This is the exciting second frontier adventure in the "A Will Mountain Man Western" series! Will Thomas had faced the mountain pass that had nearly cost him his life. He had no idea that a trip to buy horses could put him more danger while introducing him to a boy that was full of more fight than he had ever seen. His reason for fight was revenge for the murder of his father and the return of his mother and sister. Will ends up facing challenges he would have never imagined but is driven by his past to succeed. His commitment to the Utes takes him into world he had never dreamed possible. Grab your copy today!
Fred Staff is a retired history teacher who has devoted his writting to historical novels. He is a native of Oklahoma and totally taken by the many stories of the Indian Territory. He spends many hours in research and strives to make his stories educational as well as entertaining.
The Will Thomas series would be among the better reads except for one major deficiency: the books are in dire need of a good copy editor — or even an adequate one. Many misspelling ‘errors’ could be blamed on spellcheck (the books are replete with erroneous homophones) or the use of computerized transcription. Punctuation and sentence structure are sloppy. I’m skipping the last two books.
