This book was very interesting, but very good. It is about a girl named Yolande who thought that she was in love with an older guy named Etienne. Yolande made Etienne think that her name was Tiffany. Yolande was only 15 and Etienne was 20. She thought that Etienne was the perfect guy for her. He bought her gifts and treated her nice. Until he asked her to go on a date with another guy because he wanted to get out of debt. Yolande didn't like it, but she did because she would do anything for Etienne. Yolande ended up being put into the game. The game is like a business with men that have girls tricked to go on dates with other men as a business. Etienne used Yolande to make money and get out of debt by lying to Yolande making her think he loved her and that they would get out of this life and live together forever. Yolande's best friend Gabrielle did not like the fact that Yolande was hanging out with a guy like Etienne. Yolande got mad at Gabrielle and they argued over and over again about the fact of Yolande dating him. Later in the book Etienne told Yolande that they were going to take a road trip. Etienne kept it a surprise to Yolande. During the drive Yolande realized that it was far from a surprise. She asked the driver Desmond where Etienne was and she figured out that Etienne wasn't coming and that she was going to have to sleep with another guy for Etienne. She became very depressed the ride there. Once she got to the hotel she was supposed to be at, it was run down and disgusting. In the room with the guy Yolande heard footsteps of a girl. It was Gabrielle in disguise. She was there to save Yolande. Yolande tricked the guy into getting into the shower and Gabrielle and Yolande trapped him in the bathroom by blocking the door. They got away. Yolande finally told Etienne that they were done and he became violent with her and finally she threatened to call the police on him and he backed off and let her go. Yolande is going to use this story to help herself from making the mistakes she did and help others from making the same mistake. I rate this book a 10 out of 10. It started out slow, but it became very good throughout the book. If you like young love and relationships gone bad, I recommend this book to you.

I have just re-read this book and it scares me that this can so easily happen. Excellent book detailing how a young girl can so easily be manipulated by a smooth, older man.

I literally cringed throughout this entire book (unfortunately, its not that long) as fifteen year old Tiffany fell into a situation she was soooo not equipped to deal with.

Its both scary and shocking to see how many people are out there - just waiting for the right young girl - innocent who wants to grow up too quickly.

The story was engaging and horrific all at the same time. I have read several of Polak's books and she always deals with social issues that are pertinent and scary - yet, does it in a caring and sensitive way.

As always, James Lorimer books offers up so great stuff.

I like the book because it shows how a guy can trick and use a girl. It shows how to be careful with what you drink that you get from people. This book has a lot details on how they give her drinks to get her to bed. I would recommend this book to people who like real stuff that happens or can happen. It also shows how you get tricked on being a prostitude and how they make you sleep with guys without you knowing. I really liked this book hoping to read more books from this author.

This is a really good book for when you just want to read something fun. I thought it was very interesting and life like. I would recommend reading this book and the rest of this authors books. I've read two of her books so far and they were both amazing.

A young adult tale aimed at an audience who needs to be aware just how these things happen. I hope the right girl reads this book, and is forewarned.
