Sahara Roberts caught the writing bug early in life. She enjoys writing Dark Romance and Romantic Suspense. Her days are filled with international trade issues (the legal kind) and her evenings writing steamy romance.

She is currently working on expanding the Billionaire Heirs series.

Sahara lives in South Texas with her beloved husband and their three furry overlords. She enjoys cooking, baking, and cake decorating, but she would certainly prefer to have someone else do the dishes.

Mattie and Montoya will take you on an emotional ride with plenty of drama. Like most Cartel romances there is no shortage or fast action, danger or steam. This is part of the The Blood Ties series and can be read as a standalone. Wow, this book will grab your attention right at the beginning and you won't be able to put it down. Hot and Hotter. This is book three in The Blood Ties series and it is Montoya and Mattie's story and wow what a story it is. Montoya and Mattie have history that didn't end very well so they have both kept there distance from each other as much as possible. Maggie has been in love with Montoya for as long as she can remember but what she didn't realise was that he was also in love with her but the timing just wasn't right for either of them but now that Montoya knows that Mattie is in danger all bets are off as Montoya will do anything in his power to protect her and keep her safe. The connection and chemistry between them has always been strong but now that they have connected again after so long they realise that it is even stronger and they can't deny what they feel for each other but will it all work out as danger is just around the corner. Omg I absolutely love this book and series so much and I couldn't put this book down as I had to see what would happen next and I definitely wasn't disappointed as Sahara Roberts is an amazing author and writer and I definitely recommend you read this book and others by her and you will definitely not be disappointed.

I really enjoyed this suspenseful mafia romance. I loved the characters of Mattie and Montoya. Their attraction is so beautiful. My favorite thing about Montoya is how he senses danger. I think Sahara did a wonderful job describing his intuition and senses. I also really liked the world that was built for this story. I would recommend reading this series in order because it references things that happened in the earlier books. I did not read the other books first and still really enjoyed this book, but I think I would have enjoyed it even more if I had read them in order. Overall this book is really great, I enjoyed it, and loved the ending!

Loved the characters in this book. Mattie and Montoya have a history. Montoya tried to stay away from Mattie because he saw Mattie as innocent, but fails miserably. Montoya has a six sense about trouble going on and unfortunately it is squarely focused on Mattie. So in order to protect Mattie, Montoya has to be close to Mattie and that is when all the chemistry they share ignites in a big way. I would recommend reading Staling Iris and Saving Bonnie first, but not totally necessary. The story line in this book was truly enthralling and kept my attention throughout the book.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is book three in the Blood Ties series and about Mattie and Montoya. They have a history and denied their feelings for each other. Mattie now finds herself right in the middle of where she did not want to be. He has vowed to protect her whether she likes it or not. The main problem is who will protect her heart from him. These two have a story full of danger, drama, lust and love. This is a short, fast paced, mafia romance.

Finally Love

Mattie who's brother is Tino, has been in love with Montoya for years. Montoya has been on the ranch for years, never leaving it.

Montoya has a feeling Mattie is in danger, he leaves the ranch to go to her. Mattie gets a call from Kassey that Montoya was trying to contact her, she still has his number blocked.

Mattie arrives home and see that Montoya is waiting for her. He tells her he can feel danger for her. He keeps her on lock down.

Mattie sneaks out to go to her office to-do payroll. Montoya realize that she left. He sense danger for her. Montoya leaves to go after her, will he arrive in time?

This third book in the series was just okay. It didn't bother me like the first story and it didn't thrill me like the second one. And just a warning, you really won't understand a darn thing without having read at minimum the second book in this series. And even then I was confused by some things. I'm not sure if I just didn't remember from the previous books, or it was just not explained all that well. But since I didn't have that much connection to this couple I didn't even care to figure it out.

Mattie is in danger but does not want the help of Montoya, a friend of her brother. Montoya is connected to the cartel and she wants no part of that. Montoya and Mattie are thrown together. Mattie had dreamed of Montoya but now she is still thinking about Montoya. Montoya was an interesting character, and I liked Mattie and the sparks flew. I was totally invested in the book and the characters. Great book.

This book was a thinker for me. I struggled to piece together the connection of the Olga chapters to Mattie and Montoya.

I loved the connection between Mattie and Montoya; her understanding of his ability and not challenge him too much on it was amazing. Kassie was a cute addition to the story; her in between work for Mattie and Montoya was absolute perfection.

I need to go back and read the first two books of this series.

Seducing Mattie is a great addition to the Blood Ties series. I'm so glad Montoya finally got a book, I've been intrigued by him since the beginning. The moment he sensed that Mattie was in danger, he was willing to do whatever it took to keep her safe. The story line is entertaining and Montoya and Mattie definitely bring the steam. I really enjoyed this book.

Seducing Mattie is a dark mafia romance and is the final book in the Blood Ties Series. it features Mattie and Montoya who had denied their feelings until Montoya realizes Mattie is in danger. He is acting as her protector from the danger. The characters are well developed for the plot. The intriguing storyline has drama, suspense, danger, and sizzling chemistry.

Loved the book it was great, the story was written well and the characters were interesting. Mattie and Montoya have had feelings for each other, but never acted on their feelings in the past. She got herself in the middle of danger, now he promised to protect her with his life. The drama made them be close where they lust with forever love.

I loved this well crafted story that had me glued to the pages of this book from the beginning. I liked the drama surrounding her character. I loved the hint of mystery and intrigue surrounding his character. Together they made a great couple.

Loved Throughout The Years

Montoya has a bad feeling which he always takes seriously. It concerns Mattie, his love for her is all consuming at times. He goes to her home to protect her. Mattie is not a willing participant. Someone is out to get her. Can they show up on time? Great ending.

Montoya and Mattie were close in the past but things happened and they decide to stay their ways. Trouble is brewing and it's in Mattie's direction so Montoya comes to protect her and they get closer and the heat is off the charts with these two. I really enjoyed book 3 and I can't wait for more.

Mattie and Montoya are very likable characters. The darker storyline is an intense mafia romance filled with action, drama, passion. Mattie and Montoya have great chemistry and I really enjoyed their story.

Held out for the one true love

This book was third in a series. It was part of the series but itncould also be read as a standalone book. It was well written but it just did not hold my interest. I was not engaged in this book, the plot, or the characters.

This ties up the previous books and it's amazing. Montoya and Mattie have history but things change for them in this one. You never know how it'll all end. A must read.
