind, which people are trying to kill her, and the problems with her men. At least she thinks she may be passing her classes? Is this crazy plan going to work? She was supposed to save the world with the help of six mates, and two were princes. Could she get all of them moving in the same direction?
4.5 stars - More than "a chick with really great hair"
POV: single HUMOR: yes, very funny F BOMBS: yes CLIFFHANGER: yes NEW AUTHOR FOR ME: no
Books must be read in order in this series. Blair is coming into more power in this book.
Thank you to the author for refreshing the reader's memory of who all the characters are, especially when there's time passed between publications of the books in a series (and because my memory isn't what it used to be)!
Although the ARC version had typos that caused distractions, the story itself is a page-turner. After Blair chose half of her harem and now choosing the remaining 3, I guessed who the other 2 would be - but the last member was a surprise. With her men more freely expressing their loyalty, passion, and dedication to her, this book has definitely upped its romance. And with the steam in this one... oh my.
Besides choosing favorites from Blair's harem (especially the new guy, his wisdom and maturity... mmm), my favorite part is actually the humor and world-building. The author has been doing a consistent and great job weaving these consistently throughout. I am so hooked on this series!

The journey this book takes us on is much like the other. It presents a possible future, one that I usually scoff at, and turns it into the spiders web that draws you in. I did not like the idea of the reality show or Najeem or Dominic's wavering loyalty. But again, it is all turning out as it should. I am especially curious how the Fae children will come to play in this series. I was left with a cliffy and I am not sure what will happen next, but I suspect it will be another strand in the web.
This book had fewer mistakes, but this time it was like the story was typed on a phone and the auto correct changed words. Like pants turned into hands in one sentence.
A prophecy foretold. Everyone keeps saying Blair is more than what she seems. But what? She keeps gaining powers and she’s supposed to save the world along with her six mates. She definitely knows three of them and suspects two others but one is denying it and the other’s loyalties are suspect. But who is her sixth? The answer will surprise her, but she needs to make these alliances quickly because the witch coven has told her that a King will rise and be able to control not only magical beings but humans as well and Blair and her men will stop him. I don’t know which is needed more an editor for these books or common sense for Blair
Between the terrible grammatical errors and the asinine ways Blair finds to do the dumbest things I’m glad it’s free bc I would’ve given up after book 1 of Blair’s adventures and still might. The fact that Robin tried to kill her on more than one occasion and yet she still runs headlong into danger to help the same girl that’ll rip her throat out as soon as her memory comes back is stupid to me. I pray the fate of the world is never left up to someone as reckless and unthinking as this chick is bc if it is we’re all S.O.L!
it doesn’t matter how good the story is when it reads like it was written by a toddler
With 44 books in this series, the complete disregard for an editor (or even a drunken attempt at a re-read) is almost insulting. It’s like the only effort put in to the series was in the first book, enough to draw us in, and then we’re abused with bad grammar and plot holes for the rest of the series.
At least Fenn got his name back and the author remembered she spelled Megin’s name with an i…
Although I initially really enjoyed this series, the last two-three books have been disappointing. It seems like the author, Ms. Snow, is churning these out in a hurry. The editing is nonexistent. I started keeping track of all the tense problems, misspelled, blatantly incorrect, and made-up words, but finally gave up when the number became overwhelming. Then there’s the cliff hanger at the end of each book. Not cool. (By the way, when someone is excited or cold, they “shudder,” they don’t “shutter.” A shutter is a window covering. Just saying.)
House Of Vampires 10: Lights, Camera And Action (The Sons Of Vlad Series) by Samantha Snow is a fantastic story that I have loved reading. This is book number ten in this fantastic series that I have been hooked on since the beginning. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about vampires, contemporary, fantasy and paranormal romances.

Blair faces more love coming into her life, attacks from enemies and betrayals. The book is a page turner of suspense.
I could say more accolades save the frustration of what drags the story down. You need to fire your proof reader or stop using AI as the typos, mistakes and apathy of carelessness is the worst I've seen in this latest edition. Please fix it!
Just when I think I know what's coming next, a curve ball is thrown and off we go again on another adventure. If you enjoy going to bed and getting a good nights sleep, pass on this book. Believe me. I can now go to sleep after being up reading this book that I couldn't put down. Another winner. I'm going to wait until tomorrow to start the next one in the series. Sleep is overrated after all.
It’s an entertaining read but you think by the 10th book the author could have found an editor or at least someone to proof read for errors. Sometimes the errors are so bad I almost want to stop reading. But I love the story and want to know where Blair goes, so I’m stuck. Also... nice to see that Finn is Fenn again.
House of Vampires 10: Lights, Camera and Action on Samantha Snow's The Sons of Vlad series brings Blair closer to her destiny. After many trials and mistakes Blair will finally have her 6. Question is will she know what to do with them? Will they be able to step up and keep her safe? Can't wait to Vet the answers in the next books.
I’ve not reviewed any of the books so far but I can’t not do it this time. Get an editor girl. Spell check. It’s shuddered not shuttered. You have so many spelling errors they have gone from just being there to being extremely annoying. Blair is not as much fun as Lorena. Bring back Lorena. Please.
I absolutely love this captivating book with exceptional characters in a world that is so realistic it felt like I was on the journey with them. I recommend reading this book by an extraordinary author that knows how to captivate the attention of their readers
I love this series each addition is well written and developed with a smooth flow to the storyline. The characters are engaging and well developed and the chemistry is undeniable throughout the pages.

Once again just when Blair thinks things are going ok the bottom falls out.Her mates are trying to protect her but somehow things always go wrong.Dominic just kidnapped Blair.
This story just keeps getting better and better! Blair is going to be something else once she fully comes into her power, I can see it already! The Author has done an amazing job on this story! I highly recommend you read it, even with all of the errors!
This author seriously needs an editor! It's so frustrating to get into a good story only to be thrust back out due to a spelling error or wrong word, what a shame! I'd even volunteer to edit for them! Seriously!
What a Fantastic Author! This story line keeps explaining and getting better. It's twists and turns will memorize you! These characters become so familiar that you become emotional.
I have to set some kind of record on how fast I've been reading this series. It's so good. I don't want to put it down. I read for hours at a time. Two books a day.I love it.
This is an exciting read throughout. They all want to be her mate. What will it become of them. Action and adventure and an amazing storyline. I found this book really good to read
To many errors. Love the story and thankful its free with Kindle unlimited, otherwise i wouldn't have bought and read this series after the first book.
