Being a thriller & mystery novels fan, I picked this book and I am proud to choose this masterpiece by Harsh Adani sir.
.
David invites his neighbors for the feast celebration but all his happiness turns into sadness, blood, and regrets. At the party, everyone was killed including the beloved wife and daughter of David.
.
Why didn't the murder kill David? Are you also thinking about this? Well, I too thought this and so does the investigation department team of Syna. Which makes David the prime suspect.
.
However, when the bodies were examined carefully, it's analyzed that the pattern of murder is matched to the murder of people who happened years ago by "The Stalker ". Did "The Stalker " killed these people too? But why would he come back after 10 years? Ohhh there is so much and I can't give you a spoiler.
.
I can't believe this is the debut novel by Author Harsh Adani. He has done a wonderful job and the writing style is so great that when you will read the book, you will feel as if you're the one who is investing this case.
.
But can this case ever be solved? Ohh my standard of Thriller is now raised by reading this book. A great thriller❤

First book in a projected series, The Case of Known Unknown revolves around Sho Syna (police officer), Akash Paul (detective ) and their hunt of 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒌𝒆𝒓.
In 10 years , there were three murders and the culprit was a serial killer who goes by 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒌𝒆𝒓. After years, the murders starts again. No dectective could unveal the name behind 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒌𝒆𝒓. Now, Sho , Akash along with other detectives are on it's tail.

First talking about the stalker . He is arrogant, smug and mysterious , leaving mysterious quotes . There are patterns to his crimes which no one seems to unveil. The stalker seems hateful and angry with humans. His quotes/clues indicated that.

"𝓐 𝓰𝓵𝓪𝓷𝓬𝓮 𝓪𝓽 𝓱𝓲𝓼𝓽𝓸𝓻𝔂 𝔀𝓲𝓵𝓵 𝓱𝓮𝓵𝓹 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓬𝓸𝓶𝓹𝓻𝓮𝓱𝓮𝓷𝓭 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓲𝓽 𝔀𝓪𝓼 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝔀𝓪𝓰𝓮𝓭 𝓶𝓪𝓷𝔂 𝔀𝓪𝓻𝓼 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓱𝓪𝓽𝓻𝓮𝓭 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓮𝓷𝓭𝓮𝓭 𝓪𝓵𝓵 𝓸𝓯 𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓶.
𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓢𝓽𝓪𝓵𝓴𝓮𝓻"

There were many other characters in the book along with Sho Syna and Akash Paul but they didn't stand out much. Sho Syna's character was developed nicely. Same for Akash . But the one who stood out was 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒌𝒆𝒓.
Sho Syna and Akash were romantically involved and that was a nice addition to the book.
Talking about plot , I liked it. Book is action packed and thrilling . There is suspense which peaked my curiosity very much. Never saw the end coming. That was one heck of a surprise. It was baffling to say the least.
Writing style is okay but story stretched sometimes and was loosely woven .
Overall, a good read .

After reading several clichéd love stories last month or so, I was hell bent on picking some thrillers that can quench my thirst and make my brain cells active. I finished one last week which raised my expectation bar quite considerably but even this proved to be a splendid version of edge of a seat mystery.

The book focuses on the antagonist which goes by the name, The Stalker. He (or maybe she) is held accountable for the three mass murders and several other heinous crimes. But there hasn't been any criminal activity off late which can trace the way back towards the unknown creature. Suddenly a similar sort of devastating cruel execution of people are spotted in a party and SHO Syna is handed over the arduous task of finding the person responsible for it. She feels uncanny similarity of the crime scene with the way Stalker use to operate 5 years back. So, is he back? Read the book to find out.

The book is characterised well. The narration is decent too and it binds the attention of the readers. Though there are instances where story sounds repetitive but still the suspense element is well maintained. The tale ends on a cliffhanger and make the readers wanting for more. Looking forward to read more work from the author.

The Case Of Known Unknown by Harsh Adani

Imagine you are provided to solve some challenging riddles in a book and you are all charged up to do so. However, there are other things that are going on simultaneously that are no less than those interesting riddles. To get a hold of the whole thing is not possible and so you relax and trust the author to do justice with the plot and enjoy the reading process. This was my exact scenario with ‘THE CASE OF KNOWN UNKNOWN’. Being a huge lover of thrillers, I can vouch for the fact the debut author Harsh has done a marvelous job in writing the book.

If I want to summarize the plot so that you will be intrigued to know more but not be provided with any kind of a spoiler, I would start with the three murders. The three murders take place at a party and the pattern has something to do with one serial killer. However, the killer made his last target almost 10 years ago. People get involved in the case, some are keen to take revenge, some are hellbent to prove their worth. We welcome you to the journey of riddles, chasing, mystery, and most importantly, the journey of THE STALKER.

I always believe that a good thriller can give you a decent amount of exercise for your brain. The book is no exception. I want to applaud the author for doing profound research in the detailing and weaving the plot meticulously. To handle these many subplots and yet be able not to divert from the main plot deserves well appreciation. The writing style fits well with the requirement of the story. I have read very few thriller novels this year and THE SILENT PATIENT is the best among the lot. If I compare this book with my favorite, this book does not disappoint you at all. So, you can understand the depth of the novel.

The complaint that I will share with the author is that I felt some parts were dragged unnecessarily. This could have been avoided and we would have got a crispier novel. I could guess THE STALKER before the revealing itself henceforth my excitement to find him was not there. However, I was curious to know how the author ends the story and he has executed that job perfectly.

Rating: 4/5

Congratulations Harsh on your debut novel. I want to read more books from you in the future.

“Ten years, three mass-murders, one serial Killer, an undiscovered pattern and just one name: The Stalker”

So, I am really into thrillers and this was not what I was expecting. It’s a good book but according to me it shouldn’t be categorised as a thriller, its more of a mass murder type book. So, basically its about a man named The stalker (and oh my god his quotes are so amazing) who is responsible for a mass murder. And like any other book murderer he loves to play with the police and writes them letters containing poems as clues. It was an ordinary read and it had some loopholes. But I really liked The Stalker’s character and his philosophical killing style. Well on the opposition side Akash and Syna can be seen solving the case and chasing The Stalker.

So, I would suggest if you are reading it then please don’t expect much thrill from it. Rather enjoy it as a basic crime fiction.
Happy reading.

I liked the way the book started with the court scene and not with the description of weather which has become a cliched way of starting books. The judges were deciding the case of two accomplices of "the known unknown - the Stalker", a serial killer behind many mass murders.

Years later, the authorities are startled when a similar case occurs in Simla, at David Fernandez's Rose Villa, could the Stalker be behind this mass killing?? Who is the Stalker??

The story unfolds as a young SHO, Syna starts investigating the case aided by her junior Dexter and a private detective Akash Paul who is also the cousin of David.

The book is written in third person narrative which suits the story telling. The author has managed to keep the mystery till the end of the book while providing the reader the thrill of solving the case alongside Akash and Syna. The sub - plots and secrets entwined with the bigger plot of Stalker's identity made the book very engaging.

The sub plots are very well laid down, be it "The Boss" or the secret of David's father and Uncle Paul or the secret of Jeel and Himanshu Salve i.e. the reason behind David hosting a party where people were killed.

The characters are very well written, especially that of the Stalker but I felt that sometimes he was praised too much while being described.

The end was jaw dropping and I didn't expect it to be honest, though, I had a doubt in the starting of the book but the author managed to misdirect me by impeccable plot setting.

I would definitely recommend this book to everyone!!!

David Fernandes invites his friends and family to his house saying that he has an important announcement to make. But the evening witnesses a mass-murder take place there. Being the sole survivor, David is taken into custody along with the trespasser who discovers the crime at the scene. But things take a frightening turn when 'The stalker' discloses the murder to be his work. The comeback of 'The stalker' who has taken the lifes of more than hundred people previously frightens the entire nation.
.
The book cover and the title are such that it kindles the onlooker's curiosity to pick up it to read it. The book has thirty-nine chapters and each of them is very exciting to read. The gradual unfolding for the case done by the police can be seen. The politics and competition within the police department can also be seen. But the more interesting part of decoding The stalker. Even though he is a criminal who has committed large crimes, his brilliance can be seen in the way he had handled all his crimes. The riddles, the link between the crimes and the perfection are brilliant. We can really understand how psychological health is important in laying one's life. The way their intelligence is used all depends on their mental health which requires each one of us to look after those around us. The character building is good and the climax of the book is nerve wracking. The author's writing style definitely has to be appreciated. The only problem I had was, the font style is too small and is not easy to read. I definitely recommend this book to every mystery lover!

Title: The Case Of Known Unknown
Author: Harsh Adani
The format I read: Ebook
Publication: Harsh Adani

.

My review:

The story revolves around the mass murder took place in Rose Villa on 13th March 2003.
26 dead bodies, one survivor and one man lying unconscious on the floor was reported in the story. A high class party at Mr. David Fernandes in Rose Villa turns into the sea of blood in no time. SHO Syna was assigned for the case, while she was investigating the case at the crime scene holding a bearded guy named as Himanshu Salva as suspect in her mind, she cross her path with a detective named Akash Paul, who is said to be the relative of one of the victim which makes him emotionally closer to this case but Syna rejects his offer to help in the investigation. Detective Akash is determined to investigate the case but SHO Syna is not in the favour of him to be in the investigation. Now, what will happen ? Will Syna accept his request or will she investigate it on her own ? Will she be able to solve the case or will she fail in doing that ? Read the novel to know about it.

The plot of the story is quite intriguing and gripping. The narrative is great. It keeps the reader hooked till the end. The murder mystery carried out by the man named 'THE STALKER' is very interesting. I would suggest the readers to give it a try.

A must read one!

The Case of Known Unknown is a good mystery/thriller book.

The story starts with the mass muder on 14th March 2003 at Shimla during the party organized by David. Next day morning, one of the member of his colony, Himanshu visits David's villa because of some unusual silence. As the villa was empty and he is alcoholic, he drank some left over wine which was spiked. As he progressed to each room, he found the dead bodies. Before he inform the police, he lost his conscience. Later police found him suspiciously. Among the whole members joined for the party only David survived. He lost all his family and friends closest to him.

A team under SHO Syna started investigation of the mass murder with Akash who is a private detector and cousin of David. The pattern of the mass murder was similar to previous three mass murders done by 'The Stalker' about some years back. But police believes that the stalker is dead. Who will be murderer? Will it be David or Himanshu? Or is The Stalker back?

The language is very simple. Good writing style. The climax was unexpected.

The case of known unknown is a crime thrill based suspense novel. The story is about an investigation of mass murder at the Rose Villa, where the protagonist David hosted a small party for his close ones for a reason untold. But things didn’t go as planned and all his friends and family are gone. The murderer killed all the people except David.
The people in accusation are David and The Stalker. The stalker is a serial killer, who is assumed to be back and is conducting murders and putting people in death row.
The case is being handled by Police officer Syna and her junior Dexter along with a detective Akash.
Will they be able to unveil the truth behind The Stalker and put an end to his deeds?
Or will this continue?

The story is comprehending and gets better with time, the starting of book is something I didn’t enjoy. Slowly with each chapter it got better. The storyline is very interesting after the first part. The plot is impeccable and intriguing.

Overall a nice read.

The case of known unknown is a crime thriller by Harsh Adani. The story revolves around the genius mastermind behind several murders 'The Stalker'.

- David Fernandez, a business man throws a party at his villa for a special reason. The next day his villa turns into a graveyard with all his guests murdered and with David left as the sole survivor.

- SHO Syna , her subordinate Dexter and a private detective Akash Paul starts investigating the case.

- The story takes a new turn as they receive letters confessing the murder signed as The Stalker.

- Will they be able to crack the clues from stalkers letters.?Will they be able to find out who Stalker was and what was his intention behind this cruel act.

The book with its twists and suspenses keeps the reader hooked to it till the end.The plot and subplots are all filled with mystery and makes us suspect on different characters. What I liked about the book was the message from the stalker himself which either had a mystery or a hint he leaves at the end of each chapter.
The research done by author in field of history and making correlations with the plot has to be appreciated.

Overall its a wonderful read.

An amazing book by Harsh Adani! Being a thriller lover, I enjoy detective and thriller books. The book rests on a Stalker, who is a serial murderer and is anonymous. The police offer SHO Syna and the detective Akash Paul who goes on a spree to find the stalker. The book is sure to give rise to your dopamine levels due to many riddles. The first question that arises is whether they will find the stalker as there is a new execution at the party. The plot was enthralling with a bit of a problem in the editing. However, the novel was spell-bounding being a debut novel. I loved the book from the other half that went at a faster pace and had a mind-blowing climax. I loved how the stalker left mystery quotes behind. Sometimes, a mystery, and other times, a hint. The love angle of Syna and Akash was well-praised in the book. Overall, it was an excellent experience to read a thriller like this.

Sounds intriguing, right?

The case of known unknown by Harsh Adani is a murder mystery thriller. The book revolves around catching the main culprit- The stalker, who has been responsible for several mass murders. It's a debut novel by author but it feels like he has been writing mysteries since years.

Initially it felt as though I was observing the whole scenario from a distance, then as I got to know each character I edged closer and closer to the action. I found myself completely caught up in the words. I especially admired SHO Syna's character and enjoyed how she uses her sharp wits, and strong will to deal with the situation in which she finds herself .

A big appreciation to author for all the research he has done! This book is filled with powerful facts of history. The thing I loved the most was all the quotes and messages written by the culprit at the end of each chapter. Those quotes had deep meaning. All that makes the book not just a hard-to-put-down thriller, but one that leaves the reader with much to think on, with no easy answers in sight.

When you start reading a mystery novel, what do you expect? Probably a thrilling story with ingenious clues along the way that brings out the inner detective in you. And this book does the job quite nicely. I loved the narration. The language is perfect. The title is attractive yet very apt. It is an enchanting cozy mystery that is addictive and will delight fans of all ages.

This is a fine debut that promises more thrilling fun to come.
Highly recommended.

David has arranged a feast and has invited his neighbours for the celebration but is unknown about the impending misfortune that will make him regret his decision. Everybody who attended the party is brutally murdered including David's wife and daughter sparing David alone.

The task of finding out the mystery behind these murders fell upon SHO Syna and her team. Although David being a prime suspect the situation is not that easy to conclude. The pattern of these murders is similar to the murders done years ago by a person named 'The Stalker'. But less to no occurrences of the murders from the past few years made her sceptical about believing these murders are done by the Stalker.

SHO Syna starts getting letters which are allegedly written by 'The Stalker' himself which increases her confusion and determination to solve the case. So Syna along with her junior and Akash, David's cousin set out on a journey to unravel the mystery and truth behind those letters and find out the real culprit.

So is he back?
Or is someone deliberately committing these crimes?
Will Syna be able to solve the mystery?

It's very difficult to believe this is a debut novel by the author. The story is exceptionally intriguing and fast-paced that keeps you engaging till the end. The concept of history involved in crimes makes it more interesting. The characters are depicted brilliantly and the narration is really good.

The story keeps you guessing the culprit and makes you think along with the protagonists and you feel like you are the one solving the mystery. With cliff hangers at the end we are kept in anticipation for the next part. I loved this book and I recommend it to everyone.

It’s probably the debut book by Harsh Adani and he is so much perfect with his story and the story is too perfect to even exist! I am a sucker of thriller and I can’t believe what I have just come through while reading this story, it’s more than only fulfilling my expectation. Cordial wishes to the author for more such contents!

The story revolves around ‘The Stalker’ who is imaged as a threat to the country as he is a serial killer. It starts with a get together at the place of David Fernandes and when he is about to announce the purpose of the gathering a mass murder happens. David being the only person alive becomes answerable to the custody and without any clue he falls in turmoil. Now all of a sudden ‘The Stalker’ takes the responsibility of the crime and this brings all the fright to the people. Two persons named Akash and Syna are approached to solve the mystery of the identity of ‘The Stalker’ and also the purpose of this and other mass murders he has done previously. How a murderer with so much planning and plotting would possibly get trapped? Why would he become a serial killer or mass murderer at the very first place? These will surely keep you at the edge and every time you will feel you have got this probably you will be wrong.

I can’t imagine how the story really ended. There was so much to guess and every time I guessed, the incident was messed up under some even more thrilling incident. I adored how the case was resolved and how all the questions which were constantly building were answered. The author kept up the thrill till the last page making me fool every time I assumed something. At no point the story felt predictable as I was proceeding and it was only making me impatient to know the truth behind. The plots kept on changing every time I was about to solve it and the twists were appearing exactly at correct places. I was panting at the 39th chapter clutching the book as hard as I can and I was so much happy and relieved after the story finished. It was a precious work by the author and I loved his narration, how at no point he stopped amazing me. Again I would it was a great work indeed and my greetings to the author for more such impressive books ahead!

"Every year, humans have made discoveries and enhancement in all possible fields, but if only they attempted to discover what is within themselves, they'd realize they are much more than just bones and skulls."
- The Stalker.

"HE'S BACK!!"

🥶 In the morning of 14 March, 2003, the Rose Villa at the Mysore Colony of the Summerhill, Shimla became the talking point of the country. David Fernandes the CEO of a startup tourism company in Shimla, found himself in deep trouble after a mass murder took place in the party organized by him at his residence the Rose Villa, claiming 26 lives.

🥶 SHO Syna, the investigating officer of the murder case receives letters from someone whose name itself inspires fear within the entire nation, the Stalker. The very name which has a history of 3 vicious mass murders over a span of 10 long years. The very name that suddenly disappeared from the face of Earth for 5 years.

🥶The Stalker is back. All the evidences, the method of killing, the letters, everything points in his direction. SHO Syna, along with Akash Paul, the private detective and cousin of David, embarks on the mission of unveiling the truth behind the Rose Villa incident. Will they be able to do what CBI and all the Intelligence and Police agencies were unable to do? Will they find the Stalker? The real identity behind the name? Or will they dive into the World of complexities? Read "THE CASE OF KNOWN UNKNOWN" by Harsh Adani to know more.

This is the debut book of the author and comes under the Crime Thriller genre. The book talks about an evil genius who terrorised the nation with it's atrocious deeds. The narration is simple and error free but, at times, feels haphazard, maybe to maintain the suspense in the plot but, you need to read the author's note to understand why it feels so. The story is moderately fast paced and has a promising premise. Most of the characters are well developed but there are a few which needed a bit more focus. The key fact about the storyline is that, everytime you seem to find an answer, you find yourself in the wrong direction altogether. You can't certainly guess the right answer before it finally pops up. A really impressive read. ❤

Some one wrote very well , deep scars are hidden via fake masks.

People with hardest past either brighten future or ruin it.

The book ( *the case of known unknown*) penned by *Harsh Adani* is all about a criminal investigation story that thrive you into the deep and hardest past of the victim who turned out to be culprit.
The scars dropped by the past overtakes the present and future of three lives beaded in the string of business , revenge, love, heart break and most importantly a past admirer of the culprit.

Under the sheets of conspiracy based on ancient theories of death, hate and revenge a mass mob murder takes place at David's Rose villa by the serial killer named stalker.

The book is full of turns and twist along with secret mind boggling notes that drives you back into the scam coverage done under the nose of some offical post holders and the racquet of drugs and other things going on illegally.

A sweet love story which blooms a whole garden of rose in the heart of the stalker and lifts onto the path of confession.

Syna the main investigator falls off for akash a private detective and during investigation of the mass murder loose him in a conspiracy of the boss.

Some days later she gets some clue regarding the boss and the stalker and the history notes which the stalker used to place for Syna during investigation.

What clue did she revealed?
Are boss and stalker one person only?
Had boss killed the stalker and akash?
Is David the victim of murder the boss?.

SHO Syna, Akash, David and The boss and most importantly the stalker..
Whose the one hiding the real face under
the mask and why?

*My opinion*:-

I personally loved the plot, twist, and specifically those notes which were mindful , deep and dangerous too.
This book can twist your mind while you will be lost into the plot of the scenario and characters lifestyle.

A serial killer you'll come to admire.

My Ratings 4.9/5
David Fernandes is throwing a grand party to announce some good news. After the grand reveal, all his guests cheer to the news by drinking wine and soon fall DEAD! David, the host, is the sole survivor, so is he is the murderer? That's where the obviousness ends and the mystery begins.

What I liked about the book:
--> The plot of the story is quite intriguing and gripping which keeps the reader hooked from the start till the end.
--> The little quotes at the end of each chapter, that also give an insight into "The Stalker" who is the main villain/culprit in the entire story.
--> The clues left by the stalker and how they are slowly revealed by the characters, especially the climax where Akash unveils the entire pattern of the stalker.
--> The sheer precision and research that went into the execution of the mass murders (which of course leads to the applaud worthy narrative and research done by the author himself)

What I did not like about the book:
--> Syna and Akash's romance should have got some more narrative space. (Also, what happened to Catherine, and what part did she play in Akash's past?)
--> There were many loose ends about supporting characters.

Quotable quotes:
—> A story judged on the basis of its initial stages is a missed opportunity towards a marvelous journey savored by those who flipped till the end of all pages.
—> Seven colors can form a beautiful rainbow, but mix them with seven emotions and it will perform the Seven Deadly Sins.
—> We all hide behind our masks, deceiving ourselves, pretending to be someone we aren’t. Yet, the one who succeeds in believing it as his own is the one who becomes a part of the ‘Great Deception’.
—> Human beings act as if nothing bothers them, but the things they try to ignore, keep coming back and haunts them.

The case of Known Unknown

It is a murder mystery thriller. It is a debut book by the author. I picked this book because I love reading books of this genre and I was not disappointed by this purchase. The book revolves around THE STALKER who has committed several murders as well as mass murders but he was never caught as he is too smart to be caught by the police.

David Fernandez organizes a party with a hidden agenda. Little did he know that this party will be the end of all his friends and family. Not even his little girl will be spared by The Stalker. Shimla city is terrorized when the stalker hits again after years and mass murders all the guests in a party leaving only one survivor. Now the question is why did he wait so long to make his move? What was his motive in leaving David alive when he killed his daughter mercilessly?

SHO Syna, along with Akash Paul, the private detective, and cousin of David, embarks on the journey of uncovering the truth behind the incident and The Stalker. Both of these characters are an essential part of the story but they could have been described more satisfactorily. Only Stalker's character is defined adequately and is fully developed.

The author has left small quotes after each chapter and they are really good and fun to read. You can see the effort author has put to create puzzles in the book. The way they unfold the story is mind-blowing. The story was nice and interesting. I feel it could have been written more appropriately. It was quite fast-paced. I liked how the story ended. The plot twist was really delightful. The amount of research that is done for the book is evident. I liked the twists and turns revolving around The Stalker! It was a nice read.

He dwells in the shadows but walks in everyone's sight - he is the known unknown. 'The Case of Known Unknown' by Harsh Adani brings us to the centre of a serial killer mystery. He had committed multiple mass-murders but no one had managed to catch him yet - The Stalker. After 5 years he is making a comeback. SHO Syna and an independent detective, Akash Paul, have to find the killer this time when he knocks too close to them.

This novel was like reading the flavour of Sidney Sheldon through the words of Enid Blyton. I found it very hard to believe that this was the author's first novel. It was amazing and kept me on my feet throughout. The quotations by 'the stalker' at the end of each chapter were such a great segment of the book. It's been really long since I have read a mystery by an Indian author which is so thrilling. As usual, I tried to connect the dots, and it was indeed a fun ride. I wasn't expecting much from the cover of the book. Somehow that dimed the capability of the book. I seriously feel the need to explore more mysteries by the author. His narrative is on-point. I truly enjoyed how he continued with the complexity of the storyline. The research put into the book was great. I found inkling of ideas taken from real stories of serial killers which made it more exciting. Except for a few hiccups here and there, this book was splendid.

I would definitely recommend this to mystery and crime readers. The writing style is easy, and you would want to complete the book in one sitting.

The Case of Known Unknown
By Harsh Adani (@harsh_adani)
Genre- #fiction #mystery #crimethriller
Format- #paperback
Pages- 194
.
.
✍️A mass murder took place on the night of 13th March 2003 in the dining area of Mr. David Fernandes party at Rose Villa while they were toasting their wines. 26 dead bodies, one survivor and one man lying unconscious on the floor. Bodies resting in a sea of blood and foam dripping their mouths. SHO Syna was engaged in the case. Will she be able to solve the most brutal case of her career?
.
.
🙊What I did not like in the book-
1) The Public Prosecutor has been shown with great vigour and very powerful which is not the real scenario in the Courts. And the defence has not been shown with that high regard which is the opposite actually.
.
2) The Supreme Court has been shown as a court of trial which is a mistake as it is a court of appeal only.
.
3) I did not like the cover actually and did not understand the relevance of the title with the story.
.
4) There are a lot of characters in the book and the characters does not have a back story and they are not much developed.
.
.
.
😍What I loved about the book-
The language is simple and lucid. The plot is gripping and engaging till the end. However, the story is buildable as the story moves at a slow pace in the start and it takes time for the plot to thicken.
.
The story focuses on finding out the stalker who has committed various murders and three major massacres and he is my favourite character as well. The stalker had a lot of depth and character.
.
.
🌻Overall, it was a good one time read. I do recommend the book if you are interested in thrillers and above 18years of age.

FAB - BOOK REVIEW OF "The Case of Known-Unknown" by Harsh Adani

Genre - Fiction(Thriller)

Rating - 4/5

QOTD: Which book has given you some typical nightmares?

Heya, yes, a thriller after reading many contemporary Romance books. (it's all because of Mr.GVM. There is nothing to do with me, just him) I was a little skeptical at the start as I have read many Romantic reads in recent times. The sudden switch from a feel-good romance to thriller and mystery is a bit difficult task, I would say, but I managed to read it. So at the start, I thought that it is because of my switch between genres I couldn't get into the book. Still, later I understood that the writing is a little tricky at the start, and later, the book got its pace.
.
This book is about David Fernandes, who is hosting a party. Everyone has their drinks, and later, everyone is dead! Yes, you heard it right! But only he is alive. Who is the murderer, and why is everyone over what is the matter exactly? To know the answer to it, you need to read the book.
.
The language is lucid and exciting, and the book got its pace after 30 - 45 pages, which made me feel bored till then. This is a fast-paced book with a perfect ending and editing. Mainly because if a thriller book is not appropriately edited, then I am sorry the book will be too tedious. But this isn't that kind of book. This is full of excitement and a feeling of tense and fear gripping on you as you will be shocked to know who the murderer is and why that person did it all.

Failure gave them what success couldn’t.
I offered them what justice wouldn’t.
Biding my time till their execution, the known-unknown finally returns!
-the stalker
Harsh Adani’s debut novel ‘the case of known- unknown’ is undoubtedly the page Turner with such a breathtaking plot.
Smartly written, with a brilliant plot which builds up very nicely to a super climax. The author has done magic with his fluid art of writing.
The plot has three parts 1. The similarity 2. The stalker 3. The pattern.
When it comes to the characters, it has SHO Syna Agarwal, Detective Akash Paul,Dexter; Syna’s junior and this trio was my personal favourite. The story starts with David’s part who is Akash’s cousin but lately he got to know that he was his real brother and that indeed is the most deep secret and grievance of many mysteries ahead.
It has a villain, the one and only ‘The stalker’ who influenced me a lot.
His sayings, his letters to the Sho Syna and the CBI were extraordinarily written and I was perplexed on reading each and every quote at the end of every chapter. Though he was villian but still from choosing his mentors and his tactics made him a best character of this creation.
And the climax was unexpected and you’re really gonna adore the author.
The storyline contains many mass murders and the readers will certainly be engaged with such an incredible narration.
This is such a brainstorming fiction which mystery fiction junkies must pick up asap. Go and grab your copies.

The case of Known Unknown by Harsh Adani

It's a suspense thriller with a murder mystery. The author has written his first book. This book appealed to me because I enjoy reading works in this category, and it did not disappoint. The story centers around THE STALKER, a serial killer who has committed several killings, including mass killings, but has never been apprehended by the authorities because he is too clever to be apprehended.

David Fernandez throws a secret party. He had no idea that this gathering would be the last for all of his friends and family. The Stalker will spare no one, including his little girl. When the stalker returns after years and murders all of the guests at a party, leaving only one survivor, Shimla city is horrified. Why did he take so long to act? What was his motive in leaving David alive when he killed his daughter mercilessly?

SHO Syna, along with Akash Paul, a private detective, and David's cousin, sets out on a quest to learn the truth about the incident and The Stalker. Both of these people are crucial to the plot along with The Stalker.

After each chapter, the author has added brief quotes that are both insightful and entertaining to read. The author clearly put effort into creating puzzles in the book. The way they tell the story is incredible. Although the story was enjoyable and intriguing, I believe it could have been written more effectively. It was a fast-paced story, and I enjoyed how it concluded. The storyline twist was a lot of fun. The amount of study that went into the book is obvious. It was an enjoyable read. This is a book that I would strongly suggest.🌻

This is simply a brilliant story. Mind-blowing plot and characters. A perfect example of a murder-mystery thriller. The case of Known Unknown by Harsh Adani is the story of a serial killer known only as " The Stalker" who is responsible for many mass-murders. The police and authorities were unable to find him even after years of pursuit. They believe that he is dead and his accomplices are now under the trial for those crimes. After five years of last known incident, a new mass-murder has happened in Rose villa with only one survivor.SHO Sayna and a local detective Akash is now in this pursuit to solve this mystery. With numerous hurdles ahead, they have a difficult task at hand- to prove serial killer's involvement and find him.

Although this story was also opened in a similar fashion like all other thrillers, it certainly didn't finish like them. The author has cleverly penned this amazing story. We can say that it has a one-dimensional narration. But it does not hold back from twisting the plot and turning into a new direction. The end was clearly unpredictable because we cannot imagine even a possible suspect like the actual culprit.

What I really liked about this story is its reference on mass-murders happened around the world and justification of those murders. With the help of conspiracy theories, the author has presented a different angle in this thriller. Moreover, the ultimate message in this book impose on its audience is incredible.

Definitely a great read. I'm eagerly waiting to read the next book in this series.

I liked the book titled "The case of known unknown" by Harsh Adani. A clear justice to imagination has delivered not letting free the wings of imagination to a fantasy world. Where subconscious mind triggering about a stalker as shining in the cloud; there, the assassination of invitees creating a scene of lamentation i.e. a heinous holy of blood at the hotel; simultaneously gazing in the haze of anticipation, curiosity prevails backed up by the past incidents, making fresh the feel of danger, afraid and heinous act of stalker. the absence still felt, gives a fresh feel, has not been eroded by the time winds but remained as dreadful giving a thrilling experience in the minds of Syna SHO.
The author has penned the plot where Heart of creativity kisses to the background, where the mind of thoughts hugs the strings of character, the body of the concept boasted with the dazzling presentation. Unification of character through plunge of creativity has decorated with magnanimous inculcation of innovation in the script. Climaxes paving and pulling the mind curves into concentric to the stalker but to disunite the elements of curve into fragments and taking to many turns. However, the book is lagging seamless scene alteration, uniform cohesion, grammatical errors & strong character building. On account of which the author's imagination is getting hammered, creating a shallow impact. Nevertheless, the author has done good work in this book. Readers will enjoy this.
