After weeks contemplating his future as a Q2 agent, Swan is drawn into the investigation of a tech billionaire who has curiously turned his attention to the world’s food supply.
Jason Deele has the money and the resources to revolutionize an industry, but there’s a sinister element to his plan.
Even more alarming, Deele has teamed with a scientist harboring her own dark agenda.
Still questioning the authenticity of his own soul, Swan’s pursuit of the diabolical pair will bring him face-to-face with ultimate evil.
How can he prevent a global catastrophe while battling his own unique demons?
Just finished books 2-4. Read book one last summer and decided to get back to Eric Swan when I saw that book 4 came out. I really enjoy these books. The story lines are interesting and realistically scary. I never seem to figure out where the story is headed until it’s revealed, which I love. Lots of twists and turns. I love Eric’s snarky humor, he reminds me a bit of Myron Bolitar (a Harlan Coben character with a smart ass style when he’s in trouble). The concept of Eric being able to download his consciousness, and if he dies trying to save the world, uploading into a new body is fascinating, makes you wonder if you’d do it if you could? The characters are well developed and I really can’t wait for Poole to finally laugh at one of Eric’s quips.
Enjoyed this book and it was left so I hope there will be more to follow. I enjoy reading books by someone I have meant several times. Keep them coming!
