Omg what on earth did I just read???
I absolutely adore anything by this author, but this was next level.
She made book one of this must read duet look like a walk in the park.
I "Claimed" that Captured was dark, raw and gritty with no holds barred, well triple that statement for this book, and I loved every second of it.
After finishing book one, I was dying for answers but I was not prepared for what ended up transporting.
I literally couldn't stop reading once I started, and got grumpy every time the real world tried to interfere.
You are run through a gamut of emotions so many times, that your head and heart will be splitting in two over and over.
I can barely process all that happened so I'll just leave you with this... ONE CLICK IMMEDIATELY!!!!

*MUST READ BOOK 1*

I had been so careful to conceal my secrets. To hide them. Bury them as deep I in the darkest part of my soul. I broke every rule, and now, I am going to pay the price.

To save the only family Rae has ever known...

Rae must turn her back and allow the claws to sink into her tainted flesh...dragging her into the torment that now awaits her.

With every hit growing harder, twist of the chain biting deep, unbearable pain that they unleash...Rae holds firm...but barely with her screams echoing in the darkness.

Because, Rae has a secret that may be evident but, through her gritted teeth Rae will protect the ones that she loves…

The one who has captured her heart.

I’ve fought the flames, felt them burn. The way they stroked my skin. The scars they left behind. Knowing I am going to be engulfed in them, and this time I may burn to ashes.

No matter if she is Rae or Arya… this girl will fight until her last breath…

The one thing they dreaded has happened. I’ve lost it. The dam has broken, and there is nothing to stop all the anger and rage spilling out.

She was the first one to ever save him...But now she’s gone…

Ice will stop at nothing...absolutely nothing...to claim Rae as his girl and bring her home to him...where she belongs.

Every lead turns to a dead-end...another body drops but Ice doesn’t care. The blood stains his skin, the screams are the lullaby to his restless soul and still the tires burn until the sun breaks on another day...and still she’s not in his arms.

Ice needs to see Rae again…there’s so much he needs to know. What secrets is she holding and will she stand by his side.

It doesn’t matter...nothing does…

She claimed a piece of Ice...the piece that was frozen over and now beats again.

When one of us bleeds, we all do, and the fucking Mendez have sliced Ice’s jugular. He is bleeding out, and all we can do is watch while we try to keep the pressure on his gaping wound.

He will be the one to save her...no matter the consequences…

Kitten couldn’t conceal her emotions. It was all there, written across her face. The lie so close to the fucking surface, I could reach out and touch it.

After the events from the previous book, Rae & Ice are lost not only to each other but to themselves...solely on survival mode with only one focus; these two will never stop fighting. The pain becomes second nature to them, with a new reality haunting them every-time they even get the chance to close their eyes...Rae & Ice must find the strength to protect the ones they love and find a way out of the pits of hell they are struggling to climb out of.

Even with a glimmer of hope forming...it could be dashed out too soon...damaging each other in the process.

“You think once they are out in the world, you will be able to fix it...Your wrong. So, fucking wrong.”

So, I knew this was going to be darker...but hell...I can’t get over how brilliant this second book was. The first book was able to build up the story, meet the characters and the MC world...so with that all settled everything was focused on the main story.

I loved it...I fell hard and with a book hangover for Rae & Ice. I’m a sucker for detail and this book...with these perfectly placed lines...ahh yes I’m a very happy girly. The raw emotions that keep your turning and holding your breath!

AND….We have bonus chapters added in!!!

Which gives you a different outlook to the story and I loved the addition that this brought to the story. I love the side characters, you feel the family connections throughout and how even with the dark edge that this story holds, it’s wholesome...in a twisty, cut throat, bloody…(you get the idea) kinda way.

He never saw the mask because he saw me. He was right. I never played a part with him. It was real.

Hot Damn, Raven Amor has outdone herself with Claimed!!

Ice and Rae are just as perfect through this book as they are in Captured, but this time they are determined to destroy the Mendez family, just for different reasons.

Rae is the perfect Old Lady, giving as good as she gets while making every member of the MC fall more deeply in love with her. Ice is so close to falling apart without her, only to make plans to end everyone in sight once he finds out what Rae is hiding.

The tension, and fear, that both Rae and Ice are feeling (albeit for different reasons) is agonizing at points, making me want to turn the page faster, but still not wanting to miss a single word! This is an amazing book, but not an easy book, this MC world is definitely NOT a walk in the park.

Raven has definitely earned 5 stars with Claimed, the suspense and heat are NEXT LEVEL genius, and I can't WAIT to find out who she plans on torturing next in the Horsemen MC.

Raven Amor knocked this one right out of the park!!! I waited as patiently as I could for this book to come out! We pick right up where Captured leaves off...***YOU MUST READ CAPTURED FIRST***
I will say this book is darker and grittier than Captured. My heart hurt so much for Rae. She has been through so much already in her short life, but she makes a decision to save those she has come to care deeply for. I rooted for her through the whole book, and am in love with the strong woman she has turned out to be. Now Ice, Ice I wanted to throat punch a time or two. Well he isn't the only one, but he would be the first in line for the throat punching. I will say he does make things right, but it was touch and go for a while for me. Now I am going to end my review right here, because I am afraid I am going to let some of the juicy details slip and I do not want to do that.

My Review: Unfortunately I didn’t like this second book as much as I did the first. The gruesome torture that Rae had to endure was a bit much for me and it took way too long for her to get back to Ice. I felt the continuity was off and things were too rushed and unpolished. A bit disappointing for what I thought was such a strong start in the first book. There is a third to continue the series but I read some reviews about it being a bit disjointed as it’s told from multiple POVs. I think I’ll skip it for now and move on to something else.

I'm so confused...the whole plot for the second book was she gave herself up to the bad guy because the MC wouldn't have time to save the other person they were holding hostage. But, here's the thing. She was with them. She had time to write a long ass letter, go home change into something demure(because that's what the bad guy liked) before turning herself to the bad guy. She repeats that a few times, and it never made sense. Also, she gives birth in captivity, and after she's found she keeps it a secret?? It made no sense. It's justified as she doesn't want to burden them with it, but she kept it a secret for months when they could have been found.

The author includes a warning that you need to pay attention to, just like the first book.

Rae starts the reader off where Captured ended. So, to follow the story properly don’t start here. It would be like cheating and reading the ending before you even start the book. Previously, I felt that the emotions were very raw compared to a lot of the other MC reads that are out there and I feel the same here. The rough and violent life portrayed also continues.

Some of the author’s words, and scenes, may be hard to forget. I made a note to self, don’t read this before going to bed. There were just certain things that happened that I didn’t want to carry over before closing my eyes for the day – what nightmares are made of. Our author knows how to write evil very well.

For me, it seemed like our author wrote this story for Rae. Even though we get to hear from Ice, and he shows us how much pain he is feeling, Rae is at the center of what is going on. It was nice getting to know some of the other members briefly as well but it always came back to our main characters. We get to meet someone new and I’ll be interested to see if this person makes appearances going forward – just one more reason to keep following the series. Ms. Amor seems to be building steam as each tale comes out.

Our author still creates people that you wouldn’t want to meet in a dark alley but the story itself will grab your attention. There just never seemed to be a good, even while reading the bad, spot to let the story go. If you have the time, this could be read in one sitting. But once again, I’m left wanting more and not happy that I have to wait in order to find out what that more is. However, I know that it will be worth the wait.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

Well. What a wild ride this was! Book 1 left me on us on an interesting cliff hanger and we picked up right where we left off!

I enjoyed this better than I did book 1. I feel like there was a growth in the authors writing in this one. The story flowed nicely and I really enjoyed myself and felt a lot deeper for the characters.

I really enjoyed Ice more in this book as well. It was amazing to watch his growth!

I'm a sucker for good MC romance and this was definitely that. I liked the journey between Rae and Ice. It was, in no way, a smooth ride. I liked that the author didn't sugarcoat the MC life.

I hurt for Rae. That being said, I didn't understand why she kept everything a secret. It just seemed off because if it had been me I'd have wanted as many people helping me as possible. Even with that, this was still a good book. I'm surprised their is going to be another book about these characters as there story seemed to be done. I was expecting other characters to take the lead, like Bolt or even Dianna.

Off-topic, this is another great cover.

Tons of Emotions

I’m sitting here writing this review with tears in my eyes. I don’t know how this author is able to pull these feelings from me but she did.

I started this series yesterday, I believe it was and I’m already 2 books into it.

I could feel every emotion from Rae and from Ice. Their story is hard but I see why it needed to be written this way.

I am completely in awe with this author. She has hooked me from the very first sentence.

Raven Amor does it again with Claimed. The Duet to Captured *must read* is filled with so many emotions. Anguish, love, pain, sadness, you name it its in it.

What Rae and Ice had to go through had me crying through most of the book. Not just a few tears, I'm talking full on water works here. I had to stop a few times to compose myself so I could read again.

By the end of the book they grew so much stronger as a couple. They are now my favorite book couple to date!

You will not be disappointed in this book when you read it. Now go on, go and read it.

Truly an epic MC series. Definitely not for the faint of heart. It'll take you on a ride as you've never been before. Ever experience the thrills of an amusement park? Now you can have that same feeling through this series. I wasn't prepared for the emotional pain I felt, a remarkable job.

*NOT A STAND ALONE. CAPTURED MUST BE READ FIRST*

Claimed captivated me from the beginning.
It's dark, gritty and daring I loved every minute of it.
So many OMG moments, you won't be able to turn the pages . quick enough.
The character development from Capture to Claimed is amazing to read.
Rae, the ultimate badass heroine who will do anything for the people she loves including sacrificing herself, to a man who would rival the devil himself.
Ice, while in the throws of panic and vengeance also stumbles upon self discovery that brings everything to light, and in my eyes even more dangerous!

All in all Claimed is an amazing conclusion to an amazing duet.

*personal note*
I've wracked my brain with this review, I wanted to convey my love of this book without saying "I loved this book"

I didn’t like either Rae or Ice in this one. Rae making stupid decisions, Ice being reactionary because of it. Both of them bringing out the worst in each other. Triggers for domestic violence. There was so much drama it drowned out any time to believe and enjoy their reunion. Disappointed as I really liked the first book.

I absolutely loved the side characters though and I’m for sure going to read their stories.

Im probably going to be in the minority but I was a bit disappointed with this book. I was so excited to read because I loved book 1 so much.

For 1, it was short. I did skim quite a bit of the book. Would liked to have more character development from the rest of the guys. I felt like there was a lot that wasn’t being said.

Sad to see that Rag died. Was hoping to get more from him and his relationship with Rae now that the babies were found. There just felt like something was missing in this book.
I will read book 3 so I can see what happens. That teaser at the end just added so many more questions for me.

Having thoroughly enjoyed book one, Captured, in this duet I eagerly waited for this book, and although the wait wasn’t long it was definitely worth it. Claimed is a fantastic companion to Captured.

Warning: Be prepared to experience a huge variety of emotions and when I say experience them, I mean truly feel them like you are in the story instead of reading about it. There are times when my eyes were leaking tears of complete and utter devastation and others when some slipped out through laughter. I will admit some of my nails did get a bit of chewing through the fearsome and agonizing actions of Carlo. No matter the emotion, I can guarantee you will feel it deeply.

I enjoyed the detailed descriptions, making it very easy to mentally visualize each scene as they unfold. The descriptions of both the settings and characters are so vivid that at times I almost flinched at some things and wanted to lash out at others. 😳

The two leading characters changed, as you would expect after everything that happened. Their growth showed their true selves, how deeply caring and supportive they are for not only each other but their friends too. It’s true that Ice needed a big mental slap to get himself together but whatever it takes, it takes!

The secondary characters are wonderful in their own way, intriguing as all get out too. I am so interested in Cas and Rev’s stories in particular so bring them on as soon as possible, especially after the sneak peek at the end!

WOW, this series just keeps getting better and better!!

Gah so many emotions while reading this book. This is dark, it's dangerous and sinister as all hell. Ice for me is one complicated man who loves fiercely but finds it so hard to portray his feelings as he's been scarred by his past.
When his Kitten is taken, he'll move heaven and earth to find her, leave no stone unturned.

This story is not for the faint of heart, it has parts that had me in tears, the lengths one obsessed person will go to is beyond comprehension, and Rae is one strong, loving feisty lady! A truly scary but heartfelt story of how one person can claim another's whole heart and soul.

This book has a book load of triggers! Yes it does! Rae and Ice have been through HELL! That journey only began with Captured! Yes it only began the horrors and deception. She knew that getting involved with the Horseman would change her life, her soul, her heart and she had no qualms about protecting those men and women who she considered family. Ice knew when he met her she was his, he just did not know how this woman was going to change him, his club, his closest relations. It started with blood being spilled and then BOOM! It hits the proverbial FAN! Blood, life, death, this is all that it is and so much more. You know the saying you do not know what you have till it is gone. Well that does not even touch the surface here. Not everything is in the shadows, but what comes into the light is anything but light! Brutal, merciless, ruthless, inhuman. Those are just a few of emotions that you encounter within these pages and that is only the beginning! Miss Amor has delivered a book that will bring you to your knees, tear you heart right out of your chest, savage your soul and rip your world apart! If you think you are ready to journey down this road, be prepared to lose it all, pray for what you have and bend over because it is coming fast and hard! Prepare for the most unimaginable pain. It is the only way. It is explosive! It is uncivilized! It is vicious! It is savage! If you want to be a part of the Horsemen you have to know what happened, like I said earlier this is only the beginning. If your sure you want to take this ride then hop on because these Horses don't play fair. Be prepared to have your hinny handed to you. Be prepared to NEVER be the SAME! LOVE THIS AUTHOR and THIS SERIES!

Raw, Brutal and all about the strength of survival and healing ...

Well, Author Raven Amor took Rae’s story from Captured and ramped it up somewhat. I need to categorically state that Captured is book one and must be read first before hitting this book, Claimed.

Straight out of the gate she tore at my heart and had me crying. The raw emotion that can be infused into her words literally bleed from the virtual pages of my tablet, my heart stuttered, and my head pounded as I started a full on sob-fest. The pain of her characters was real, and I shared it with them.

What I will also add here before I go any further is a warning for squeamish readers of dark books(!) Ms Amor gives more than a fair warning that her books are no fairy tales, so take heed and don’t be complaining about the rawness and brutality of the world that she has created. If you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen. That is all.

This book was packed so full of action and emotion that even though I knew it was a full length read, with so much going on within its virtual pages, I felt like I was racing through so fast. I needed resolution, but I didn’t want to reach the end of the book too soon. I didn’t want Rae and Ice to suffer any more than they did, but Ms Amor had other ideas, she put them through a hell that no couple should ever have to deal with.

What an amazing MC series that Raven Amor has begun to piece together. I absolutley and highly recommend this to all and sundry. 5 stars! ☠️💔

Such a great conclusion to the story of Rae & Ice. These two are off the charts together and when Ice loses Rae his whole world turns darker than it already was. It takes him a long time to get her back and when he does there is so much hidden between them that it may be impossible for them to get back to where they were or to even move on together.

This story was just as explosive as Captured, Book 1. It has the danger, intrigue and explosive chemistry between Rae and Ice, but it also has more. It is heartbreaking, twisted and unpredictable. The characters are great, and the Red Horsemen are extremely loyal. They will follow Ice anywhere and have his back the whole time, even when he’s going off the rails because he can’t find Rae. I was so happy with this book and then I read the ending and the final pages, and I was so upset again. Ms. Amor is a complete tease as she says at the end and I am excited for A Price to Pay, but I’m not, because I’m also afraid of what it has in store for me. I love the characters, the book, the story and the tease at the end. I give this book a 5-star review and am so looking forward to more from Ms. Amor. Even if it does kill me. I had a hard time putting this book down just like I did the first book and stayed up way past my bedtime to finish it. It’s a wild ride that pulls you in and won’t let you go.

Book two was way better than book one.

There was so much less fucks and bitches, I actually felt like I got more of the story. I felt more emotional with this book than I did the first. It feels like the author took to heart criticisms that she got on the first and worked on it.

The timeline was a little crazy .. some of the things didn’t match.. but it didn’t bother me too much . Like, I liked that she went through an entire pregnancy in captivity, but there was nothing about it other than her showing, and then actually giving birth. And then it was weeks after she killed her captors that she finally reached out?
And the Sienna twist.. I feel like she could have done more for Rae, especially when we find out she is the one who killed her father.. why couldn’t she have done it sooner? Why didn’t she try and reach out for help sooner?

Again, it was a lot of information at once, so I got confused a few times.. but less so than I did in the first book.

Another thing I actually really enjoyed was the raw feelings Ice had when Rae came back. It wasn’t like other stories where it’s all rainbows and sunshine and everything is ok... the author took another approach and used the real feelings in the other direction.. I liked that she didn’t make it a perfect HEA right away, they still had to work for it. That’s real life.. shit doesn’t always go exactly how we want.

I was looking forward to the sequel and it was worth it. The second book started right where the first one ended and I couldn't wait to find out what was going on in it
After Aria fell into the hands of the devil again, I had the feeling that this time the teenager would not be saved, but of course the author surprised me. I was very sad for Aria. She went through so many terrible things while she was in the hands of that monster that I even get goosebumps when I think about it.
This time, however, I was as angry with her as I was with Ice's first book. I don't think she did the right thing by not telling them her secret from the beginning. Most of all, Ice deserved to know about her.
Ice also began to make sarcastic mistakes several times and did things before considering them in a moment of anger. I wanted to grab them and shake them a little.

Of course, the end was worth it no matter what they went through, and I was happy for them and their now complete family. It was worth the thrill and I definitely recommend this book of course after reading the already published first part. Thank you for the honor and pleasure that I was chosen to receive copies from both parts.

I’m speechless at the moment and not sure what words I can come up with to do this book justice. Ice and Rae finally found their way to each other, but Ice has issues and he’s protective, broody, hot headed, you know the norm, but when Rae does the unthinkable Ice spirals out of control fearing he will never see her, hold her or get a chance to tell her he feels the same way. She is his everything. Rae made a choice to save someone and protect another and in doing that she’s right back where it all began.

Rae finally found a family and fit in and now it’s gone in a blink, everything she’s done has been for Ice and her new family, but will he see it that way. Rae is keeping something from Ice and the others and it’s only a matter of time before the truth comes out and it always does. Will Ice and Rae find their hearts again or will her choices break them forever?

Their story was outstanding, I was grabbed by the first page until the end. It’s emotional, heart breaking, intense and overwhelming but in a good way. I’m loving this series and can’t wait for Red’s book. Highly recommend you start this series.

Ok wow I loved the first book in the Red Horsemen series after the cliffhanger ending I couldn't wait to my hands on Claimed . You can't read this as a standalone because Captured ends in a major cliffhanger and you would run into some spoilers . As much I loved this duet something felt a bit off about this one I just felt like something was missing and just random things happened that left me confused but over all loved this story . I really liked the characters they grew on me even more there was just one character that really confused me with how he handled things . Not only did I find out more about Rae but also more about Ice which I really enjoyed while also getting heart aches . I hope the rest of the Red Horsemen get their own stories and with the little tease the author left at then end I can't wait to know more about these characters . The story honestly blew my mind with everything I flew through the pages and just felt every emotion going on. I can't wait to read more by Raven Amor I hope she expands more of the Red Horsemen and I can't wait to see what's to come .

OH MY GOSH what an exciting conclusion to this duet. Ms. Amor gave us an exciting storyline in part one and a thrilling one in part two. I literally couldn’t put my ereader down which meant me reading into the wee hours of the morning. But it was totally worth losing a little sleep.

The story picks up as part one, Captured, ended. Rae is gone. She has turned herself over to save those she has come to love. Ice and the MC are the only true family she’s known since her mother died years ago. Her mistake was getting attached and not leaving like her usual M.O. Now she is back in the hands of the monsters that have hunted her. But she has the will and incentive to escape. But will it be too late. Because this time she has a secret that is going to totally destroy her, Ice and the club if it ever gets out.

This is not a read for the faint of heart. But if you can handle it, it’s so worth it in the end. Awesome Duet that this reader Highly Recommends Grabbing up.

2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars.

OH MY HOLY HELL! Claimed is the conclusion to Ice & Rae's story, and it's an intense story that had me taking small breaks trying to catch my breath many times. You MUST read Captured (Book 1) FIRST, no ands ifs or buts about it. Rae has been living on the downlow for a long time, but she's been found so she walks right into hell so she could save an MC princess, and the MC itself. Ice is going mad trying to find her, and she's not just gone a week or two, it's a LOT longer than that, and his brothers are very worried about his state of mind. Meanwhile, Rae is in 100% hell with no end in sight so I found myself having to actually put the book down more than once since it was too intense for this dark soul that I sport so be warned people. The twists are crazy, the emotions are almost too much, and the action & violence is all over the place so I had to sit in silence for a cool minute after finishing it. Raven Amor knows how to write a dark & gritty MC tale, so if you're brave enough, hit those one click buttons! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Having read this a few days ago I'm still reeling from this book in the best way!! Raven has created a dark soul-wrenching conclusion to Ice and Rae's story and it's a ride you must go on with them!! Unable to put the book down until its ultimate conclusion, I was transported into their personal hell and didn't come out unscathed with their story taking over my brain at various times it's that phenomenal a story. I am truly in awe of her ability to tell an all-consuming tale that will have you questioning everything and to read her is to know, she will write anything so no one and nothing is safe, be fearful where she'll take you. Thinking of Ice and Rae's struggles, together and alone, throws me into a wide variety of emotions about their journey that are still consuming me today and I don't see them stopping anytime soon!! These characters are seared onto my soul now and Ice has definitely become a favorite in the harem!!

Claimed in the second book of the red horseman series, captured is the first, they need to be read in order.

Okay now thats out the way HOLY CRAP!!!
Ravens gone and done it again, I thorght i had my best read for 2021 but this is a joint first.

Im emotional drained and my heart hurts, but in the best way possible. I knew this was going to be amazing, after reading captured I was left needing this, I couldnt wait to get my grabby hands on it and god if you think captured was good, its nothing compared to this.

From cover to cover I was instantly consumed,  I was on the edge of my seat, I couldnt look away even when I had dread in the pit of my stomach.
Everything about these guys draws you in, the banter that makes you belly laugh, the heartache that makes you cry ( boy did i cry) and the rage that simmers just under the surface.

I've read some amazing mc books that will stand the test of time...this is one of them.

Start the duet today, you won't regret it.

"I always did love the burn..." I weep.

Duet my ar*e, nah... Give me more
I demand this become a trilogy. I'm not ready to let go.

Let me just start by saying. I hate you Raven. I despise you. Why did you do that to me. The whole godd*mn book I sobbed, raged, begged and YOU leave me with that....

I wasn't ready for this, Raven is a master at writing. Her ability to create such engaging horrific chapters is haunting. I'm sure it's witchcraft at this point.

This tore me in two. I threw my kindle across the room and sulked.
I could slap every character and hug them just as hard.

This was mean and mentally destructive. I loved every minute of it. These authours are sadist and I'm the little masochist asking for more.

I whipped through this. Re-reading chapters to make sure I read it right.

If you haven't read Captured... Why not. Go do it. Be wrecked with me.

I'm just done. Wake me up when Raven's learnt to behave or when the next Redhorseman is out.
