The entire Dubrovsky family heads to snowy Russia for a family Christmas. Brennen fears Dmitri's homophobic father's rejection. Dmitri believes when they present their daughter, that all will be forgiven, but steps into a mess upon arriving with his husband. Instead of greeting Dmitri and Brennen with hugs and kisses, Grandma Dubrovsky whisks baby Dominika away, leaving them alone with Dmitri's angry father. Can they stay if it means abiding by his rules? This is a story of love, forgiveness, and miracles during the holiday season. Dmitri and Brennen overcome issues which have been troubling their relationship, each growing and learning how to best be what the other needs. There are many surprises during the holiday season for all of them. This is best if read after Make Me (Book 3 in the Rent Me series.) If you read it as a standalone, you will surely wish you had read the first three books.

2 and 1/2 stars rounded up. I’ve decided that this is just not the author for me. There was not much story here . It was just way too much sex. I haven’t read the other books in this series, but if I had it would have made it worse. I’ve been reading mm romance for many years, and although I want the main characters to have sex, I also want a good story to go with it.
Dmitri and Brennan are married. They are taking their daughter to meet her Russian grandparents for her first Christmas. Brennan is worried because the last time he visited his in-laws they treated him badly. Dmitri's mother warms up to Brennan quickly but the father takes a while all of Dmitri's brothers say if their father doesn't stop insulting Brennan that the father will never see any of them again. By the end of the trip he still doesn't understand how anyone could be gay but come to accept Brennan a into the family.
A beautiful Christmas novella in the world of Dmitri and Brennen. A Russian/American Christmas and a quick trip to Ireland. More family welcomed with Brennen Grandparents and Mishca’s daughter Noelle.

This was fantastic!!!!! So happy that Dmitri could let go some of his control, treat Brennen as an equal, and to trust in the love and devotion they have for each other. Proud that they all stood up against his father, defended and demanded the Brennen was shown love and respect. This was accepting, sweet, trusting, smoking hot, pure love story... I LOVE THIS SERIES I LOVED THIS STORY OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!
Dmitri and Brennen visit Dmitri's family in Russia with their child Dominika. However its not a nice smooth trip to visit the family.
Dmitri's father is homophobic and will not accept Brennan as part of the family, causing issues into their already troubling relationship. Dmitri needs to play nicer, being a Dom/Daddy doesn't mean you have to be bossy and overpowering in everyday life.
Will they survive this holiday or will it drive a wedge even further between them.
Good book and a look at how families can come together even at Christmas, love how the brothers stuck together, expect a few tears or at least holding your breathe when you read certain parts.
I normally listen to audios between 1.15 and 1.35 speed, this one I had to turn down to 0.95. Even at that rate it was still a bit fast but I think a lot was down to his accent. But I made it work for me.
For Me A Christmas Story from the Rent Me Series By: Brina Brady Narrated by: Alan Lewis Length: 2 hrs and 33 mins
❤❤❤❤ Overall 🎧🎧🎧 Narration 📚📚📚📚📚 Story Read at 0.95 speed on Audible
Married couple Dimitri and Brennen Dubrovsky travel with their baby daughter, Dominika to visit Dimitri's family in Russia for Christmas. They're joined by Dmitri's brothers, Adrik and Mischa, and Mischa's wife, Giselle.
Brennen has his misgivings about staying with the Dubrovsky patriarch and matriarch, Valerik and Helena. This is the angst for the story.
This was difficult to get through. If I had read the other books in the "Rent Me" series, I think I would have enjoyed it more.
This was scorching hot! But being a short story, everything was wrapped up neatly like a Christmas present...a little too neatly. There are very few loose ends and the ending is abrupt.
The imagery is richly described. But it is assumed you already know the characters. If you're a fan of the "Rent Me" series, you'll enjoy this.
I received this d/s holiday book in yhe Rent Me series. I have read some one or teo books in the series and enjoyed reading this one. Brennen and Dmitri have their hea, and now they journey to Russia, together with Dmitri his brothers and their partners, to ittroduce their little girl to Dmitri his parents. Read how the family dynamics develop Also Dmitri has a big surprise for Brennen whem they visit Ireland after American Christmas in Russia. I recommend this book if you like a short and sweet d/s story with an established couple who find their new normal after a change in the family dynamics.4,5

Always leave the door open for Christmas miracles! Brennen, Dmitri and their daughter, Dominika head to Russia for a family Christmas gathering. Brennen are wary because Dmitri's family is still homophobic. They are hoping for happy family Christmas. Dmitri's Dad, has concerns. His Mom, was a peach. We get exposed to a few Russian traditions and family dynamics. Is Valerik, still homophobic? Can he accept Brennen? Will he learn Brennen's story? Nicely done. I had never read this author before when I picked this up. I will definitely go back and read the series. Loved Brennen and Dmitri! This was a fantastic Christmas novella. I adored this authors writing, it left me with a smile! Overall, a fantastic read. The story flowed nicely, highly recommend. I’m voluntarily reviewing from an advanced copy that I received. Dimitri and Brennan take their daughter to visit family in Russia for Christmas, but it does not go as planned. The characters are strong and grow even more so as the story unfolds, changing the dynamic of their relationship to a strong, supportive and protective bubble. Totally enjoyed the banter and situations they get into. The storyline deals with misconceptions, family beliefs and love that is so strong. The characters are memorable and work together in an easy loving way. Great ending.

This is a sweet Christmas story about loving, learning, growing, embracing the season, and (possibly) a Christmas miracle. Will a grandchild break down the walls of anger and homophobia? I loved this Christmas travel story and learning about some different customs. The blurb is correct - I don't think this works well as a stand alone. You miss too much history. Read the other books first.

I had read the first story in this series but not the next two. I knew most of the characters, except of course, the ones in Russia, so there was minimal confusion for me except for how they got the baby. Anyway this was as intense, sexy, and slightly brutal as that first story. Bren and Dmitri are excellent characters, but Dimitri's father is a homophobic pig. Great story, makes me want to catch up on what I've missed.
Bren and Dmitri take baby Dominika to Russia for her first Christmas. In true holiday spirit, the Dubrovsky family find love in their hearts in their own special way. I was surprised and pleased with this heartwarming yet sexy story.
I was a little concerned about the relationship between Brennan and Dimitri at the beginning, but it seemed to be equalling out by the end when they agreed that their Dom/submissive relationship would only be in the bedroom.
I think I would have enjoyed this more if I had read previous stories but I was still glad to see that things in their life are going well despite some rough spots. I listened to the audio version and it was very well done.
For Me is my introduction to Brina Brady. I enjoyed reading this story. It was full of angsts, love, and good feels. I will definitely be looking up the rest of the series. I missed so much.
🎧4.5 stars Narrated by Alan Lewis A good narration for this book. Although there was no different voices used for each character, it was easy to know who which diolog was used. This was enjoyable to listen to. I'd read the books previously and it was great to revisit them in a differant format.
Dmitri and Brenden are husbands but it hasnt been easy to get to that point. Now have their 6 month old daughter who is spoilt rotten. Setting for a trip to Russia to see the grandparents for Christmas. Brenden is still the brat Dimitri knows and loves. Dmitri's Russian family prove had for them both with homophobic slurs with the stepson issues reintroduced. There Dom and Sub relationship is a great journey to jump into. Lots included with their Family and heaps of sexy times. -----------------------------------------------‐--------------- This is another fantastic book by Brina. I love these guys and missed reading their story. Dmitri and Brennen are gearing up to visit Moscow to see Dmitri Parents and Brennen is less enthusiastic about going. To say his last experience with him didn't go too well. Now they have their 6 month old daughter to think about They intend staying with his parents for 2 days then leaving their daughter in their care while they have a short much need vacation. When they arrive its not a good reception but I can grantee this book is beautiful at the end you need to read to see what happens next.
Oh, yes! It finally happened! After reading Make Me, I was thinking there were things I really wanted to happen, but didn't. So, I was happy to find out about this book and even happier after I read it. I can't give spoilers, but I absolutely loved Dmitri's present for Brennon. For Me starts out with Brennon and Dmitri traveling to Russia for the holidays. The vacation is a little rough at first with Dmitri's homophobic parents making comments, but things work out for the best. After a short stay in Russia, Brennon and Dmitri take a trip to Ireland together to have some alone time. They go on a pub tour that really made me feel like going to Ireland. I appreciated the amount of research in this book. There were many cultural details for Ireland and Russia that made the setting come alive. As for Brennon and Dmitri, they have come so far in their relationship. They started out a tumultuous mess in book 1, but by the end of this book, they're pretty much the perfect couple.
Going to Russia for their Christmas vacation, there was a bit of a struggle but not very much. Dmitri and Brennen have become a lot more closer, and Christmas miracles were coming in their family. There were some funny parts that I could not stop laughing. I mean, I was in tears for that. There is also one part that made me in tears between Brennen and Dmitri's father. Definitely a must-read Christmas story!!
The Dubrovskys have had many ups and downs. This book sets the stage for the uniting of all of the family. Dmitry and Brennan take their daughter Dominika and the brothers and Mischa's wife to Russia for Christmas. They spend Christmas Eve and begin a trip together for some "alone time." A warm and surprising chapter in the story of Brennan and Dmitry. I really hope there is more of the story..
I loved this story so much. The Dubrovsky Family goes to Russia for Christmas with the family. Brennan is afraid of Dmitri’s Father not wanting him around. Dmitri’s hope their daughter will smooth things over with his parents especially his dad. When they get there Grandma Dubrovsky isso taken with Dominika. Leaving both of them to face Dmitri's father. In this beautiful story of love there will be many magical Christmas miracles.
Squee!!! I loved this!! I laughed, cried & screamed of excitement (lol) Dmtri really surprised me in this book & it made me so happy :D This book was all full of surprises & Christmas miracles! A Must Read for the holidays :)
I love these guys but still the jealousy & insecurities are OTT. I loved seeing their home time w/the baby. That little girl is going to be so spoiled when she grows up, as well as well loved & protected. I hope there will be more of these boys.
