This is a story about Vincent and Vivian. Vinson is a rich playboy that gets his way and is spoiled. Vivian is a woman that wants high society and all the bells and whistles that go with it. That is why she is with Vincent. I really don't care for his character but I fell in love with Vivian. The character development was on point. I love how the characters in the story made the plot stand out. I enjoy the plot with its twists and turns. I thought the story was going to end one way but the author had me fooled. I like the setting that it was in Detroit and mentioned several local landmarks. Overall I really enjoyed the storyline. I recommend this to avid book readers. This is my first time reading this author but it will not be my last. I give the story five stars.

This is another book way outside my typical genre I might pick up to read myself. I was lucky enough to get a galley copy. That being said, it’s perfectly enjoyable and had a bit of something for everyone.

Whether you’re looking for suspense, drama, a little thrill, or a pinch of soap opera, this book is sure to do it for you. With many twists and turns you sure aren’t to see coming at all, this story will keep you guessing right up until the end where it throws another curve ball.

Though the characters do feel stiff at times, or some dialogue seems a bit choppy or repetitive, it is a plenty enjoyable read that I certainly wasn’t expecting to take the turn it did towards the end.

You’ll have a good time watching the characters’ personal worlds colliding or crashing down around them due to their choices as one secret after another is revealed. This novel does an excellent job of highlighting the fact that nobody is truly as good of a person as we think we are.

How far indeed would you go for the one you love? Vivian is stuck in relationship with Vincent, but their situation is much less than loving due to Vincent’s hedonistic lifestyle. Jeff is a down-on-his-luck lawyer trying to make his way in life. All seems hopeless until he spots Vivian and instantly falls for her. Fate throws him a break when he finds out that Vincent is her fiancée, and Vincent and Jeff are almost identical. Then a plot stirs in Jeff’s mind.
This story did not unfold like how I expected it at first, and that’s a good thing. It starts at first as a simple story story of a woman stuck in an unhappy relationship with Jeff as the unknown savior of her heart. I was so shocked by the end that I’m still reeling. No matter what happens, you want the best for Jeff and Vivian. Even Vincent, at the end of the story, has his own sympathetic origins to his horrible behavior. Great read.

I truly enjoyed writing this story. I contemplated a different ending, but I am so glad I chose the one I did. Although either would have been good, I feel more satisfied with the chosen outcomes for my characters. I'm currently working on a prequel to this suspenseful story. I would recommend that you check it out; don't sleep on this one.

What a great roller-coaster ride‼️ This a real page turner so fasten your seat belts. It was well written by the Author as well. I loved how the Character's developments and storylines were well displayed and hard to figure out. There wasn't a dull moment, and in fact I had to pause the book several times. I really hated when it ended, so I'm looking forward to more work from this Author. It's just one of the books from a series, so the others are definitely a must. The suspense throughout and ending was EVERYTHING ‼️FIVE STARS 🌟 hands down.

I'm on the fence with this one. It took getting through the first chapter to really get into it (the first chapter is over 50 pages 😮). It was a quick and easy read, but I did feel it was a bit unrealistic. I know it's fiction, but I still want my reads to be believable. With that said, I still did enjoy it and will be reading the next in the series.

The biggest reason for only giving 3 stars is because it was hard to decipher one scene from the next. I thought I was reading about one person, and then the next paragraph switched to someone else.

A great plot!

A first novel by a new author with ties to Michigan and a great story line. I read it in one sitting. I had to see how everything tied together and was pleasantly surprised!

Great story line. Writing style was a little all over the place as each paragraph seemed to jump between main characters leaving you to have to consciously think about which character she was writing about.
