In the finale, situations between Em, Delila, Swift and Smoke seem to be worsening, not improving. Though they determined love was enough, the light at the end of the tunnel isn’t so easy to see now. The sisters are feuding over what seemed to be a small lie, it managed to turn into something a lot bigger. But as they try to move on, a more dire situation comes to the forefront and it’s clear Swift can’t solve the situation as quick as he got them all into it, the families quickly bounce into action, together, to turn it around. But when it’s time to actually end it all, what will the final price be? And more importantly, will they be able to pay it?

Emerie wanted to kill June her and washes her hands of her Dad, Delilah and her stepmom. Finding out that her mom gave her up and now she understood why June never accepted her. It was all too much and she and Kaire planned their life away from the family. Antonio will disown her. Delilah has had enough of Crystal same fate Rodney endured her and Em are going to make sure of it. Meanwhile Kaire made a deal with the enemy and it has backfired. The wives are not speaking and Smoke is mad at his little brother but family is family. The youngins will have to team up but when Delilah’s secret is revealed about her expecting, trust is truly broken. It will take a lot for everyone to come together and cousin Blake will be cut out of the equation. Baby’s are coming and there will be an unfortunate death but hopefully amends can be made prior.
I feel like Em ruined the book for me, she was a hothead, way too dramatic, over the top mad at her sister, if you get like that with your blood sister over something so small then it’s obviously something that you been wanted to get off your chest. Like something great came out of what your sister did and she just continued to be rude and nasty to her sister who kept her close. And yes June is a B…. But at the end of the day, Delia couldn’t feel the same as Em because that’s her mom and she had different feelings towards her. She was just an angry person who needed counseling. Like all the calling Delia names and pulling your gun. Idk how Delia forgave her ! She took it too far
All the back and forth was too much. I'm sorry but June didn't deserve for Em to forgive her. Just because she was dying. Lila was selfish to make her try too. I don't like LILA!!!! She never loved Smoke the way she did. There's no way she could have went and claimed to be in love and having unprotected sex with ole boy. Then tell Smoke she always loved her side dude. Then lied about getting pregnant. She is an ungrateful ass snake. Also what happened to Blake? The girls daddy was weak in my eyes. He let way too much stuff happens with no repercussions. Overall I like it
I loved every moment of this book. Swift and Em are my favorite couple. I just love how their crazy match each others'. They always got each other back right or wrong. Delila was getting on my nerves and I wanted to smack her because she kept playing the victim. Smoke with his hypocritical self was pissing me off. This was an amazing book and I didn't expect anything less from Na'kia and Genesis because they are outstanding authors.💙💙
This book was sooo close to being amazing but Em was just tooo childish, it overpowered the whole book. She changed for Swifted but that was it. Her overall mentality was selfish. I wish we could have gotten more growth from Delilah and Smoke Relationship. It felt like their storyline was written as a afterthought or the author got tried of writing. Book 1 was five stars but the finale fell flat.
Em and Swift matured in their marriage with the short amount of time better than Lila and Smoke! I’m just glad Em got to say her peace and June apologized before she died. I’m glad the babies were Kincaid and Lila and they found there way back to each other!
I really enjoyed this books. The authors did a wonderful job in writing and entertaining the readers. I loved all the characters but especially Em and Swift but I can relate to the pain that Lila felt when she found out about Smoke cheating. Great, great read
Ladies you did an amazing job with this series. It was so good, I read it I'm a day, couldn't put it down. The storyline was amazing and the characters were bomb. Swift and Emeri were my favorite couple. Would love to hear more from them.
Great jobs ladies. Yes the family was crazy as heck. I love them couples. I love both of the books. Sad about June was Karma received her. So I was glad everything works out.
