You’ve followed The Rules but still, He’s Just Not That Into You. Now what?
While it’s great to suggest that a woman shouldn’t have to conform to unreasonable expectations of perfection in order to attract a guy and keep him, the reality in the dating world is somewhat different. Men are tactile, visual, and visceral, and a spectrum of factors—from the way a woman orders wine to the pictures she has next to her bed to how often she shaves—can be enough to turn a guy off…permanently.
With The Man Plan, relationship columnist Whitney Casey shares with women what men really think on a variety of issues, from the way women dress to how they take care of their cars. Including the opinions of a cross section of single men—as well as such notable personalities as Joel Osteen, P. Diddy, and Dr. Laura Berman—The Man Plan helps women identify the little issues that can make a big impression.
Congratulations Whitney Casey! You have written the lamest book I've attempted to read in years. I managed to get through your lecture on the merits of using deodorant and washing my hair (F.Y.I. - I took health in elementary school) and tolerated your annoying habit of calling vaginas "vajayjays." However, when you suggested *I* watch and memorize 'The Godfather' and learn to cook meat, I decided you were too demented for me.
the writing style was difficult to swallow... the advice was pretty common sense. someone recommended this book, but i think they may have confused it with something else because...nothing life-changing here
I don't know why everyone is dissing this book. just read it and take what you want from the book. its a light read and i admit a bit shallow but it talks about issues women don't want to think about like he sent you home because you have "fajita" hair, that girl probably thinks she committed some major faux pas and didn't know it was just her hair. feminists don't read this as we all know you can do no wrong therefor you wouldn't need any advice on what kind of deodorant or lingerie to wear :* :*
It includes decent cheat sheets for things like ordering fancy food, wine pairings, and pronouncing luxury brand names. Gives helpful tips on "where the boys are." Read it twice, actually. I'd recommend to a friend who needs to re-evaluate the type of fish she's been catching.
