(Count it as a 2.5 stars)
The art is on point and beautiful. I didn't find the episodic nature compelling enough through the whole run, but Eni and Dewi are funny, and two fashion icons (Shirahama's dedication to create beautiful outfits is clear).
The chaotic nature of this story leads to various situation, and it may seem strange to say, but I think that the most interesting chapters are those where Eni and Dewi are alone and not in a duo: this way, it's easier to explore their different connections and ethics about the world, before they are reunited.
(My favourite chapter is the 8th one, but I also appreciated the plot about the theatrical producer, where human greed is explored)

I felt a little underwhelmed with how this wrapped up, honestly. However, I also feel like this is a fun comedic work that you can't take all too seriously at the end of the day. I think part of the reason my standards were as high as they were is because I really respect the authors other work and all the intricacy of it. But not everything needs to be weighty or perfect. This series was a good break from some more serious stuff I've been reading lately and while I probably won't revisit it often, if at all, I still enjoyed my time with it.

I liked it! The two main characters got some more development.

Sadly, the same does not hold true for the side characters and recurring cast. And now the series is over.

Putting your soul into your work.

A strong finish to a pretty random series about the unlikely pair of divine and demonic frenemies Eniale and Dewiela brought to you by the mangaka of the award winning series Witch Hat Atelier, Vol. 1. As always the art within the volume is absolutely beautiful and each of the characters, although interesting in their own ways, are also flawed making them pop out whenever they are in a scene as we reach the 3rd and final volume of the series.

Within the pages of this volume a little pride accidentally gets Eniale promoted to a Seraphim when she takes a multi limb growing tonic thinking it will fix a bald spot on her wing. The clock is ticking as she has to make enough money to buy another tonic that will make her extra wings fall off before (gasp) she is given more responsibilities and forced to leave the Earth alone. In the next chapter we are introduced to Kiriel the new angel on the job and she is asked to work with Eniale to guide a soul to heaven. She learns a little bit about perspectives and what not to do from our ditzy angel protagonist on the job as well as a little about her own interests.

Meanwhile on Earth Dewiela is taking advantage of Eniale's lack of interruptions and has made a deal with a once big time producer of plays to sell the souls to them by making their contracts with Dewiela's contracts. However when the ploy is discovered after the playhouse becomes famous for their performances the troop gets a little out of hand with their requests. Only with the help of the exorcist Adam can anyone hope to contain the ensuing chaos of a play gone wrong.

Finally with a collection of exorcists coming together for a convention Dewiela decides to check out the opposition and discovers not only Adam (who has been obsessed with hunting her down after he met her) but also Father Mark Burroughs who is not only Adam's old mentor but a conflicted priest who loves a demon himself. Now Dewiela must make sure Mark does not give Adam her summoning sigil lest she be made his tool for better or for worse. Of course that is only one problem she must face as Eniale returns to Earth at last to discover Dewiela with Adam and her misunderstanding of the situation may be oh so traumatic upon the poor mortals around much less poor Deiwela. Honestly I am glad to see Adam made a return to the series before the end. :)

The final volume and I will miss this duo! I love that we got to see both POVs and also see them together. I love how Eniale is often the biggest threat, and she is an angel. You would expect things to come from Dewiale, but despite being evil and having the biggest plans she is the softest at times. In this last volume Eniale reaches a new level in being an angel which means she has to go back to Heaven (but you all know how that will go) while Dewiale is having a good time finding souls and contracts. Oh, and meets an annoying exorcist again (LORD that guy is a pest) and preacher who is seriously happy with what Dewiale gave him (haha, I hope he has a good time). Things escalate with each chapter and the last chapter, RIP everyone on Earth. That was an explosive ending to it all!
I would HIGHLY recommend this series to all.

3.5 Stars (Mostly because of the ending)

Hm, that was a somewhat unsatisfying ending to this series. This volume actually has a plot line for the majority of it, and I found that plot to be fairly interesting. It was still very much a comedy, but it was toned down from ridiculous to just silly. I just wish it hadn't ended so abruptly. Seems like the artist started to have an idea for a good plot, but couldn't figure out how to end it, so she just made it end in a very bland way. Also, I said it before, but if the artist ever wanted to go into horror, they would do great.

I am SO SAD that this is over! I feel like each volume of this was better than the last. And by the end, I was feeling a little teary-eyed, even while chuckling at the ending. One of the things that impressed me most about this series (besides the phenomenal art) was how attached to Eni & Dewi I became, despite the episodic nature of the story. I love how this final volume featured some of the side characters from the first two volumes. I truly wish we could have more shenanigans from these two! I also feel like this series is very underrated—I wish more people were talking about this one. I’ll never stop being sad that this is over!

Vol. 1 ★★★☆☆
Vol. 2 ★★★☆☆

Not as fun as before, because Eniale and Dewiela spend most of the volume apart. The ending is so abrupt. I wasn't expecting much, but Shirahama could've at least tie up some of the loose ends. As flawed as this series is, I still prefer it to Witch Hat Atelier.

I know the legion of Kamome Shirahama stans will have to pick this one up to slake the appetite. The bright side is that this is the final volume, and it does kind of tie all of the disparate elements together.

This is the last book, and honestly I wished there was more to this series. There is a close of issues, and at the end of the book, you either like or really dislike the characters, but this is a unique view of how angels and demons do exist. Read alike for series is Hozuki's Coolheadedness and As Miss Beelzebub Likes.

A little less funny than the last two volumes, and it does end on a surprisingly abrupt note, but it did get a few good laughs out of me. The art is also just as beautiful as ever, and the ending was honestly sweet for as sudden as it was. Boy, I hope Shirahama's written more manga, 'cuz this series was real good!

there continues to be some issues with the style of comedy (several fatphobic lines in this one) but the art is as gorgeous as ever and i still got a few laughs out of it. the two leads being apart most of the manga made it not as fun as previous volumes tho

Great conclusion to a fantastic short manga. I think that the length is perfect as it doesn't drag and can remain happily chaotic in its briefness.

2/5. Extremely disappointed in the finale. The fun shenanigans we'd had in previous volumes were now empty stories and pure chaos for the sake of chaos.
