I’m going to teach you, sweetness." I watch as her chest rises and falls rapidly at my words.
"How to give yourself fully to me.”

Her gaze doesn’t leave mine as she stutters, “I- I don’t know if I can do that.”

“You don’t have to do a thing.” I can’t stop myself from reaching out and touching her hair. My hand is huge by her face. I grip one of her damp locks, swallowing it in my fist. “Just let go and be mine.”

Years ago Daphne's father stole from me and it’s time for my revenge. She never saw me coming, but her past, her present, and her future have always been mine.

It's time for her to finally learn just how delicious surrender can be.

A BDSM tale as old as time!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙
Romance: 💚🖤💙
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📙
World building: 🌏🌍🌎🌏
Character development: 😚🙂😁😍

The heroine: Daphne Laurel - she became CEO of Belladonna after her father suffered a stroke. She is working with her friend Adam on a merger of their two companies. Her passion is to work in the lab as a researcher and she is on the brink of a discovery that could help a lot of people. When she attends a ball in New Olympus in order to rub shoulders with philanthropists who fun her research.

The Hero: Logan Wolfe - he hates all the wealthy people that attend events like the ball in New Olympus. Tonight he is enacting his revenge plan against Dr. Laurel, Daphne’s father who once stole something from him and did some horrible things to him. He attends the masquerade ball, dressed as a Gargoyle which closely matches the beast he thinks he is.

The Story: Every year on the day of her mother’s death, Daphne has found a single rose in her office from a secret admirer whom she knows nothing about. The security footage in her building shows nothing each year. This year, she gets a rose the day of the Ball and another at the ball. When she is led through a labyrinth to meet her admirer.

This book is told in dual points of view via dual narration. The narration is done by Brian Meslar and Kelsey-Ann O’Dowd. I enjoyed both of their voices. Kelsey-Ann has a soft and feminine voice which sounded perfect for the naïve Daphne who spent her younger years focused on her studies and is quite awkward around men. Brian has a deep and gravely voice which he made even rougher for the Beast (Logan). However, I would rather have heard his regular voice than that fake sounding rough voice.

The story is good and the romance is super steamy. For my tastes it has a bit too many intimate scenes, it seems all the intimate scenes are just a way to drag the story out for longer since the story itself doesn’t have enough meat to keep it going for three books. The parts where there was more story seemed a bit slow moving.

Beauty's Beast
Daphne and Logans story is so steamy and a wonderful sexy twist on this old fairy tale.
Beauty and the Thorns
Oh my, I love this beast Logan. He has been through so much in his life but he still wants to love ❤
Adam, on the other hand, is a terrible person and needs to be taken care of.
Lee and Stasia write fabulous stories that make the reader insert themselves into the pages and cheer on the Hero and heroine.
Beauty and the Rose
The conclusion to this series was beautiful.
I loved how Logan took charge in the relationship. He was so gorgeously Alpha when he needed to be.
I recommend this series!

DNF @ 30%. Predictable plot, average writing and I’m bored out of my mind. Unmet potential of Beauty and the Beast storyline. Why the high ratings???

Years ago, Daphne’s father stole from me, and it is time for my revenge, she never saw me coming, but her past, her present, and her future have always been mine, but one fateful night changes everything, putting her in the sighs of a man, who has ties to herself and her family, unbeknownst to her, setting off a chain of events neither of them could have anticipated.

Daphne becomes Logan’s new obsession. But he is not the billionaire she thinks he is. There is a darkness within him. She is beautiful, a virgin. He is ruthless and a beast. Logan will give her everything her heart desires, except one thing, her freedom. Because when the sins of the father are visited upon the daughter, revenge is so much sweeter when Logan has been waiting for an exceptionally long time to see his enemies crawl at his feet, for an injustice that cost him. Daphne’s his to keep, and he is never letting her go.

Daphne fights Logan at every turn, but she cannot help but be responsive to the way he touches her, the way he makes her feel, she is determined not to feel, but she has this need inside of her that only he can satiate, for him to take her on a sensual and erotic journey of self-discovery, drowning her entire being in unthinkable pleasures.

Daphne could not believe she gave herself so freely to him, to give into her own submissive desires, Logan giving her pleasure like she is never experienced before. Logan cannot let go of Daphne and neither can she, as she is thrusted into his life, they push each other completely, wholeheartedly, irrevocably until the inferno implodes between them. He asserts his dominance from the get-go, and the spitfire that she is, gives back to him tenfold.

As they get to know each other, they learn things about each other, as their relationship continues to develop, so does his desires for her, desires that could burn them from the inside out. Both developing a bond that comes with love and trust.

Daphne discovers that Logan has very explicit kinks and very dark and dirty desires, she also finds that she has desires herself, to be pleasured, to be taken in any way possible, her wants and needs taken beyond heightened passion, fulfilling this dark, powerful erotic sensual need inside of her and Logan gave her all of that and more.

These characters will impact you in different ways, there story will have you crying, laughing, saying what the f*** to those moments where you hated to love, but love to hate, grieving with them as they fought, healed, and loved.

There is a perplexing tangle of hurt, anger and denial, powerful in themselves, secrets, lies, deception, manipulation, pain, motives, and truths which becomes all the clearer with those deep revelations breaking a family’s bond beyond repair.

I was hooked from the very first chapter right up until the last. The different point of views told a telling story of heartbreak, love, and loss, especially the complex family dynamics of Daphne’s and Logan's family. It holds so much drama, action, mystery, adrenaline seeking suspense, slow burning passion, betrayal, scandal, blackmail, dark romance, intrigue, murder, revenge, violence, vengeance, friendship, lust, loyalty, trust. It will hook you, have you turning the pages to find out more, with themes and triggers that will test any reader, reading this story, it enables the readers to really connect with the characters.

Their story was raw and sensual, as it was powerful and confronting. It was fast paced and thrilling, it made my heart race and soar to unfathomable heights. The author knows how to write, to ensnare her readers to ensure they will come back for more, me I will come back for more.

And those s*x scenes in and out of the bedroom including the BDSM elements and role-playing were downright filthy wicked, sensually dirty and erotic, the filthy dirty talk and language an absolute turn on, taboo, daring, explosive, wrong, physical, provocative, possessive, controlling, oh so steamy, deliciously wicked, dirty, hot, beautiful, dark, naughty, raw, powerful, passionate, wet, dominating, and wild, and there happily ever after is what any reader could want and more, including the bonus chapter.

These two very talented authors have written an outstanding romantic trilogy with an excellent dark undertone & it is a splendid adult retelling of an old fairytale “Beauty & the Beast”. I found the the storyline flowed smoothly throughout the all three books & the plot is intriguing with complex characters.
It is about: two scientists (a rather naïve young woman, Daphne) & (a billionaire with vengeance in his heart, Logon) and just to make their lives even more interesting there is a conniving man (Adam Archer) & a apparently best friend (Rachel)
There is: family issues, villainous villains, action, twists & turns, intrigue, drama, suspense, some humour, secrets, mystery, discipline, attractions, anguish, vulnerability, vengeful feelings, blackmail, deceit, betrayal, devious plans, manipulations, trust issues, threats, danger, confrontations, drugs, treachery, desperation, heartache, compromises, steamy scenes, contentment & a well-deserved happy conclusion.

A solid 4⭐️’s… debating on a fraction increase.

This might sound stupid, but I truly despised the association/implication of this being related to Beauty & the Beast. Specifically because the Disney fantasy of B&B and the grim reality of this book are very separate entities and shouldn’t be connected. I know fantasy and reality aren’t the same… but don’t take something a 5 year old would enjoy and perverse it purposefully.

Perhaps I read a few too many reviews implying said scenario… but that’s what got me annoyed.

That being said… I love how the plot was smooth and forthcoming without being trite or (too) redundant. It was expertly maneuvered and kept me hooked (for the most part). Given I have ADD… that’s quite the feat!

And the sex/sexual exploration… phew!! 🥵😍

This is a collection of three reads that are a continuation of Logan and Daphne’s story. The stories are a dark and steamy twist on Beauty and the Beast. Each character has lots of depth, the stories are fast-paced with great world building and sizzling chemistry. I was hooked from beginning to end. I loved it!

DNF it’s so rare for me to dnf a book. Logan knew what kind of man Adam was yet continually blamed Daphne for EVERYTHING Adam did. Started to get on my nerves. If Logan didn’t do that, it would be a really good story!

A liberal 4 stars
Part One of the series: What's with the over use of exclaiming "Gods", over and over and over again?
Other than that, I'll wait to see how parts 2 & 3 go. So far, I find Logan, very sympathetic and Daphne to be wholly unbelievably naive and weak.

Ok, finished the 2nd and 3rd part of this trilogy. I thought it had a good story, a bit soap opera-y, an in need of an editor to tighten things up.

The Beast And Daphne's Story Is A Dark And Steamy Reimagined Beauty And The Beast Story Set In New Olympus And Infused With A Scientific Spin! Innocence Trilogy Fans Will Love It!

FROM: BEAUTY’S BEAST, BOOK ONE

This is book one in the Beauty and the Rose trilogy (also called Billionaire’s Captive), which is a steamy modern spin on Beauty and the Beast. It takes place in the fictional New Olympus.

Fans of the Innocence trilogy, Marcus and Cora’s story, will appreciate a little crossover between the two trilogies.

The story takes place in New Olympus. It revolves around Belladonna, a research company that until recently was headed by Dr. Piers Laurel. The company's original mission was to find a cure for Battleman's disease, the illness that Dr. Laurel's wife fought and which eventually took her life. When she died seven years ago, the doctor was overcome by his failure to save his wife and was lost to his depression. The board fell under the influence of conniving Adam Archer, heir to Archer Industries, a billion dollar empire. Adam, along with Logan Wulfe, had conducted research at Belladonna under Dr. Laurel. Adam wanted to shift the company's focus from diseases to cosmetics, which are more profitable.

Dr. Daphne Laurel, twenty-six, has devoted her career to research. She lost her mother to Battleman’s disease and hopes to find a cure for others. Her father’s recent illness, though, has brought uncertainty to Belladonna. The company is struggling. Daphne has stepped into the CEO shoes in her father’s absence, but she is out of her comfort zone and the Board is looking for change. Daphne paints a positive picture of her father’s condition to anyone who asks after him, as she hopes that will buy her time with the Board.

Devoted to her research, Daphne has no social life. In fact, she has never had a boyfriend. She does happen to have a secret admirer of sorts, though. Every year since her eighteenth birthday, she finds a single rose. It never comes with a note or a hint of the identity of her admirer. She has wondered if it might be her father, but has ruled it out.

Daphne has attended the Autumn Gala since she was a teen, and this year is no different. The high society event has her representing the company and rubbing elbows with New Olympus’s finest. Marcus and Cora Ubeli, in particular, have been pivotal to Belladonna’s success with their generous donations over the years. Adam Archer seems a little more interested in Daphne than usual this night. He had conducted research at Belladonna, along with Daphne, until he left to run his father’s company. She has been working with him recently in an effort to save Belladonna. They are discussing a possible merger.

The Beast, thirty-five, is going to re-balance the scales of justice, beginning on the night of the Autumn Gala. The masks donned by attendees provide the perfect opportunity for him to blend in with the crowd. He hates the arrogance on display, but he will put them all in their place soon enough. He wonders if Daphne liked his rose this year. She is beautiful but naïve – and it is entirely too easy to lure her away to his castle. He wants everything from her. But first, he must determine if she has been corrupted, or if she is the same innocent beauty that he fell for so many years ago.

The Beast and Daphne's story begins dark and steamy as the Beast dishes out Daphne's punishment. They are lost in erotica as they work through their trust issues. They have incredible chemistry together. The mystery of the Beast’s identity adds to the erotic nature of their non-traditional romance. The Beast’s character is complex (as expected). His two personas – the old and the new – are radically different. But Daphne, sheltered as her life has been, handles both fairly well. The Beast is a dominant alpha male, and Daphne discovers things about herself while under his care. The couple must find a bridge from their past while earning one another’s trust. The Beast has a vendetta, and Daphne plays a role in it, one way or another. But her innocence and sincerity surprise him, and soon he finds that it is she that has captured his heart. This book ends in a cliffhanger that leads to book two in the series, Beauty and the Thorns.

The Beast and Daphne's story is a mix of erotica and complex storylines. It is well-written. The plot is complex. The characters are well-defined. The story is written in first person. The POV alternates between the Beast and Daphne. I rate this book 4.5 stars.

FROM: BEAUTY & THE THORNS, BOOK TWO

This is book two of the Beauty and the Rose series, which is a steamy modern spin on Beauty and the Beast. For fans, characters in other books by the authors make brief cameos in the story. Marcus and Cora from the Innocence trilogy make an appearance.

Logan Wulfe, at twenty-seven, had always been rough around the edges. His parents were into drugs more than parenting and he was orphaned at age twelve. He grew up never having felt the love of a family. He did eventually find a mentor, and Dr. Laurel became a surrogate father figure once he began research at Belladonna. He had worked diligently towards finding the cure Dr. Laurel sought.

Daphne Laurel, at nineteen, didn't have much of a childhood. Her mother was often sick and her father's sole focus was on finding a cure for his wife. To please her father and help her mother, Daphne devoted herself to her studies. At eighteen, she was nearly finished with her PhD. She spent long hours studying at the lab. It was then that she quietly tried to get noticed by Logan, her first crush.

Logan became aware that Daphne was no longer a child, and as tempted as he was by her, he knew she was yet too young for him. But they spent long hours together in the lab, so they developed a close friendship over the course of a year. But Logan's life took a devastating turn when he discovered Adam's scheme to take over the company shortly after Daphne's mother passed. Logan ended up hospitalized and disfigured, eventually disappearing from the hospital and New Olympus.

As the story opens seven years later, Dr. Laurel's daughter Daphne is CEO and her father is in the hospital. Belladonna is struggling. Daphne has just left Logan's castle to check on her father after promising Logan to return to him afterward. She had been held by him for two weeks as part of a mad plot for revenge, but by the time she left they had developed real feelings for one another. Daphne is intercepted by Adam while en route to her father and proposed to amidst a crowd of reporters.

Logan is devastated by Daphne's betrayal. He isn't sure how many times he can break and still go on. So when Daphne shows up at the castle asking for him to return the Belladonna patents, he plans to make her burn for them. He is the Master, the Beast, and she is his slave.

Logan and Daphne's story begins dark and steamy as Logan dishes out Daphne's punishment. They are lost in erotica as they work through their trust issues. But just as they begin to reconcile, Daphne needs to return to New Olympus and the real world. The story becomes plot-driven at this point. The couple's fragile truce is once again tested. The story ends with a sad twist that leads to book three in the series, Beauty and the Rose.

Logan and Daphne's story is a mix of erotica and complex storylines. It is nicely written. The plot is complex (in the latter half). The characters are well-defined. The story is written in first person. The POV alternates between Logan and Daphne. I rate this book four stars.

FROM: BEAUTY & THE ROSE

This is book three of the Beauty and the Rose series. For fans, characters in other books by the authors make brief cameos in the story. Marcus and Cora from the Innocence trilogy make an appearance.

The plot is very complex. To review the series thus far, Logan's life took a devastating turn when he discovered Adam's scheme to take over the company shortly after Daphne's mother passed. Logan ended up hospitalized and disfigured, eventually disappearing from the hospital and New Olympus. Seven years later, Dr. Laurel's daughter Daphne was CEO and her father was in the hospital. Belladonna was struggling. Daphne had just left Logan's castle to check on her father after promising Logan to return to him afterward. She had been held by him for two weeks as part of a mad plot for revenge, but by the time she left they had developed real feelings for one another. Daphne was intercepted by Adam while en route to her father and proposed to amidst a crowd of reporters. When Daphne later showed up at the castle asking for Logan to return the Belladonna patents, he planed to make her burn for them. He was the Master, the Beast, and she was his slave. The couple came to terms again and finally got rid of Adam, but not without tremendous public embarrassment and personal pain. But just as they were finally free, Battleman's disease hit Daphne, an effective death sentence.

Here, Logan learns about Daphne's diagnosis and history with the disease that took her mother's life. History stands to repeat itself as Logan is determined to save Daphne by finding a cure, much like Dr. Laurel before him. Daphne grapples with the relapse of the a disease that crippled her twice before in her childhood. With Daphne diminished physically, she and Logan both struggle with the physical desires that once played such an important part of their relationship. When the couple finally comes to terms with their reality, figures from their past reappear and trouble returns. In the end, the couple earns their happy ending. Hints of a spin-off book about Sebastian St. James, a dark and secretive figure from New Rome, end the story.

Logan and Daphne's story takes a tragic turn when Battleman's disease returns. As they struggle for a cure, familiar characters enter the mix. Logan and Daphne's journey is a steamy story with complex storylines. It is nicely written. The plot is complex. The characters are well-defined. The story is written in first person. The POV alternates between Logan and Daphne. I rate this book four stars.

A wonderful compilation of books, totally captivating read
Beauty’s Beast
Splendid Dark Romance At It’s Finest…..
This was another wonderful book written in compilation by two excellent authors Lee Savino and Stasia Black and I must say that I cannot wait for them to repeat this wonderful success. This is a simply captivated plot that has been written around the traditional Beauty and the Beast and then in true dark romance at its finest.
Logan and Daphne have a connection they are able to sense but for the life are not able to place an exact moment, a particular incident or even a particular time period however, they know there is something between them that is beyond the norm.
Logan is a very dominant character and he knows that this trait is something that is with him in every waking moment of his life and who ever his partner is will have to submit to this nature, fortunately Daphne recognises this fact but is also able to see the softer and more caring centre he holds closely to his chest and guards most cautiously.
However, she knows that he will be willing to demonstrate this side of himself to the right woman and she feels deep inside that they are intended for each other, is this possible however.
This story has many twists and turns and secrets and surprises and once you begin reading will not be able to put it down until you reach the conclusion. A truly wonderful read…
I hope that these two wonderfully talented authors will continue to write together, they seem to inspire each other…..

Beauty and The Thorns
This is a sexy and captivating addition to this series….
I loved every moment of this story it was really wonderful addition to the first book in this series, this was a simply captivating addition to the first book and so extremely well written whenever these two write together it always guarantees a wonderful collaboration.
This book is filled with hot and extremely sexy scenes that are so well described that it is impossible not to be able to visualise the whole scene without any difficulty what-so-ever and to be honest the relationship between Daphne who is just so sweet and pure and as white and perfect as the most pristine rose.
I loved this story. It follows on from the first book in Beauty and the Rose series. It can be read as a standalone but I recommend that the first book be read. All the characters are very well done, real and human. There are plenty of hot spicy sexy scenes and some punishments. I loved Daphne. She is shy sweet and honest. A rarity in her world. I was annoyed with Logan for most of this book. He is so hurt and fixated on revenge. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and I very highly recommend it. This is a hot, sexy, sad, wonderful, well written story.
Beauty And The Rose
Will Logan and Daphne be able to overcome the ravages of the disease and those perpetrating attacks

This is the third book within this series of this trilogy of books that have so far been released, it is a wonderful adaption of the story of Beauty and the Rose. It was been beautifully rewritten and it will completely draw you in and keep you hanging on every word it is a totally absorbing story that leaves you engrossed.

When Logan sees Daphne’s nose bleeding, he believes that the disease may be progressing and that in fat Battleman’s Disease could possibly mean the end of her life and so they are searching for a cure, something that will bring these symptoms under control and that will stave off any future symptoms,

Dr Logan Wulfe has known that what is is like to be treated badly and he as he has learned to live with the scars given to him, the disfigurement that has caused people to look at him as though he is a freak however he has always tried to rise above their petty opinions.

This is a truly wonderful read that will keep you hanging onto every single word waiting to see exactly what is going to happen. Will Logan and Daphne be fortunate enough to get the happy ending they have dreamed of for so very, very long……
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

I had the opportunity to read these stories when they were first released individually and as a dark romance reader, I went back to revisit them as they are now all contained in this box set. The first story, “Beauty’s Beast,” is a story of love lost and love found only to be betrayed in the worst way. It is an unencumbered delight. Daphne is a twenty-six-year-old woman working in a man’s world as a scientist for her father’s company Belladonna. As she spends her days and many nights in the lab, she has never been kissed by a man. However, each year of her birthday she receives a red rose. It is bittersweet as it was also the day of her mother’s funeral. To add some spice to her life she attends a Ball where mysteries abound and she becomes lured into a labyrinth which will propel her into finding the shock of her life and the one person she thought was gone forever. A bit of a slow start, the drama builds until it feels like a tea kettle about to blow its whistle to indicate the water is ready only to end in a cliffhanger where you do not know if you want to cry or scream. These two authors have delivered an impeccable storyline giving a modern day feel to the classic Beauty and the Beast with twists and turns to keep any reader on his or her toes. The second story, “Beauty and the Thorns,” picks up from where the first book left off. Daphne has unwillingly succumbed to a marriage proposal from Adam that she never agreed to leaving Logan feeling betrayed and, on a mission, to punish. Logan has been through the ringer and this gives readers his back story to see why he is the way he is and what is truly driving him. Adam is still “the golden boy” but there are cracks coming through and his true nature is going to show. Daphne is coming into her own as a woman but how long will she put up with Logan’s lack of faith in her to choose him. This is one wild ride with Daphne and Logan as the two twist and turn bleeding pleasure and pain into a new path that they can travel together. The question is will it be enough or will the unthinkable transpire and cause a wedge between these two that they will not be able to recover from? Ending in one heck of a cliffhanger, one cannot help but feel for these two and what they have endured. It will leave anyone gutted and eagerly awaiting the next book to see where this journey leads. The third story, “Beauty and the Rose,” is the conclusion of Daphne and Logan’s journey and it is one compelling read that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The book picks up where book two left off with Daphne and Logan realizing the awful truth that Daphne may be out of time as she has the disease that took her mother. Logan is beside himself and reacts more like a beast but is more determined than ever to find a cure. As Daphne is physically weakened, she and Logan are struggling with the change in the dynamic that was such an integral part of their relationship. As they begin to accept their new reality, the past rears its ugly head. Can these two have their happily ever after? If you enjoy reading dark romance, then this is one series that must be on you tbr list. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Beauty’s Beast- This is like Beauty and the Beast with darkness and twists. Daphne is the CEO of her family’s company after her dad suffers a stroke. She is also very innocent and naive. Adam and Daphne have known each other for a long time and he has started to show he likes her. Adam’s company is going to merge with hers, so she doesn’t lose it. He wants to merge their personal lives also. The Beast has cared and loved Daphne for years. When he is reunited with her, she has been drugged. He takes her to his castle where he wants her to obey everything he says. He wants her to be completely dependent on him and want only him. He doesn’t believe he is as innocent as she seems, however, she is more innocent than ever. These two have a deep connection and Daphne is wondering how he knows so much about her. This is a D/s read, with darkness, suspense, truths unveiled, steam and twists and turns. I can’t wait for more of Daphne and the Beast.
Beauty and the Thorns- Daphne was shocked when Adam proposed to her. He is not the one she wants, but Logan will not believe her. He wants to punish her for what he thinks she did. You do see more of what happened in their past, when she was eighteen years old. The beasts aren’t always those who look like them, they are usually the ones who seem perfect and nice. This is a dark romance and erotic. The connection that Daphne and Logan have becomes stronger, but it is fragile due to the hurt Logan has in his past. The chemistry between them is explosively hot. While Logan is a beast and a monster, he is all Daphne’s. There are times that he shows that softness and kindness. I love Daphne and the beast’s story and can’t wait to see them get their full revenge on all that have betrayed them. You need to read Beauty’s Beast before reading this. I will be eagerly waiting for the final book. I love this series and the characters, and you get to see a couple familiar faces from the first series.
Beauty and the Rose- Logan now knows that Daphne’s Battleman’s disease is back. He didn’t know she has been in remission. He promises her he will find a cure for her no matter what. He doesn’t want to lose the person he has loved for so long. He will battle everything and everyone who stands in his way. I loved the way Stasia and Lee wrapped their story up. There is more suspense, truths revealed, monsters in disguise, revenge, love and some twists and turns. These two have gone through so much to be together. Now that they are close to getting everything they want, Will something or someone come between them and tear them apart?
This trilogy is definitely a dark Beauty and the Beast remake. I loved this story and was hooked from the beginning. I didn’t want to put it down, I just needed to know what would happen next. This story is gripping and the authors just keep you captivated until the end and you will want more. I can’t wait to read what these two authors come up with next. They are a great writing duo and I have loved all of their characters. Snag up this trilogy set.

This is made up of three stories where the reader gets their happily ever after in book three. I would classify this under the tropes Second Chance and a weird Frenemies to Lovers situation. This book is a combination of fantasy and romance as it takes place in a make-believe city.

Book 1: Beauty's Beast (4 out 5)
This was a great story for the setup of the characters. You learn who the beast is toward the end, but it's not rocket science, you'll figure out who the beast is pretty quickly up front. I enjoyed the character intros, it was a great way to show who they are. Daphne starts off as a studious, dedicated scientist in search for a cure to a disease. She's been so focused on finding a cure and being a people pleaser that she neglects to grow as her own person and show others who she really is.

The "beast" is a tortured soul who has grown up with injustices in his life between being abandoned by both parents and then betrayed by his mentor he has returned to the city for revenge and for Daphne.

Book 2: Beauty and the Thorns (3 out of 5)
The reason I rate this book low is because I absolutely hate flashbacks. So, so much. The book is really well written, but I just find it boring to slog through someone's past when you can learn about it in the present.

Another reason I disliked this book a little is because it was getting a bit exhausting of the back and forth with Daphne and Logan. The misunderstands they had between them were so ridiculous and Logan began to annoy me with his inability to listen to her.

Book 3: Beauty and the Rose (4 out of 5)
Beautiful ending. You're finally at the climax of the book where everything goes to the dumpster and things get crazy. I think the authors did a great job wrapping up the story to leave readers with a possible taste of what's to come, but also satisfied with where the protagonists end their story.

General summary
I admire how the authors took bits and pieces of the Disney telling of Beauty and the Beast and tweaked it. Though recognizable, it was still unique and relevant to the story.

This is going to sound crazy, but there was way too much sex. I felt like every chapter I read was sex. I love reading sex scenes, but I admit, I skimmed a ton of them and just picked out relevant components as it pertained to Daphne's sexual enlightenment.

I was thrilled with the happy ending and glad that the authors ended things the way they did for Logan and Daphne.

I’ve read all these book before and love the whole series and to get it in a collection is even better, so enjoy I know you will love them just as I did.
Book 1
This has to be one of my all time favourites in fairytales, it had all the elements that make a book stand out amongst others with similar storyline’s. Daphne Laurel is a scientist that lives and breathes her work and is very naive about things in life and has no plans to change that. After her mother dies from batsmen’s disease she works hard to find a cure and in the middle of all this is the same beautiful red rose that turns up every year on her mothers anniversary.
Now it’s the night of the ball that she has to attend as the CEO of Belldonna and with the soon to be merger with Archers industries, and the CEO Adam Archer is now quite taken by Daphne but she doesn’t see him that way at all.
Now the beast (Logan) wants his revenge against them all after all his physical and mental abuse at there hands starting with Daphne first just to see and hope she is as innocent as she appears to be just like when they where growing up together. This book keeps you on the edge till the very end and leaves you hanging for mores day I cannot wait for the next book.
I voluntarily read an arc copy of this book for an honest review.
Book2
This book drove me crazy about how Daphne is supposed to be so smart but acts so stupid and cannot see the evil before her and gets engaged to Adam and doesn’t know who to trust including her father when all along Logan was telling the truth. You can call her naive but she frustrated me back and forth in this book wanting to be with Logan but is still not sure. Logan for his part is angry at everyone and feels Daphne has let him down by being with Adam and that he shouldn’t have let her go back to them all. Going back to there pasts explains a lot about all the players in this book and I cannot wait to find out if revenge is served in the last instalment
Book 3
This series is amazing and I loved every minute of it. Daphne and Logan’s struggles throughout these books made them fight to find a cure for Battleman’s disease which took her mother and now wants to take Daphne herself but Logan want let it take her from him. Do they find the cure in time to save her and does Logan get his revenge and is there a HEA for them both. This is a must read series.

Beauty's Beast - What happens when two of my favorite authors team up and turn a fairy tale into a dark and dangerous romance? In Beauty's Beast you get a twist on a childhood classic but with steamy and intense sex scenes and an underlying mystery about who is Daphne's mysterious admirer. Logan Wulfe (or the Beast) has loved Daphne since he first saw her studying in a corner of her father's lab. He mysteriously disappeared from her life only to resurface many years later. Can they rekindle what they had before or will circumstances from Logan's past interfere? This is book #1 in a three book series so be prepared for some cliffhangers.

Beauty and The Rose - Finally a fairy tale for adults who like Erotica and Dark Romance! This is the second book in the Beauty and the Rose Series and we get to see more of the relationship between Daphne and Logan and how they struggle to figure out what that relationship is. Part of the magic of Daphne's personality is her innocence but it is also the part that prevents her from seeing the bad in people she trusts. She finally comes to trust Logan/Beast but at the same time she misses clues about some of her "friends" that should have alerted her to their real objective. The last few pages of this book give us a whopper of a cliffhanger that will be dissected in the final book in the Series, Beauty and the Rose. This has been a wonderful Series and I can't wait to see how this all ends and whether there will be an HEA or not.

Beauty and the Thorns - his is the final book in the Beauty and The Rose Series and the ups and downs, twists and turns are finally brought to full circle. I was on pins and needles as I realized that Battleman's the disease that took her mother's life seemed to be trying to capture Daphne's as well. All Logan and Daphne wanted was time to be together but time seems to be something that don't have. I thought that we had seen the last of Adam Archer in Book #2 but it seems he keeps popping up and doing his best to come between not only Daphne and Logan's love but in their quest to find the cure before it claim's Daphne's life. This is a fitting and edge of your seat conclusion to this wonderfully dark but hopelessly romantic dark fairy tale. I love the writings o Lee Savino and Stasia Black but put them together and you get something so very special. Great trilogy that I know you will love.

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest and totally voluntary review.

Beauty's Beast
I love these series by Lee and Stasia. Let me say I really hate cliffhangers and serials but these are so good I will make an exception. And this one is excellent. There is so much going on with the characters, who is out to destroy her business and research. What happened to her father to destroy his health and mother? What happened to the "Beast" to make him this way, who betrayed him. What new twist will this story take in the next book. Will Logan forgive her, what is Adam up to and is he the villain or the good guy?
Beauty and the Thorns
As usual Lee and Stasia have teamed up to give us another good read this series finally is emotionally packed with some unusual twist and turns with the action. But in the end Adam gets his karma. Logan and Daphne finally get their HEA. A new character has turned up to assist Logan in taking down Adam and I hope the next book is about St.James a mysterious character who we know nothing about. This is a fantastic conclusion to the series and I urge you to start at the beginning for a great entertaining experience.
Beauty and the Thorns
Another win for writers Renee Rose and Stasia Black with the second in this series. Again this book is based in New Olympus a fictional world with outstanding characters. Logan and Daphne betrayed by the people they loved, trusted and respected. Finally come together only to now face another deadly hurdle to their love. Can they find the key to remove this threat and get the revenge they desire on the ones who have stolen so much from them. With so many twist to this story it keeps you on the edge of your seat, so hot with strict Dom Logan and his BDSM dungeon. An engrossing read I can’t wait to get my hands on the last book of this trilogy to find out if Daphne can survive this last threat and Logan get the needed closure with the ones who destroyed him.
Beauty and the Rose
As usual Lee and Stasia have teamed up to give us another good read this series finally is emotionally packed with some unusual twist and turns with the action. But in the end Adam gets his karma. Logan and Daphne finally get their HEA. A new character has turned up to assist Logan in taking down Adam and I hope the next book is about St.James a mysterious character who we know nothing about. The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!
Bad boy….check
Bod boy’s crazy brother/friend…check
Bad boy’s Kryptonie…check ….check and check
By the time you’ve figured out who is who and how deep hate can run, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter!
Can’t say I didn’t warn you.
It’s edgy yet always within boundaries of morality. It’s compelling, like Nutella, bacon and oreo cookies had a threesome and this story is their lovechild. I would say this from the very beginning you won’t be satisfied until you have read all three it is one of the stories that grab you from the first page until the last page and then you go back and re-read certain parts just to be sure that is what you read from the start. I love the fact that we are provided with back story explaining the characters and the reasoning behind the behaviors taken. Daphne needed to know the truth behind her father and what he allowed to wrong he allowed to happen allowing hurt to come to another because of his social standing also, pushing her to be the strongest version of herself all that she went through taught her she can get through anything and sometimes you have to give up things to see the real truth behind them and forcing true friends to show their true colors. The Beast took her to show her the truth but also to protect her and for selfish reason. He shined a light on the dirt of one very social ex. of her and to show her the path her life would have ended on also, he never gave up on his research to cure her even though the very disease took her mother he wasn’t going to allow it to take her. I love Beauty and the Beast the movie, but I love this stories so much more but there are a few questions will she forgive her true friends (yep more than one), will she learn to finally love the beast and will the wrongs be right and is there happiness for these two?

Stasia Black and Lee Savino Billionaire's Captive Complete Trilogy weave a wonderful collection together of fairy tales and myths. The two authors collaborated together seamlessly. The stories were written, easy to read, and a well taught out plot. It was vengeful, dark, evil, betrayal, a second chance love. It gives the reader modern day type feel of Beauty and the Beauty intertwine with the classic. Book one and two ends on a cliffhanger with the couple getting their hard fought HEA.
Beauty aka Daphne is twenty six years old and she's a research scientist for Belldonna research company in New Olympus. Not long ago Daphne's dad's Dr. Piers Laurel was the head of the company. The company was tasked with finding the cure for Battleman's disease. This was same disease that took his wife's life. The death nearly broke him causing depression. Now Daphne must step in to continue her father's work and keep the Belldonna going in his absence. Because of the greedy heir Adam Archer of Archer Industries along with Logan Wulfe who believes that Belldonna would be more lucrative if they shift cosmetics instead of disease research.
Daphne spends night and day at Belldonna because she has no personal life. She has never been kissed before, yet every year on her birthday she receives a red rose and no note. Daphne is going to go to Autumn gala to represent Belldonna since the company is having financial troubles right now. Since it's a masquerade gala the Beast is hoping to the scale in his favor at the gala. He went to gala for Daphne he believes that she's inexperience enough that she will be easily persuaded back to his home. The beast was successful in getting Daphne to home and their relationship was somewhat of Stockholm syndrome. Because how can you fall for your captor? Who punishes then you have sex then released and he gets mad it was crazy. I'm going to break down each individual book .

This outstanding boxset includes:
1. BEAUTY'S BEAST
This is one of the most thrilling, mysterious, dubious consent storylines I've read. A true Beauty and the Beast telling with Beauty, an intellectual, naïve, virgin, and a man who wants revenge for what was done to him. Lee Savino and Stasia Black have the unique ability to create characters who interact in such a way as to make you feel like they could be someone you know personally, which tends to pull me into the story. "Beauty's Beast" leaves off with a HUGE cliffhanger making me hope the wait isn't too long for the next one.

2. BEAUTY AND THE THORNS
Did anyone else keep thinking "get your head out of you’re a$$", or was it just me? And then I started finding out why. So many feelings. So much chemistry. So much insecurity. So much evil. I know there are secrets yet unrevealed and as I learned each new piece of information, I read faster thinking there were going to be more answers, and then the shock of betrayal! That one came out of left field for me. And now I'm wondering if things played out naturally or if they were given a push. Only time with the help of Lee Savino and Stasia Black will answer all the thoughts I have going and I personally can't wait. This is a terrific retelling of Beauty and the Beast like you've never read before.

3. BEAUTY AND THE ROSE
I love Lee Savino and Stasia Black independently but when you combine their talents and energy, this is what we get. All the feels whether it's loyalty or betrayal, love or hate, security or fear, hope or depression, sadness, or laughter. This was such a heartfelt, emotional journey that just brought everything to a climax, and what a climax it was. I was riveted to the pages on every word with my heart pounding. Congratulations ladies on a job worthy of so much more than five stars!

Whether you've read each individual book or just reading for the first time, this is one series you absolutely do not want to miss.

Billionaire’s Captive by Stasia Black and Lee Savino is the heartbreaking, intensely dark 3-part series that plays on the theme of Beauty and the Beast…This series is second to none!!! Mindblowing and beautifully written!!! You won’t be able to put it down until you finish!!!
Part 1 is, Beauty’s Beast, a mindboggling, mesmerizing, incredibly addictive story that will keep you riveted until the very end!!! It’s the story of Daphne and

The Beast. She’s a renowned scientist and researcher….intent on discovering the cure for the disease that killed her mother. The Beast is intent on forcing her to tell all her secrets….promises he believes she has broken…what a beautiful take on the ‘beauty and the beast’ theme!!!! This story is gripping, tantalizing, and incredibly engrossing!!!! I was captured from the first sentence!!!! Great read!!!! This writing duo has done it again!!!! What a wonderful read!!!!

Book 2 is Beauty and the Thorns, another mind altering, fascinating, and surprisingly tender story that hooks you and never lets go!!!! It’s the continuing story of Daphne and The Beast. Things are dark and twisted…yet gentle and sweet…in a weird warped way. But, you have to keep reading!!!! This story is excruciating, heart-breaking, wildly intense!!!! Great story!!!!

Finally there is, Beauty and the Rose, the final installment of the Dark Rose trilogy. We finally conclude the story of Daphne and Logan. This was a deeply wild ride with tons of unexpected twists and turns that had my head spinning….in a good way!!! I LOVED this final installment of this series…almost sad to see it end. Daphne is ill and Logan is desperate to find a cure. But, there are so many obstacles…and, the final blow that no one expected!!!! Read to find out this thrilling conclusion!!!!

A Complete Clusterf**k!

I've never hated a book more! It had potential. The first, oh, third or so of the book was good and then things began to spiral out of control until my absolute WORST pet peeve in a book happened--the misunderstanding/false assumption that could be soooo easily cleared up, but the main character just won't say anything to do so! And in this book, the MC could've actually avoided the whole situation to begin with, but just stood placidly by while everything imploded and then afterward, did absolutely nothing to remedy her situation which led up to the love interest making false assumptions and the misunderstanding plot device unfurled in all its annoying, overused, played out, antiquated glory. It's such a lazy way to write! Mainly because it's so dang unrealistic! Nobody would stand idly by saying absolutely nothing while some schmuck destroyed their life! Not to mention doing so knowing that allowing it to happen would devastate their lover. It's just so unrealistic! I hate it with a passion! Then, things got hella crazy! Not even the most dramatic episodes of The Real Housewives of Wherever could top the absolute batsh*t crazy lunacy that continued to unfold as the book dragged on and on and on. It was just ludicrous! More events that could've been utterly avoided or mitigated immediately were just left to fester, and it just kept happening over and over again! The longer the book went on, the more outlandish the plot became until it was so beyond ridiculous that I couldn't even stand to finish reading it! It's just such a hot mess! I finally resorted to skipping to the very, very end just to make sure alien's didn't invade because, honestly, that's about the only asinine plot device that wasn't used in this book! Every other cliché you can think of was utilized in this book until it was just a complete and utter joke! Unless you love over-the-top eye rollingly overly dramatic crap, skip this book!

What a Treat to Have These all in One Book!!!

I read these separately as they were released and the reviews indicate. How fortunate you are able to read in this boxset and not have to wait between stories.

******* Beauty’s Beast *****************************
#1 of 3 – Prepare for “Pins & Needles”!!

OMG. This is so captivating and thrilling. Daphne is a researcher, buried in her work. A mysterious rose appears on an annual basis. Revelations turn her world upside down, and a lost love returns in an unexpected manner.

I was completely drawn in and am anxiously awaiting the next installments!! These two authors absolutely rock when they write together!!

******* Beauty and the Thorns *****************************
Dark, Gritty & Delicious!!

Part 2 of 3 in this wonderfully decadent story! Daphne is caught between men. Her “fiancé” is a man who basically railroaded her into that status. The man she really wants is a “monster” who tests her limits, but also cares for her more than even her own family has.

We learn more backstory and get the viewpoints of both main characters. The inner workings are scintillating and challenging. A fabulous read – can’t wait for the final episode.

******* Beauty and the Rose *****************************
Stunning Conclusion!!

This trilogy keeps you on the edge of your seat!! It is dark, and it is wonderful.

Daphne is dying. She was conceived as a lab rat so her father could use her blood to help find the cure for the disease killing her mother. Her mother is long since gone, and now she is dying. Logan headed up most of the early research, and now that he is involved with Daphne, the stakes are higher than ever.

So many struggles, and so many beautiful moments. This story will leave you wrung out, in the best way possible.

My opinion of everyone in this room would probably leave quite a few of them speechless and maybe even a little on the angry side. But do you think I really care about the feelings of the snobbiest elite? Nope not one iota.
And tonight we'll tonight would be the beginning.
Daphne may have been dressed up to the hight a sophistication but she really was just a nerd underneath.
I should have known better but I let my curiosity get the better and now it's to late.
Only to wake up in a strange place and in the middle of some nightmare she couldn't make heads or tales because he spoke total nonsense.
But unfortunately my dad wasn't any better at providing any answers to my questions and I was running out of time.
It's hard to play someone's game when you don't have any instructions and are left trying to figure out why.
Today he finally got the answer to the one question that he'd been driving him crazy; he just hadn't been prepared for the truth.
Yeah he should have known better that she would be the kind woman to fight him but to actually put herself at risk and for what?
Didn't she realize she was only hurting herself?
However things slowly began to shift in my favor as she slowly but sure changed.
Then came the moment when she finally figure out my secret I should have known she would.
Now she's mine all mine.
But I made one critical error the biggest mistake ever and I'm going to get what's mine.

A Darker Version of Beauty and the Beast

I received an ARC from BookSprout and am leaving my review voluntarily. The story is a dark version of Beauty and the Beast. It is told in 3 parts.

Triggers:
bdsm vibe/power exchange, kidnapping,

Spoilers:
B1 - Beauty's Beast
Logan, scientist, betrayed and injured by his former employer he wants revenge. Very angry but has a soft spot for Daphne.

Daphne, scientist, had a crush on Logan when he worked for her fathers company but he disappeared. She is so focused on work, she is naive about men/dating.

At a company party, Adam (rich guy who wants to buy her dad's company) makes moves implying he want a relationship with Daphne. However, she meets another man and he ends up kidnapping her.

Drama, secrets, sexy time (with a bdsm vibe) ends on a cliffhanger.

Beast/Logan⭐⭐⭐1/2 Daphne ⭐⭐⭐⭐

B2 - Beauty and the Thorns

This is a continuation of book 1, Beauty's Beast.

Triggers:
bdsm vibe/power exchange with no discussions regarding a safeword

Spoilers:
Daphne "finds" herself engaged to Adam. She basically lets everything happen. Of course Logan feels betrayed. Drama then another cliffhanger.

Logan ⭐⭐⭐ Daphne ⭐⭐1/2

B3 - Beauty and the Rose
Since this is the conclusion, I don't want to give any real details. Plenty of drama, sexy time and while I grew tired of both characters in book 2, I felt in this book they redeemed themselves.
Logan ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Daphne ⭐⭐⭐⭐
HEA

I'm wanting to read about Marcus and Cora and Sebastian stJames too.

I enjoyed Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, but this book is a much better version and now it is all in one there is no waiting for the next book. It is full of mystery and intrigue and hot sexy loving, but there is no trust between Logan and Daphne and everything becomes distorted so that when Logan does allow Daphne to leave and come back it all falls apart and his world comes crashing down or so he thinks!
There is trust and betrayal; passion and despair, the past is slowly revealed and the truth starts to come to light and with it a change in perspective for Daphne and Logan. Their relationship is like a teeter totter, up and down with Incredible highs as Daphne’s inner submissive is awoken and desperate lows as Logan fails to trust. Then apparent devastation just when the reader thought it might be smooth sailing. They say the path of true love never runs smooth and that was certainly the case for Daphne and Logan, just when you think they have found peace something happens to shatter it. Their love for one another doesn’t waiver but they have to overcome so many hurdles before they can finally be content. This conclusion is a real roller coaster for the emotions, it also has an interesting insight into the world of drug development. There are a couple of surprise appearances and the introduction of a mysterious character that I hope will appear in the future. The epilogue is everything you would wish for and is the perfect ending for this series.

Somewhat melodramatic… 3.75 stars overall

Beauty’s Beast 3.5 stars
Beauty & the Thorns 4 stars
Beauty & the Rose 4 stars

It was hard to believe that Daphne was a scientific genius with a PhD at such a young age, and for a scientist, she sure wasn’t very logical. She was bookish, introverted, without friends and no experience with men. Overall, she was very naïve, trusted people far too easily, and was too accepting and forgiving of her father’s treatment of her. Her personality did a one-eighty however, as soon as the Beast unlocked her submissiveness, and then she became bold and brave.

Logan had serious anger management issues along with a lack of trust. Not too surprising though, considering his horrendous ordeal when he worked at Belladonna. He was extreme in his reactions, and quick to violence. As a Dom, I thought he was a little heavy-handed at times as well. Despite some possessiveness, he seemed genuinely concerned for Daphne’s health and well-being however.

I found the story at times quite predictable, and thought that many situations in the plot were oh-so conveniently resolved. The story wasn’t particularly suspenseful, but there was plenty of drama, angst, and some duplicity, along with a multitude of explicit sexual encounters, with many based in BDSM.

I received a free copy of this trilogy via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
