Not scientifically accurate.

The author may have taught radio use in the Army. His bio says he did. But a person studying for the most basic ARRL licensing exam would be smart to use a real test study guide. His explanations are garbled and in several cases, they disagree with the test answers.

I recommend using the ARRL Antenna Book.

Not what you might expect

An in-depth look at home antenna construction, well suited to those with space and adequate equipment for basic construction techniques, fairly easy to understand and very helpful for those wishing to learn more about the way antennas work and why.
