Megan

When I left Fairmore, I was never going to return. Ben would never forgive me for not looking back, and I needed more. Leaving him broke my heart, and it's best to leave the past in the past. But when tragedy strikes, I have nowhere to go but home. All I have to do is avoid Ben. That would be a lot easier if he did not keep appearing, looking better than ever. Coming home is going to get complicated.

Ben

When I was assisting the new homeowners with their move, I did not expect to see Megan. After she left me without a backward glance, she made her choices clear. I've been fine without her in my life. Better than fine. She's not the only one who can change, and I'm not the man I used to be. The sooner she leaves, the better. All we have to do is stay out of each other's way. How hard can that be?

Fairmore is about to get more interesting.

"The better question is how much can I take before having a mental breakdown?"

Wow! A second chance romance, with nearly insurmountable odds. Megan and Ben were best friends, that turned to romance, and then a break up that devastated. After years being away, a tragedy brings Megan home, and the only thing that could further complicate her heart-rending situation, is running into Ben, again. So, of course she does. Over and over. As if taking on a house full of emotionally wrecked children wasn't enough, Megan has to contend with a crazed stalker - one who apparently wants her dead. Yet, somehow Ben and Megan find each other, again. Can love bloom amid the tragedy and danger looming all around? In "Reignite: Wild Hearts," by Marie Scully, you can expect drama, angst, heartbreak, heartache, mystery, danger, thrills, devastating loss, untold challenges, healing, heat and romance. A romance that is very difficult to put down - very enthralling. I received this book as an ARC from Hidden Gems Books, and I volunteered this review.

Megan and Ben were best friends from childhood then sweethearts until the end of college. Megan chose to smoke to New York and Ben chose to stay in Fairmore and work the family ranch. Years later Megan is back after inheriting her sister’s three children due to her and her husbands death in a car accident. When Megan and Ben reconnect the fun begins with their interesting and exciting romance as they wrangle their way through an angry teen, a child that wouldn’t talk, old friends trying to set you up together, danger from an old case of hers from New York, facing ghosts from the past, realizing you never stopped loving each other. Good read

Megan and Ben have a long history that diverted after college. She went to New York and he stayed on the ranch. Now she is back to care for her sisters children after the parents were killed in a car accident. Stress with three children that do not understand fully what is happening, and crossing paths continually with her ex boyfriend. The reconnections of Megan and Ben is like a roller coaster ride. Not fully revealing everything that is going on is hurting their relationship and when she finally does, the horror gets worse and almost ends them both. The ending is perfect and the vacation at the resort was fun. Loved the storyline and I was hooked from the very beginning.

This is my first book by this author and I enjoyed it. So much happens throughout the whole book, but the saddest part for me was why Megan ended up looking after her nieces and nephew. It was heartbreaking for all involved but also shows how the saddest if times can bring out the best in people.
Ben was a great character and even though Megan was hot and cold throughout all the years they were in each other’s lives, he never stopped loving her.
My only criticism of the book is the flashbacks. I love when a story does this usually but for some reason with this book it seemed that it was all over the place. It’s probably just me!!

An amazing, scary, thoughtful, and beautiful love story/mystery
Meghan and Ben’s history dates back to college after which their paths took them in different directions. She went to New York while he went back to stay on the family ranch. However, due to her sister and brother-in-law being killed in an auto accident, she has returned to take care of their children. It has also provided her with a refuge from the psychopath that has been trying to kill her as she has been doing her best to bring him out of hiding so he can be arrested. She thought that she had left him behind in New York; however, it turns out he is there and is trying to kill her and those she loves.
I couldn’t put this book down until I’d finished.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. This is the second book in the Wild Hearts series but each book can be read as a standalone.
After Megan's sister and brother-in-law die in a horrible accident she gains custody of her sisters three children. Megan is a workaholic and doesn't know the first thing about raising kids. She decides the best thing is to take them to her home town where she grew up. She just never thought she would run into him on the first day back.
There has only been one love for Ben and that's his childhood best friend. He knew she was bound for bigger things than their small town so he did the selfless thing and let her go. Hoping one day she would return.
I really am enjoying this series and can't wait for the next book.

I recieved an ARC of this book for an honest review. A second chance at love book, Megan and Ben spent many years together and then many years apart. After the death of her sister and brother-in-law, she is left with her two nieces and nephew, moving them back to her hometown. Add in running into Ben and you can't help but see the sparks return. It sweet read with a little scary monster from her recent past.

I love Marie Scully, she has a way of keeping you reading as you need to know what's going to happen next!
Ben and Megan's story is no different. When Megan returns home from New York with her nieces and nephew, the one person she hopes to avoid is Ben. But Ben is the first one she sees. While the flame is still there, can they get past the hurt of her leaving? Or was the fire just needing reignited?
