I read this after finishing its show. On the other hand, the show was much more vibrant and eventful as they added more events on the show that was not in the novel, but to be honest, the novel is quite beautiful with the way it broke down most of Chinese novel cliches. I love how the book delved deeper into the character’s perspectives that made up their personalities and how they remained in love even through the differences. Truly a great read.
