This is just more mil-porn written following the Terminal List road map of adventure. Filled with more name-dropping ads than a Nascar driver's suit, you barrel along with paper thin characters to unsurprising events until it ends with (spoiler alert) the traitorous military leader no one would ever expect (except, of course you knew long before) being killed by his (of course) protégé leading to pages of "epiloges" where the world is right again.

I was glued to the pages! Harrison is exceptional at building a beautiful world to visualize and live in. Each character is captivating leaving you with hard emotions as the story unfolds. I found myself getting choked up and that doesn’t happen to me often when reading. A masterful military thriller! Excited to read the next one!

Phenomenal

I see many books compared to some of my favorite authors and they do not compare. But this book is compared to Brad Thor, Vince Flynn and Jack Carr. This book actually lives up to that comparison. Very well written and riveting from beginning to end. I have purchased the next two in the series and look forward to more from this author. Excellent job, Mr. Kone!

Saber Down - best I've read in a while

This was one of my best reads in a while. David Shaw writes very realistically, and the story line feels very much like the real thing. Very hard to put it down, even though it registered many similar memories of time in the Corps. Semper Fidelis.

I did enjoy Saber Down and now I will be looking forward to book 2.

It had frailties in the heros and gave some closer to true life in the action and while this was a bit gruesome, it bore some reality which I like in an action story like this.

I would recommend it to readers.

Couldn't put it down! The story jumps off the pages as a realistic action thriller, with a strong thread of good vs evil. The characters come alive as we learn their histories and understand how they tick. Can't wait for more.
