Good romance, mystery/crime

Nice to read about people who could be your neighbors or people who could be on a community project with you. Also like that they were people who had to deal with/get over 'hurts' and pasts before falling in love. Real life is full of bumps, detours and pain - sometimes they're speed bumps - sometimes they're mountains; sometimes it's breaking up with your first 'love' - sometimes it's the loss of a loved one; sometimes it's getting past scars left by less than perfect childhoods. In other words - Real Life.
I really liked that this author wrote enough descriptors about people in previous books that if you hadn't read that book you had insight into those people/situations for it to make sense in the current context without beating you over the head with information that really wasn't really pertinent to the present story. It was refreshing to enjoy people connecting and falling in love without having to read all the intimate details - don't get me wrong, I think lust is great, I just get tired of seeing it, reading about it and hearing about it with every single thing I expose myself to.

I was sent this book from the author at no cost to me. This book has two novels in it. Two different authors. I personally liked the first story much better. The True Blue series is a dynamite series of cops, their K-9 partners, love and faith in God. I enjoyed everything in the first story. I loved the storyline of the second book, but the main couple I did not care for. Both stories are filled with excitement and inspiration, and I highly recommend.

K-9 Suspense Duo

A good K-9 Suspense set of books that takes place in New York City
Enjoyed both Laura Scott and Lenora Worth's books. Always enjoy books that involve stories that have dogs involved with their partners solving crimes. They are good to read inbetween heavy duty novels. Keep these 2 authors in mind for a suspense story that is entertaining but relaxing to read.

Two K-9 officers find love on the New York city streets.

Loved being with this author again. Finn and Eva story and Gavin and Brianne stories were exciting from start to finish. Both men needed these special ladies in their lives. The dogs made it extra special too. Looking forward to reading more in the series.

Suspense and Secrets

I like the suspense and intrigue in both stories. Both are well-written. Imagine a dog being able to sniff out a bomb or drugs. There are evil people who aren't content earing an honest living but are intent on selling drugs or scaring people to sell their homes.

Good read

Lots of suspense, with the odd twist, 2 great K 9 bomb detectors, and two officers willing to risk their lives for others.

The story dragged quite a bit for me. I kept putting down it down and struggled to pick it up again. It was an okay story with references to other characters and plots not finished.
