Through pictures, text, and illustrations, that appear to be black pen, this nonfiction book takes the reader through an in depth tour of estuaries. It describes characteristics of the environment and what types of wildlife are commonly found there. This book also offers an opening glossary to help readers become more familiar with words they may encounter throughout the text. I would use this book as an introduction into a unit on habitats or biomes. The high level of information it contains could help to create a strong foundation on which to build a better understanding of these environments.

This is a good content book that uses the description/concept text structure. It would be a good source for quick reference.
