This is the third and final book in the Zakone Bratva Series. This book is very intense and filled with danger. The Russian mob at it's worse and it's dark world of human trafficking. Robert was a wealthy and powerful politician who was determined to receive his purchase of Katie the young virgin. Alexander was thinking of protecting her but he came to the conclusion that would cost him his life. Robert was not nice to his girls but there was nothing they could do. If they escaped or talked he would have them killed in order to protect his reputation. Katie and Sylvia one of his other girls found comfort in each other. Alexander finds out that his father might not have been who he thought he was. The book gives us a glimpse into the horrible world of human trafficking and the horrible conditions the girls are kept in. They are constantly administered drugs and wallow in dirty cages. The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!
By the time you’ve figured out who is who and how deep hate/love can run, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter!

Talk about DARK very DART dealing with human trafficking. Robert is a wealthy and powerful politician who was determined to purchase a young virgin. Alexander discovers a bit of information about his father, father-in-law ‘s human trafficking business and when he is mistaken for their lead guy Maksim and beat with inches of his life Robert demands he kidnap Katie. He is against all of this however, he is risking his life to keep and protect her however, Robert is too powerful and he isn’t an nice guy to anyone especially with his girls and if they escape he kills them to protect his reputation. While kidnapped Katie meets Sylvia one of his other girls and they find comfort in each other. Alexander in the meantime finds out his father may/may not be his father so what will this go and what happens. This is dark but glad they show a little about the world of human trafficking which isn’t talked about much also the way these innocent girls are treated and their lives and overall sad situation and one that needs the light shined on it more.

Darker and with triggers.......disturbing but also captivating
Sold is the third book in the Zakone Bratva series and continues the story of Alexander and his crazy journey in his father and father-in-laws Bratva world. I am not going to lie as this book was darker to read and I found disturbing, as it does not have a good resolution yet. Be warned that you have to have read the previous books and will have to read the rest in this series, as this story is not done yet.
This book really hits you with Alexander dealing with finding out about what his father, Maksim, and Lia's father, Miroslav, have been doing in business together. You also get to meet Robert, a wealthy politician in NYC, who has a type of girl that he likes to buy and then keep locked in his penthouse. This turns out to be Katie who has a harrowing experience to say the least. The ending is not quite what I expected but it does set up the next book which will take us back to Russia and Maksim's older brother Alexei, as Maria told a secret to Alexander which has not only blown his world but also gives him someone to reach out to and help take down Maksim and Miroslav.
This book is well written, has a story-line that is filled with a lot of emotional content and two characters that are lovely and the rest you would not want to meet, even in broad daylight. Be warned that this book has several triggers so be prepared.

Wth is this author thinking - 38 pages is not a book nor worth 4 bucks. I came into this series on this book, book 3. For me, this was a big disappointment. This book is not title appropriately to inform a paying reader that each book is about 35 pages if that and this booK sells for 4 bucks on the Canadian site! I\I just shook my head - what is an author thinking. This book is 8 chapters. I didn’t read the previous books and I won’t bother. I simply do not understand what moves an author to take basically a novella to begin with and then divide it into 3 books? To me, it’s beyond ridiculous and it annoyed and frustrated me - it makes a reader feel mislead and ripped off - so there’s no way that didn’t flavour my review especially when I bought the books, then had to go through customer service to get my money back once I realize that all 3 books didn’t even count a 100 pages total, I wouldn’t pay 7 bucks for 100 pages if it was a well known author. For me, I will delete this and the author - I don’t mind paying appropriately for a book that is actually book length but I won’t be mislead or manipulated

I was kind of disappointed by this book. It is very dark and there’s no redeeming qualities in any of the characters. They don’t care about anyone as they are the russian mafia. They sell girls into sexual slavery. What didn’t make sense is that this was a short book, and it life two story lines on cliffhangers. Just how many very short stories will it take for the full story? Why not just write a normal length book? And the book was so short you really don’t care about any of the characters. Even Katie, the young virgin sold to a wealthy man, I really couldn’t care about. The author didn’t convey enough about her and what she was going through, and Katie herself didn’t seem to care about what happened to her. When the girl Robert was promised never showed he decides to go get her, only he ends up taking Alexander thinking he was Maksim. Now Alexander has a choice he needs to protect Lei and get to the bottom of their fathers business. Katie could only guess what was going to happen when Alexander gave her over to Robert but she never expected to find a solace in Sylvie another girl Robert was keeping. Well written short mafia romance, adding more characters and layers to this little series, with desires, and twists.

This entire series has been dark but this one is by far the darkest
It all centres around Alexander he is taken and beaten by a politician after he is mistaken for his father and is told he has to bring the girl that the politician Robert paid for. Alexander would like to save Kate but can't think of any way to do without getting himself killed so he goes after his father Maksim instead but is Maksim really his father Meanwhile Kate is finding a small degree of comfort with fellow captive Sylvia Is there any way they will get their freedom

Robert is rich and a politician and likes virgins, so he buys one. Kate is kidnapped and drugged. While in captivity at Robert's she meets Sylvia and they form a bond. This deals with human trafficking. This is a dark story that deals with themes that could be disturbing for some. I thought it was a well written story and the characters were good. The subject matter although is a hard topic the book was good. I was hooked. It is a short story but it was a good story.

This book is not really a standalone and I recommend reading Alexander and Maksim before enjoying this read. It is a dark tale and woven into the journey of discovery Alexander is making. The main part is about Katie, her abduction and subsequent story, the way it developed was a totally surprise to me. The ending is slightly left open with Alexander in mind and I wonder if or hope to see more of him.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters were intriguing. Robert a wealthy politician gets what he wants and he wants Katie because she is a virgin, she was kidnapped by the human traffickers. The girls are not treated well they are drugged and sold to sadistic men and Robert is no different.

A riveting book three in the Zakone Bratva series! It is well thought out, dark, gritty, emotionally deep, rough, and raw. An on the edge of your seat captivating heart-wrenching read that is full of nail-biting suspense, twists and turns, human trafficking, and more. The characters you will like and root for. I look forward to the next book. Definitely recommended!

This is the third book in the Zakone Bratva series and it was so good! I was hooked from the first page and the twists and turns kept me glued to the pages. The characters are well developed, the plot is well written, and I loved everything about it. A great read and one I enjoyed immensely.

Wow tuff subject to write about
The story was good, a bit mortifying subject wise. Human trafficking s a hard pill to swallow. Altho I am glad Katie and Sylvia found love in the the worst possible situation. I do wish the ending would have been different but hopefully in the next book everyone will b saved. That's why the 4 stars.

Katie’s life will never be the same after she is kidnapped & sold to a wealthy man, Robert. Robert is not content with just one girl and soon after arriving Katie meets Sylvia. Katie finds at least one aspect of good in her situation as things between her and Sylvia heat up when Robert is at work.

The author pulls you into the story and never lets go. Your heart starts pounding from the very first paragraph and does not stop. Twists and turns keep you turning the pages.

Gotta say I am loving Alexander 😉 this was such a good read, I really enjoy when there are stories within stories and then they come together! I cannot wait for Alexander and Alexei to come together!

This story was dark, had action in it and sometimes made me flinch. The underbelly of human trafficking and how the women were treated was really really bad..Great characters and a well written story.

Some more twists and turns take place here that had me reeling and unable to blink. I was taken by surprise but in a good way. Now I can't wait for the next one.
