I love mutual pining! Especially between people who are so controlled, so buttoned up, like Nick and Rebecca. And then when they try the "just one time" thing, as if they can each get the other out of their system? Delicious. When the dam breaks (the dam holding back the longing and lust and...love?) Nick and Rebecca are explosive!
Intense and explicit sexual content, D/s dynamic including "Daddy" honorific, restraints, spanking, pain play.

This was a scorcher of a holiday romance novella. I’ve never seen Secret Santa played that way before LOL. But, um, yes, very into it. Nick and Rebecca have had unrequited pants feelings for one another for their three years of working together. Then Rebecca reaches her breaking point and quits. And when they go to the same play party and Nick picks her Secret Santa fantasy, it’s on. This was all thoroughly enjoyable but then came a scene that I found quite unsettling. It didn’t sit well with me as it stood. But I also didn’t understand why she kept trying to run away from having a conversation when it was clear that he was into her. The other piece of this is that they worked together for three years but never had a personal conversation because he was trying not to lust over his employee. And yet somehow they know they’re in love with one another. Look, if you never had a personal conversation in three years, I will absolutely buy lust but I will not buy love, no matter how good your one night of sex was. On the other hand, those were some really hot sex scenes so I know they’ll be good on that front, at least.

Santa Daddy was my first time reading Murray, but it won't be my last. This is a hot, kinky holiday read that is very quick and enjoyable.
As the title would suggest, this does involve Daddy kink, and some other BDSM fun (nipple clamps, spankings, beltings, restraints, etc.) Most of the book takes place at a small play party, where subs can write down exactly what they want from a scene and then the Doms may pick the one that also fits their kinks -- basically Secret Santa but make it kinky.
Nick and Rebecca already know each other very well -- he has been her boss for the last 3 years, but right before Christmas she quits, wanting to have a life, as she tells him. What she doesn't tell him is she's also quitting because she's been in love/lust with him from the start and can't take working around him anymore. He doesn't tell her, but he's also had feelings for her, which he never acted on because hello, that would be inappropriate!
They never expected to find each other at this kinky party, but since their scene desires match up so perfectly, and she no longer works for him, why not give in for the night? The only problem is, when the scene ends, they're both going to have to grapple with the other feelings they've been hiding all these years.
Murray writes a very dirty, kinky sex scene. Damn! I would definitely recommend checking this one out for a spicy holiday escape. ;)

Seriously, Nicholas and Rebecca were two peas in a pod when it came to their kink and when they finally go all in with each other, the book is guaranteed to singe you! Nicholas is the cliché Hero who thinks his fascination with Rebecca is because of the whole want-what-you-can’t-have forbidden aspect of it so it was definitely fun to watch Rebecca blow his socks off (pun intended!)
You realize he’s a lot of talk but deep down, he’s a sweet guy . . .
And that was the perfect combination that Rebecca needed. She’s been burned in the past but she’s brave enough to go after what she wants and try again. It’s a bonus that it finally happens with the guy she’s been crushing on for so long!
If you’re in the mood for a spicy holiday read with romance, kink and a smidge of angst and drama, this one is perfect! Highly recommend 😊 Don’t let the cover side track you, lol!

His style of play was often hard and rough, but once it was over, he turned from grizzly bear to teddy bear.

I liked this read, but I do prefer more Christmas in my Christmas romances. This could have been the exact same story set on a random Tuesday and I like some more of that Christmas magic feeling. But putting aside my own desire for more holiday cheer, this was a pretty fun and steamy read. This reads more like an insta-love because while our MCs did work together for 3 years, we don't see any of those years on page. They do both come to the realization that they'd developed feelings while working together so I guess it isn't ~techinically~ insta-love but it sure feels like it. I also wanted some more character details from both of our MCs. Outside of their shared kinky side, I don't think much else was given to the reader. I fully acknowledge that I might have been expecting too much out of a 170 page novella - I understand that there's only so much plot and character development that can fit in those pages and novellas aren't my go-to reading length. So I would recommend this for readers who want a well done BDSM novella with some holiday elements. The chemistry between Nick and Rebecca was spectacular and I loved how the BDSM elements were handled from the initial negotiations to safewords being used and respected, to aftercare.

Wonderful story line with believable characters who have had the hots for each other for 3 years but worked together so could not act on the desire. Rebecca has had it with her job. Her boss, Nicholas, is a gorgeous, growly dominant who she has been secretly drooling over for years. She works over time all the time and is well paid, but has no life, so on Saturday after working half the day right before Christmas she turns in her resignation and walks out the door. Nicholas is stunned. He has wanted his assistant since she took the job, but as her boss, could not approach her.

Oh, the heat is HOT, and the physical chemistry is captivating so be careful you may just get burned all the heat coming off these pages. There were some "oh no" "oh wow" " what the what" moments and add in uncanny mishaps, and shenanigans the good kind that makes you keep turning the pages till last page has been turned. Rebecca wanted Nick from the moment she met him year’s ago as his assistant however, two things were against her work policy and he was her boss. Little did she know Nick felt the same way about her he couldn’t help himself but two things were against him her assistant and work policy, but no one mention after quitting the Christmas party at the BDSM club both of them needed to work out their stress out on something/someone either way some destressing was needed but is there something there for the two of them?

It's actually the first part/prequel to Sharing His Submissive, introducing Nick, Rebecca and other memebers of their lifestyle club. Secretly in love with each other, Nick and Rebecca meet up at a kinky Christmas party and find out that they are a perfect fit. It's steaming hot and spicy, with sweetness added by friends and family. There is a HFN befitting the holiday season and lots of hints of what's to come.

This book is about Nick and Rebecca. Nick is Rebecca’s workaholic boss. She has put up with him (whilst secretly lusting after him) for 3 years and she has had enough. They both end up at a BDSM Christmas party. This book is hot hot hot. There is some explicit BDSM scenes. I enjoyed the storyline that went through it. It finishes with a HEA.

A fantastic short story erotic BDSM romance filled with plenty of kinky sexy scenes, lots of sexual tension, hot alpha male daddy dom and a bratty strong female submissive, drama galore and a great ending. Very well written, interesting diverse brilliantly developed characters with amazingly strong chemistry and a gripping steamy storyline. This was such a super steamy romance! Nicholas and Rebecca have incredible chemistry together, and it was hot enough to melt off your panties! I love how bold and open Rebecca was at the party and I almost died at the scene she wrote out! This was very entertaining and totally hot!

The exact thing I needed at exactly the right time. I loved it a lot for the mutual pining, kink, and ultra sexiness. It does sort of feel like HFN though because the issue of Nick being a workaholic and Rebecca not working are unresolved. But my imagination can fill the gaps. Lol
