Feet transformed into geta sandals... Ears turned into gyoza dumplings... patients under emotional stress can attract parasitic spirits that cause all sorts of strange symptoms! What treatment methods will mysterious disease specialist Dr. Ramune use to help his patients? And who is the strange little girl who crafts all of his magical gadgets?
3.5 rounded up for the first story and some excellent showing without telling for Niko-nii's condition. The opening story is one that the anime adaptation skipped over, possibly because it isn't food-based; the woman's feet have turned into geta. Interestingly enough, this story features one of the women from the chikuwa penis guy's story, and the two happen concurrently. Ramune himself is a bit of a twit, but the manga is exceeding my expectations.
The first case showed us a bit more of the chikuwa dude from volume 1, but from the perspective of one of the many girls he was playing. He was even worse than I thought, the way he treated her. That case was particularly frustrating.
The Hide and Seek chapters were interesting. I just really like the new characters from the magic shop. Nico and Granny Ayame are great. <3
I really enjoy this series... and Ramune’s brother is blind?? That’s really cool. Not many blind people can echo locate, but some can. And I like that he can see spirits. I hope he plays a bigger role in the future. Also excited this is being made into an anime.
