Fantastic Rock Box Set!!
Hard Rock Crush
This follows the rock band Cherry Lips which Cerise is the driving force behind. Cerise meets one of her favorite rockers, Liam Knight who happens to be big in the rock world at that time. It was Liam who gave Cerise the push to get back up on stage and follow her dreams of being a rock star telling her she is going to be a bright shining star. Cerise buys into what Liam is telling her and Cherry Lips is formed.
After a couple of years a lot has changed and Cherry Lips is beginning to make it big on the rock scene. The band is in need of a session guitarist who would only be a temporary fill in on the upcoming tour. Everyone is shocked to see the famous Liam Knight enter the room for the audition. Due to the feelings that Cerise has for Liam she is trying to push him away but knows that there is no one better than Liam to fill that spot in Cherry Lips.
Five years ago Cerise’s heart has been broken because of an unspeakable incident that changed the course of her life and she is terrified to let anyone back in. Liam has his own demons to conquer but is more than willing to for Cerise. Liam and Cerise both had some big mountains to climb which at times just broke your heart. They both had to rediscover trust and just finding themselves. This was a rock romance that had you cheering for them and gave you plenty of steam.

After accosting Nathan at the hospital thinking he was up to no good and not knowing who he was her life is set to take a drastic turn. Both have things they are hiding but they definitely have chemistry and Nathan takes it upon himself to help Becca discover everything that she has missed in her life.
These two have something in common when it comes to the hospital at where Becca volunteers and it will affect each of their lives in possible life changing ways. This book will give you surprises that will keep you turning pages as fast as you can. I can’t wait for more from Cherry Lips!!

This was a lesson that Everly was going to learn when it came to Julian Woods. Julian and his best friend Seth used to be in a rock band with Everly and had a bright future ahead of them before everything came crashing down. Julian and Everly were very serious with each other as well until one day Julian and Seth left the band and Everly behind. She was devastated. What could have possibly broken up the band and the relationship?
Years later and things are coming back around but this time Julian and Seth are in a famous rock band Cherry Lips and Everly is struggling making ends meet and came out of a seriously abusive relationship. Now Julian and Everly find themselves in the same room trying to write a song for Julian and his current band. Will things ever be the same especially because Julian still has an issue with three words and he has no clue of the issues that now face Everly? She is not the woman he remembered.
The relationship between Julian and Everly was thriving and struggling all at the same time. Everly was also realizing how much she missed her old band as well as missing her old self. The connection between these two was hot and this was a book that I had a hard time putting down. If you love rock romance and haven’t yet picked up the rest of the books in the Cherry Lips series do so now. You won’t regret it.

The Chery Lips series has been one I’ve followed from the start and now we have sexy drummer Seth’s story. He is the master drink mixer to the band and has come up with some pretty awful stuff but they drink it none the less. He is the guy who is always their jokester as well. Abby is young and has to deal with most things that an 18 year old has to deal with. She is also Everly’s little sister and has a thing for Seth. Now that seems to becoming a reality. Theirs’s is a sweet romance with angst and hotness.
I wish we had Seth’s POV interlaced along with Abby’s but all is well. I’m just hoping there is more to come from Cherry Lips.

I enjoyed all the stories in his box set, each of them is well written with wonderfully well-defined characters.
Hard Rock Crush - Liam and Cerise have known each other for a long time but have never taken things further than friendship, they both know the business they are in and the falseness which can prevail they both have issues but together could they make it work?
This was an emotional rollercoaster a really well-written love story which had me reaching highs and lows, so well done, I really enjoyed it and can't recommend this one highly enough. It is so worth reading.
Hard Rock Kiss - This book took me on an emotional rollercoaster as I went along for the ride along with Nathan and Becca. Well, that's how Athena Wright made it seem for me. The storyline just pulled me in and kept me reading. I loved both the characters, I thought they were perfect for each other but I admit to having a soft spot for Nathan.
Great character development, a smooth flowing storyline, and fantastic chemistry. I really enjoyed this one.
Hard Rock Muse - Everly and Julian are very different characters although they are perfect for each other their differences make things a little harder at first. The story is told almost entirely from Everly's point of view and although I prefer to have both points of view the author has made it work well in this case.
The characters are very well defined and their connection and chemistry are palpable. I loved the chapter about them reminiscing on how they first met. Everly has had it hard all her dreams and hopes for the future, were crushed and her future career seems dead in the water. She is desperate to get back into the industry and therefore agrees to work with her former bandmate and lover Julian. Julian is the keyboardist for Cherry Lips and is somewhat closed off emotionally he has difficulty expressing his feelings in words. But his actions made it clear how much he cares for Everly.
I liked the flow of the story, the peripheral characters and the storyline in general.
Hard Rock Love - This is Seth's story he is the drummer in the band, he's easygoing and has captured the heart of Abby, the younger sister of his bandmate Everly.
Abby prefers to read a book rather than going to a party she always feels very insecure when she meets strangers. Seth has set his sights on her and she is very surprised by this but pleased by this.
Will, she finally comes to terms with her insecurities and the obstacles still to overcome and will they achieve their happily ever after? I thought that this was an enjoyable, fast-paced story. The characters are well-drawn and their personalities develop as the story progresses.

I always love a good rockstar romance and this author has written some of my absolute favorites. This amazing boxed set features lovable, relatable, well developed characters along with unique and engaging storylines all expertly woven into beautifully written novels.
Hard Rock Crush
What I love about this book is that the heroine, Cerise, is a hard rocking singer and is a character easy to relate to. She has a strong confident persona on stage, and yet she is running from feelings about something in her past. What happened to make her fear relationships? Enter Liam Knight. He is just swoon-worthy! Liam and Cerise have an intense attraction to each other that is palpable. Getting to know the "real" Cerise was intriguing and I was kept engaged as we gradually learned why Cerise and Liam are the way they are.

Hard Rock Kiss is a well written novel that draws you in right from the beginning. Yes, Nathan is the stereotypical famous, womanizing, arrogant rockstar who falls for a regular girl, but he also has great depth to him. He is dedicated and very caring towards those he loves. Becca is a strong, unique character. I don’t want to give anything away, but she has a secret that she keeps from Nathan in the beginning. These two have great chemistry together and I really enjoyed how their story unfolded.

Hard Rock Muse is an entertaining, sweet, second chance romance that illustrates just how words have meaning as do actions. What one cannot communicate in words can be just as strongly revealed through music and actions. Everly was a character that I could easily identify with. At times, my heart positively broke for her, but she is a resilient heroine that I couldn’t help but love. As for Julian, I loved him! He is strong, but also has a vulnerability to him as well as a big heart. Both Everly and Julian have such an amazing connection and I loved the chapter about them reminiscing on how they met.

Seth is the gregarious drummer from Cherry Lips while Abby is a bookish college student who is also the younger sister of Seth’s best friend Everly. Of course, this means that Abby is completely off limits. I adored Seth. He comes across as the jokester, but he has hidden depth. Always putting the others before him, I wanted to give him a big hug as he grapples with the change in band family dynamics. He is so sweet to Abby and one could not help, but love him. Abby is a caring, serious girl which some insecurities. I loved how she was able to “see” Seth. I also enjoyed watching her journey to self discovery. The two of them are great together.

Hard Rock Crush - First book in series. Has some secondary characters from previous series. Full length emotional story about two beautifully broken people. Not a story about sex, drugs, and rock n roll, but about the relationship of the band members. The band members make up secondary characters that feels like family. Both Cerise and Liam have deep hurt in their past and have not shared that with each other, which leads to misunderstandings. Love and forgiveness will be needed for their HEA. This is not insta-love, this story takes place over years. I liked that their relationship is told with them spending time together, not with too much time spent in their own heads. I loved this book!
Hard Rock Kiss - Book two. Nathan is the guitarist for Cherry Lips and what an amazing man he is. With boy next door good looks and a care-giving personality he had me swooning! Becca lives in her parent’s basement and fills her life with working at a pet store and volunteering at the hospital. This book is not insta-love but about two people who spend time together and their relationship takes its time and builds. I loved this book! It has a few steamy parts, but mostly sweet with a little angst.
Hard Rock Muse - Book three. Julian and Everly were young and in love. Their band was on the verge of being signed when Julian walked away. They had miscommunication as well as some outside forces causing their young selves to make mistakes. Years later a chance meeting has them working together. They are both still hurt from their mistakes from the past, but their chemistry is still there. This is a second chance romance and has all the back story and buildup of their new relationship. Learning to trust and communicate with each other again causes a little angst. Julian and Everly both drew me in, I loved them both and I could not put the book down until I had finished their story. Super sweet epilogue!!
Hard Rock Love - Book four. Seth is the last single member of the band and his role as the “fun” guy who always cheered everyone up is changing. Abby is the younger sister of Seth’s friend; she is just 18 and still does not know her place in the world. A chance meeting has Seth and Abby spending more time together and their friendship grows to more. I liked that their relationship did not have a lot of drama and they were able to communicate well. Told solely in Abby’s POV, I would have loved to also have had Seth’s POV told. It was sweet but lacking passion to me, and where is the epilogue? I hope this is not the end of the series!

This Rock Star Romance Series was amazing! It is a collection of the four books from the series.
Hard Rock Crush: Athena crushed it with yet another amazing book! Absolutely loved this story and Cherise and Liam. The chemistry between these two tops the charts! I really enjoyed every interaction they had from the very start. Also loved the passion Cherise has for her band, Cherry Lips, and getting to see their journey into making it big. Very well written. 5 stars!!
Hard Rock Kiss: Wow! This book was so fantastic! I stayed up all night to finish it. I don't ever cry but this book had me in tears. The writing was amazing, the storyline was perfect, and the characters were all so well developed and every little detail was so well planned out. I'm just in awe of this book. I really enjoyed Becca and Nathan's story. I know I'll be reading it again soon (maybe even as soon as I'm done with this review). This book is a standalone but if you've read Athena's other books you get to read about some of her other characters, I really love when an author does this, it's great to see her other characters again. Definitely pick up this book! I know you will love it! 5 stars!!

This was such a great story! I loved getting to see the growth that both these characters go through during the book. Athena did a great job writing this book, as always! She always puts so much care and emotion into every one of her works and you can always tell. 5 stars
Hard Rock Love: I highly recommend you pick up Hard Rock Love! It can be read as a standalone but I liked reading about all the Cherry Lips members in the order the series came out. I couldn't put this book down! It was so great. I really enjoyed reading about Seth and Abby. This book and the characters in it are, for the most part, pretty relatable which was so good to read. I love how Seth puts others first, he is so sweet. Plus he's hot as sin and a rock star drummer! You can't go wrong there. Athena did a fantastic job pulling you in and keeping you interested. She definitely did with me because I read it all in one sitting! 5 stars

I love how Seth puts others first, he is so sweet. Plus he's hot as sin and a rock star drummer! You can't go wrong there. Athena did a fantastic job pulling you in and keeping you interested. She definitely did with me because I read it all in one sitting! 5 stars

OMG! This one is amazing. While the beginning is a bit slower paced, the chemistry between Cerise and Liam just explodes when they finally come together. The way Liam reacts to Morris really brings his own pain and issues around the betrayal into perfect focus when he opens up to Cerise. Her revelations really drive home the reasons for her jackrabbiting every time her wounds are exposed. BRAVO! I have to give a giant thank you to the author for including a very special moment for one of her past heroes. It was sheer perfection to get to see one of your guys take that final step.

Both Nathan and Becca are guarding secrets that they’re sure will destroy their happiness if found out. They have an instantaneous connection and tons of chemistry but fear holds them back. I was impressed that Becca was brave enough to open up and to be honest about herself. Nathan takes a bit longer to share it all. I liked how loving and gentle he was with Becca. He has a few immature moments but takes steps to fix things and sincerely apologizes.

I’ve been waiting for Seth’s book. As the youngest of the band, he comes across as the jokester. Always ready to mix you something really disgusting for a drinking game. The rest of the band groans at his antics with fond smiles. Abby is the serious one. She always with her nose in her school books but there is very little in her life could be called fun. These two balance one another out beautifully and see so clearly beyond what everyone else does. Abby amazed me with her ability to pick up on Seth’s unhappy moments and he sees her pain from living a life of neglect. I cheered when Abby proved her maturity by standing up for herself with her sister. The dates that they each plan for the other were sheer perfection. They fall hard and fast, leaving you with a huge smile.

Cerise has had a huge crush on Liam for a long time and now he's going to be working with her band. Liam has wanted Cerise since he first saw her and didn't know until he saw the band that it was her band he was auditioning for. Now he's going to keep working on her until he gets her. The chemistry between them is palpable. Thinking they can hide it is amusing. When she gives in, it's electric. I like that this story gives a bit of how it is to be a woman in the music scene. This band works their butts off, especially Cerise. The first big show has a great depiction of their reaction to the venue and crowd.

A chance meeting in a hospital corridor becomes much more through talking and adventures. Becca has not really lived much of a life due to overprotective parents and a heart defect. What she thinks will be a one-night stand takes a different different path altogether. Nathan is trying to hide his mother being sick from everyone while leaning on Becca and having some fun with her. Their secrets can only be kept for so long. Good story!

This is a second chance love story--both second chance at a career and at love. Everly has had her career taken from her by her former management. She had much of her self taken by him. Julian needs help writing and Everly is his best choice. She is also his ex. There are a lot of past misunderstandings that need cleared up on multiple fronts. This is a great series.

A brilliant series I thoroughly enjoyed.
Hard Rock Crush: It is lovely to have the roles reversed and the Rockstar be a female lead.
Cerise is a firecracker who had lost her crackle. When you meet her though you soon realise there is so much more to her. Liam though starts with the heaven shining bright but given some time the cracks begin to show.
Together they make a great tale of love loss and heartbreak.
Hard Rock Kiss: This is s beautiful book of love passion heartache and healing.
I loved the characters and the detail to the plot. The story is written with love and understanding for the characters and what they go through.
Nathan has a cool exterior with a very soft and caring underbelly that no-one gets to see.
Becca is living a life of weariness and a fear of burden. When Becca starts to see and feel the world around her Nathan's eyes also start to see possibilities.
Hard Rock Muse: This is one brilliant story. So much emotion came off the page I felt elated, gut punched, soaring happiness and encompassed in love.
The characters are beautifully written with great attention to detail and character development.
The book had its own legs, though it's definitely part of the series and fits well into the bigger universe.
Everly and Julian's story is heart felt and had me engrossed from the first chapter.

I have previously read 3 of the 4 individually as ARCs. Overall, each of these novels are amazingly great stories of each of the band members. These are my reviews.
Hard Rock Crush (Book 1) - A good story. Cerise is the lead singer in her band but has a heavy heart for 5 years. Liam, a guitarist from a different band has joined her group. He, too, is very hurt but with different circumstances. Once both secrets are told to each other, they are able to leave the past in the past, moving forward together.
Hard Rock Kiss (Book 2) - So Moving! This may be a book of fiction but the "pull at your heartstrings" moved me deeply. Have the tissues handy as you'll be pulled into the lives of Nathan & Becca. You'll be pulled into the story of these two characters' lives, their thoughts & worries, their strong attraction towards each other & of how they deal with the news.
Hard Rock Love (Book 4) - How to Snare a Drummer specifically Seth who plays for the Cherry Lips band. This guy is great. He puts other people's needs ahead of his own. He's the guy who uplifts those who are feeling down & unhappy plus he loves to concoct shooters for the band after their concert. He sees Abby all grown up after not seeing her for a few years. Seth & Abby find common ground to get to know each other & she keeps her big sister in the dark until she finds out. It's a realistic story-line which I enjoy reading.

Hard Rock Crush: The complex emotional turmoil between them pulls you into the characters and their lives. The attraction is hot and you feel along with the characters as they heal to move forward. A really great story. Hard Rock Kiss: An intense love story that grabs you from the start and lets you cry, laugh, hurt and love with awesome characters. I was lost in another world with great descriptions and feelings that it became a love hate when the story ends, but definitely a great end. Hard Rock Muse: My Oh My, this is a story you dont want to put down, intense and just wow, you know that great big sigh you feel, where the shoulders relax, I had that feeling when I finished this book. An overall feel good read with great characters, story that flows ànd you feel a part of them. I voluntarily read a copy of this book and just loved it. Hard Rock Love: A story that I really fell for, not just the love story but the personal growth, finding what matters and making it happen. Wonderful characters throughout the series and you keep up on the band as they pursue their dream. I have all these books independently and loved that I could get in the set.

I just love a full series! And this series was really good! Each focuses on a different band member so it's a complete story. The rock star genre is always fun to me - who hasn't had a fantasy of falling in love with a musician?! Some of the scenes in this story are hot, some are sweet and almost all are filled with angst and drama. What's not to love?!

Athena writes rock stars like very few can. You love the vibe, fell the rush and like that first concert experience you ride that excitement as you get to see the behind-the-scenes with these scene stealing cast of talented characters.

I had the pleasure of reading these books after having a courtesy copies of these beautiful stories. I admit I have a favorite story but I will not reveal it. These are all fast paced stories with characters whose personalities develop as the plot takes shape. A really nice read which I highly recommend.

The rockstar genre is one of my fav’s and this stories don’t disappoint. You cann’t help but get engrossed in each of these stories. I found each of these to have well developed characters and storylines that had a little of everything to keep you reading until the end.

This is a GREAT book! So full of emotion. I was hooked from the first page. Liam and Cerise are so good for each other. They both carrying scars from the past that they're not sure they can ever get past.
