It was supposed to be an innocent job when Haven Benning entered the gates of our compound two years ago. Take care of her, protect her, get her to talk, that was my only responsibility as the vice president. But I let the job become personal and developed my own agenda: keep her and claim her. Even though I know I shouldn't, I've let her live in fear just to keep her close.
Haven
Storm has been my protector, my savior, the man I have fallen for. He's all I need in this world besides my sister, or is he? I'm starting to wonder what's really true. Has he really tried to help me, or has he kept me right where he wants me? It's time for both of us to get the answers we seek.
Where to start? So this was a telling not a showing .And with all the people that were involved ,it felt as if you were missing books .Talking about people and things they went through but you don't know any of it so it was like this is a spin off series and if it is ? Well I wasn't informed . We are told what happened to the girl and frankly it didn't bother me at all ,I wasn't vested in these.women at all. No connection ,not deep just the telling .We start the book 2 years after they escape and end up at the compound. I didn't like that .we get some flash backs with a little info but as I said I felt nothing ,no horror,no pity,no anger nothing . As we rock on we are told how he and the other guy have pretty much not tried to help the girls ,letting them stay locked away in the room for two years. Not forcing the girls just not helping and being satisfied that they didn't want out .100% dependent on the men, they don't even go get own food ....nothing. Now this whole time we are told how much he can't live without her and he loves her bla bla bla bla then we get detailed scenes with him having sex with other women in the club ..I mean that's what they are there for ..yes? Me ? I view it just like if you special other has terminal illness and can't be sexual with you .Do you get those based need met outside the bed ..H double hockey sticks NO! I didn't like him having sex with others .It is wrong . if he actually loved her he'd been trying to get her help and holding himself off till she could meet those needs .And really I think it is unhealthy to focus on the man that helps you when you have known no good men at all . Stockholm syndrome.. Even if he wasn't the one that kidnapped you . So for me this was flat and I didn't care about these girls or men at all add him sexing it up the whole time and you have a book I hate .💀
Okay I don't know how I feel about this book. I loved the dirty hard core Biker part of this story... The club was toy hard core in their dealings with their enemies.
Storm was a total bad-ass alpha biker. Took no prisoners and definitely loved up to his name. But some parts just annoyed me. There were parts I didn't agree with but I understood why it was done.
Haven was a broken person and she definitely needed all the help she could get. But some parts I felt like she was just totally annoyingly childish. I liked that Storm put his foot down and got her help and tried to get her to work through her issues.
All in all it was a good story. Some of the scenes might be a bit difficult for some readers to read. I am looking foward to seeing how they deal with the bad guy 😬 Hopefully in the next book😊💖
He is with OWs. The last time was a double team with another brother. Shortly after he goes snuggle up. I don't think he even washed the whore off of himself. Disappointed.

Overall I was thrilled with this story. It took some piecing together because I haven’t read Satan’s Sinners books yet but I got the jist. Haven and Chapel’s backstory was heartbreaking, painful and filled with emotional, physical and sexual abuse. They arrived at the MC Storm is the VP utterly broken and scared. Haven is childlike even though she is late 20s because since she was taken so young she doesn’t know basic life skills. Storm it’s a gruff and tough biker of a 1% MC with a soft spot for Haven. This story is raw and gritty and had my emotions waffling all over the place. In the midst of their budding relationship can to wounded souls heal each other? I can’t wait for this series to continue!!
I’ve forgotten how much I love this authors work Loved this story I loved Storm even though i wanted to brain him and tell him to get his woman! Haven has went through too much in her life but she still has a fighting spirit! They go through a lot and what a story it was!!!! Now I need more!!!!
Her and her sister escapes from the men holding them against their will. They had to do alot of things that was horrible at a young age. He tries to keep her at an arm length and not have feelings for her. All of the events of this story is so awesome. J loved it
May need tissues for some aspects of the story. I can't wait to read more
So, I must be the odd ball, that tried to read a story that was supposed to be the first in a series, but it was actually not? At least that's what this felt like, like we were supposed to know the characters, and the situations that are mentioned. For me this felt like I opened a book in the middle and tried to start reading. Now, I'm not saying that Colbie Kay isn't a good writer, she writes some really nitty, gritty, hard core MC, no rainbows or unicorns to be found. Haven and her sister showed up at a the gate to the clubhouse begging for help, that was two years ago. Two years Storm and Ace have been caring for the girls (FYI they are grown women) letting them hide away from the world. They know its not exactly healthy, so when the club moves to a new clubhouse, the guys decide that Haven and Chapel need to get help to get better and move on with their lives. That is easier said than done as Haven fights Storm at every turn, fighting out of fear but still fighting him. Will Storm lose Haven before he even has her? For me this was just an ok read, maybe if I catch up and read the previous MC stories I won't feel so lost. I give this 3.5 stars.
Storm is one of those stories that will hit you hard in the feels and there are triggers as there are things that are very hard to read about. Haven & her sister showed up outside Storm's clubhouse out of the blue & they took them in. The story starts after both girls have been there for 2 years, and still aren't better so the MC still has no clue as to who damaged them so badly. Haven still can't even leave her room, and while Storm was mostly amazing (had some issues with a couple of his decisions), he played a part in her not getting better but he finally gets her help. I know she acted immature at times but seriously, the things she went through before she was even legal probably stunted her with the PTSD only adding more issues. Colbie Kay really penned a story that was emotional to the extreme on the backdrop of MC life so it had a kicker of gritty to boot. I don't want to give anything else away so you know what to do to find out how it all played out! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Storm & Ace are determined to finally break through the walls the two sisters, Haven & Chapel, have kept up for the past 2 years as they start a new chapter with the merged MC. Danger is always lurking and the MC men will spill as much blood as necessary to get their message across & keep their illegal drug trafficking operation growing. Haven fights Storm every step of the way as she struggles to open up about her torturous past, but Storm refuses to let Haven hide anymore as he knows this is what they both need if they want any chance at a future together. When the secrets from Haven’s past are finally revealed and the tormentor from her past gets Haven in his clutches again, will Storm and the club be able to save her? This ends with a HFN.

I don't know where to start with this one first I have to say this book gutted me.it.comes with warnings for a reason !!! Storm and Haven were amazing ! Haven was so strong and she didn't even realize it !! Storm didn't know how to deal with his feelings for Haven and he thought he was holding her back from living her life as normal as possible under the circumstances ... He fought and fought to stay away breaking her heart more than once ..Will Storm and Haven survive the storm or will the rain put out the fire !! This is a MUST READ ! GRAB this box a box of Kleenex some chocolate and prolly fireball cause your gunna need it !!
Haven and Chapel’s backstory was heartbreaking, painful and filled with emotional, physical and sexual abuse. When they arrive at Cobra's MC the VP storm takes responsible of them and they are broken and scared. Being taken at such a young age Haven is more like a child having no life skills taught to her. Storm it’s a gruff and tough biker of a 1% MC with a soft spot for Haven. This story is raw and gritty and had my emotions all over the place. I loved seeing him fight for her and her finally fight for herself. I love these two and can't wait to read Ace and Chapel's story.
I enjoyed storms book very much. I cannot wait to read the next book in this particular series. I love that storm’s character has issues of his own with his emotions. I am glad to see that we didn’t have the Haven just fall for storm right away. And I love that we so that she can struggle and find the Happiness at the end. In real life when we have trauma we don’t get over it right away it takes this time and appreciate she shows both sisters in two different lights. Please enjoy the book
Storm is an excellent read! Full of emotion and excitement as well as surprises and action. This story had my heart breaking for Haven Benning and her sister Chapel. These girls have been through h*l^. They are survivors and are so much stronger than they think they are. Thanks to Storm and Ace taking care of the sisters, they're at least safe now. Needless to say Storm and Ace won't be letting it go. I can't wait to see what's next in this new series.
I disappeared One I started this book! I could not stop reading it. What a tragic situation and the way the author told the story was so well done. It gave light to such a dark and ugly thing. Something that is much more common than people want to believe! I love Storm and his Neanderthal ways! Tonight, bad ass biker with a heart! Doesn’t get much better than that. I can not wait to finish this series.
What a great start. The Cobras and Satan's Sinners have joined together. Storm is VP and has been looking after Havan since she turned up at the old Cobras clubhoue. He has been in love with her for a while, but won't do anything due to what has happened in her past. When he she her in trouble he steps in and claims her. The ride is great with this couple, even with the darkside of the story.
Outstanding read! This is the continuation of the Satan’s Sinners MC series as they morph to the Sinning Cobras MC. There are some very difficult parts to get through in this book (tons of trigger warnings at beginning of the book - heed them) but it is worth it. Storm and Haven’s story is a long road but what a reward at the end. Loved it!
Good start to a new series. Great characters along with a good plot. Great chemistry and lots of twists and turns plus action and emotional ups and downs. Looking forward to the next book in this series.
Storm what can I say he is a force. But his love for Haven undeniable but like any stubborn male denying himself. What Haven and her sister went through was heart breaking. But like any excellent MC story the girl gets her man . highly recommend
Not bad not great. Just wasn’t feeling it between Storm and Haven.
Something was missing. Why wait two years to get someone help? Why wait two years to get info on what happened? Big plot holes and just didn’t make sense
The story is really good. It is totally MC all the way. Shootings, heat, chemistry all of it. If you are sensitive, this book has an lot of triggers. It was oh so good, I would have liked it to be a bit longer though. I loved the characters
Love how Haven’s character evolves throughout the book. I really didn’t care for Storm’s character until halfway through the book when he started to show Haven his true feelings. Can’t wait to read the next book in this series to find out what happens next with the other characters.
Storm and Haven’s book is the first book in the Sinning Cobra series. It’s a spin-off from the Satan Sinners Series. It can be read as a standalone.
OMG so good! Once I started reading I could stop until I finished. Storm and Haven are amazing I can't wait to gear more about them and to read Ace and Chap let's story.
Excellent! I've volunteered to review this book for United Indie Book Blog. I love to read stories from Colbie Kay. Storm is the first book in the Sinning Cobras MC series. Storm and Haven's story will have you on the edge of your seat. Has great chemistry and lots of twists and turns. I could not put this book down. Storm is the perfect sexy, stubborn alpha who you can't help but fall in love with. Haven is a beautifully broken girl, who went thru hell and back. Their story is full of heartbreak, suspense, drama, danger, lust, and love. I enjoyed the characters and look forward to the next book in the series. I can't wait to read about Ace and Chapel's story. Keep up the awesome work!

The first book in the Sinning Cobras series is Storm and Haven’s story and what a ride it is. As always Colbie pulls you into her stories and it’s like you are part of the extended characters looking as these two figure out everything to get what they both want. Just a little FYI, this book may cause some triggers for some, just wanted to make you aware. I loved the book, my only reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is the going back in time during current events. I know some like this, I don’t, I would have liked if it was a chapter or something dedicated to Havens past, but I do understand that sometimes the story comes to the author how it comes and that’s how it’s written. Nothing wrong with it, I just prefer not to have it happen, still a great freaking story and definitely with grabbing a copy and reading. I am hooked on this new MC and can’t wait to see what happens as we get more of the Sinning Cobras and of course updates and little tidbits of the others. Loved how colbie joined them together. Thanks Colbie for writing this story and for continuing the story line of all these guys and their Ladies! I look forward to more and more. Go grab this books peeps, her story is much better reading material than my review. Happy reading!!!
Haven's story is heartbreaking...being held and abused at a young age her innocence ripped away from her. Her and her sister show up a the Sinning Cobras compound broken so the mc takes them in and Storm is set to take care of Haven. He is attracted to the young girl but because of her trauma and all he denies it. After two years he decides that Haven needs to deal and heal from what happened and he helps her do it. I love that the two MCs work together and there is lots of action and drama in the story. Can't wait for more.
